Odogu9195: If you ever wonder what is wrong with our country, here is your answer! Stop passing religion like a generational wealth, teach your kids I repeat teach your kids not to pray away their problems but rather face their problems and struggles head on. Europe and Asia are growing exponentially in terms of economic growth and so on, Africa is left behind because we only care about Jesus and his Return. I rest my case Boss, I tire for we Nigerians, any little thing pray, you kick your leg on a stone pray, you have a bad dream pray what ever you are passing through pray we keep praying even when prayers are not needed. Some time is good we apply logic to some of our basic need not disturbing God morning and night |

komekn: First of all football administration in Nigeria is intrinsically POLITICAL.
It mirrors what happens in our elections when it comes to selection of the NFF President. It's just on a small-scale that's all.
There is money to be made and participanys want that money. THATS THE MOTIVATION and has been for donkey years.
Just like in our society l don't think there has ever been a free and fair elections. What we have is degrees of rigging.
So in the course of trying to get to office you sell your soul to the devil and murder all your convictions of righteousness in the process.
Honest trustworthy people may attempt but they will never succeed. IMO
The reality is that the people of a nation reflect it's leadership. We get what we deserve we are too ready to sell our birthright for a pot of porridge.
Amaju may do a few things right like all our politicians do but different degrees. But will fill.thuer very deep pockets in the process.
And yes l know Amaju well. When i saw the mention darkelf gave you i know today is a good day for you to not only take a swipe at our NFF but to remind us of how corrupt we are, i know that in fact most of us here know that. You have also share your personal experience about corruption while you were here in Nigeria. I'm not disputing anything you put up here but my only concern is that you have never for once share corruption cases happening in the football association of the English teams is it that there are not corrupt? or they don't engage in sharp practice. If you don't mind I will appreciate it if you share one or two cases |

Danielnino00: FIFA ranking points aren't generated like that o... no b 3 points for a win and 1 for a loss like normal football match... Friendly matches carry less weight than competitive games and organised tournaments.. the strength of the team we face also matter... I tell you, teams in top ten should be our target. If we can win two teams in top ten we should be in top 20 no exaggeration. |

Kbs468: Yes it's because the accumulated points for NIGERIA in FIFA grade A Matches Post TUNISIA and AFCON hasn't been significant enough to have over taken them seriously.
For example, Our Post EGYPT 2019 AFCON Matches against BRAZIL and UKRAINE could only fetch us just 2 points following the 1:1 & 2:2 Draws respectively.
Hence our accumulation of FIFA'S 1481 points in total against TUNISIA's 1495 points as at 24/10/2019 - The 14 points margin -wouldn't be over-turned soonest
Because an additional 6 points from NIGERIA vs BENIN REPUBLIC & LESOTHO individually is not enough to do so bearing in mind that TUNISIA has also garnered 3 points already against LIBYA after a 4:1 Victory on November 15th
While also having the potential of another 3 or 1 point later today when they take on EQUATORIAL GUINEA Well! I believe these is how you understand the FIFA ranking to be and you are not the only one. When we defeated Argentina everybody was happy and we where hoping that we will move up ward, of course we did move up ward but not as we expected some people where kind of been inquisitive that's when icon4 brought up this same analogy with a formular which FIFA use. You can check the website if the formular is still there because the Last time i did it was still there. But my concern is that these systems don't apply to big teams when there play smaller teams. When we participated in the last AFCON we played seven matches won five lose two if you do the maths our point would have been 9 taking consideration of the two lost but at the end of the tournament we gain more than twenty points so is kind of confusing |

Kbs468: Honestly speaking. It's high time someone else breaks that age-long Talismans' record.
Yeah. Both defeats were in AFCON 2019 and thus the reason for our being 3rd best team Our team is better than that Tunisia team. We defeat them in the AFCON i don't know why we have not leapfrog them in FIFA ranking. |

Humility017: the bench would have been his abode... England can't accomodate too many players of Nigeria origin in their set up.
take it from me...no European country can ever be like France in the integration of Africans into their national team football
it all date back to the policy of assimilation...where Africans were assimilated into the French culture and way of life.... Africans in French colonies were seen as an extension of French citizenship even though it fails in many areas...but it shows the mind and heart of France towards their colonies and such is still play today reason why they have no problem infusing Africa blood into their national teams...
just check their under 17 team...almost all black Africans...and the unity and harmony in the team is top notch...which can never happen with the English....
remember Willshire saying then that the English team don't need foreigners as regard junizaar (former man united player and now belgian international) quest to play for England then... In respect to your last paragraph, Gerard once made a similar comment though Gerard was talking in reference to having too much foreigners in the premiere league. |

Ghana is never scared of Nigeria thus our people deporting and chasing your poverty capital of the world citizens out of Ghana and closing their shops.Just yesterday Ghana's budget for 2020 was read in Ghana and the country is spending 17 billion dollars in infrastructure and development for 29 million people whilst Nigeria's budget for 2020 is 25 billion dollars for 200 million people. Sky trains are coming into operations by next year August. We produce more electricity than we need. Zambia has never been a match to Nigeria in football. We often seem to always have our way against. I have been trying to see if I can remember any game we lost to Zambia at any level of football.
As for Mbesuma. I always laugh when I watch him run on the pitch Na him dem suppose call the HEAD MASTER For the past two decades now Nigeria has not lost to Zambia and i don't think that will change any time soon. there just don't have that zeal, most South African teams find it difficult to defeat Nigeria i just don't know why. |

what's wrong if vatse majority explained to you that they had little misunderstanding on the electoral process...thinking icon and Andrew had automatic slot in the award board already and as such engage in a referendum(yes/no) to see to his inclusion which came out positive....
same man will be the one to fund the project, visit the radio station and even make the award templates and visit the NFF office...
I am looking forward to a successful second edition of this award believing it will leave so much with the nff on the need to sometimes pay us visits here and as well make use of some our inputs...in managing Nigeria football You just sum it up with your last paragraph, i believe that's the reason behind this initiative by Oga icon, most time newbie come here to use subtle ways to ask what is the end product of the discussion we normally have here. But with this initiative(this should be the second year and this year look to be very interesting) we should be able to drag their attention here. I applaud Oga icon for this. |

vikkogg: Good day everyone. I am writing this to seek for your opinions. I am a graduate of Statistics, University of Ibadan with Second class Upper. I graduated in early 2018 and I'm through with NYSC. The I.T company I served offered to retain me with a salary of 40k monthly. Due to the fact that I had no other option as at then, I took up the offer. Now, this is where the frustration comes in: The work time frame is 8am-5pm daily but most times, I get engaged till 6pm, at times 7pm. I leave home 6am and return home 8-9pm. I spend #800 daily on transportation and #400 daily on feeding to make #1,200 daily. Since I became a full staff of the company, I've not been able to save a dime because my salary isn't enough to take care of my bills, not to talk of savings. I've been trying hard to get a better job but all to no avail. It's not that I'm a dullard. I have ND Statistics (Distinction), and BSc Statistics (5.9 of 7.0). I'm never bragging my people, it's just to let you all know that I'm doing my best towards having a bright future. I need your advice. What should I do? Should I continue with the job or quit?? Help me push this to the front page as I need advice ASAP, please! I can't tell you to return to the labour market but i will advice you to either look for accommodation close to your place of work or a place you can spend at least two to three hundred for transportation or speak to the management about your plight. |
