We would have topped the group if we had avoided defeat to Brazil. & that would have earned us an easier fixture against Slovakia that managed to qualify as 3rd place in group B with 3pts. (1D vs 3BEF)

&to your question; Argentina is a tougher opponent not only in pedigree but also as the hosts. smiley
And who do you think Brazil is playing? It would have be an Africa affair because Brazil is playing Tunisia.

In as much as i will like us to respect Argentina this current Argentina under 20 is not spectacular, there did not qualify during the south America qualifier there only qualify to the competition as host.

Wahala dey o!
This is the reward of losing to Brazil & finishing 3rd in our group - you get a tough fixture.
They have to be at their very best to stand a chance against hosts Argentina.
My prayers are with them. cool
had it been we came second we would have played England because Italy is playing England for coming second. So between England and Argentina which do you prefer?

Can you give me any iota of a shred of official corroborated independent evidence of a Nigerian born in Nigeria age. At the very best we can have an age range but no specifics.

Brazil has automatic governmental data capture at birth. We DO NOT.

So you rely entirely on the players integrity it's like taking a bank loan based on persons uncorroborated claim to pay back.
Now i know that you're anti Nigeria, you're not a sincere human being. You see those Brazilian grand pa with mustache you are still defending them.

So a twenty years old black man will have a mustache not bears am talking about those strong mustache i saw.

I agree. And even added to the midfield rebuild our dear Super Eagles need, we also need new CB legs.

Ogwuche is already in Europe in one of the scandinavian leagues so he is marketing himself very well indeed. An upgrade from Trelleborgs FF beckons should he keep this up.

Benjamin Frederick too is doing himself a solid. Should be out of the local scene in good time.
I hear you nairaland sport section encyclopedia.

I can relate, trust me. I have just learnt to channel my focus to the positives.

This current set will feed the Super Eagles in a few areas and most especially in midfield, the department that desperately needs surgery.
I expect that Daniel daga to make the super eagles team in a not too distance time. We need a player that can screen the back four and dictate play from deep.

My only problem with this U20 team is that they are grossly overage. For all we know, they could all be in their mid to late twenties i.e at their peak.

This means the boys have only two or three years max to perform optimally before nature takes its course and diminishing returns sets in.

For those celebrating that we have found fresh solutions to our SE problems, I would advise caution. It is not yet Uhuru. Those boys are not boys.
Did you notice it that the boys were over age when there were been beating left right and center and manage to came fourth at the caf under 20 afcon or you are noticing it yesterday because we beat italy?

kanipe you are folarin. You are to choose between two countries that will most likely never win the world cup in your lifetime but you are likely to win a continental trophy. Looking at the competition in the forward line, who would you choose.
Lol, it's safe to say we have one of the most expensive front line in Africa. Just look at victor osimhen.

Believe me most homeless people are US citizens. Their problems starts with drug addiction that erodes their finances to the point they can no longer pay their bills.

Some are returning military veterans with all sorts mental illnesses that the US abandoned.

Some are yet EX- Con who were released from prisons but can't get a job cause of their criminal history.

You're talking to New York licensed rehabilitation therapist.
It's like your skin is thicker if not look for helmet and bullet proof because there will soon come for you.

I know there did not mention me but you see sometimes i hate double standard, it's high time we call this our elders to order. In your time you enjoy this country and we can tell from history that things where alittle bit ok now in 2023 you want to brainwashed people to accept some one who's past is questionable
How do you call people like that?

You can't vote the wrong people into office and expect things to work. Tomorrow you come here and lament about how our football is not progress but you forget You've already lay the wrong foundation.

What do you know about politics? Disappointing to say the least, I've seen you countless times exchanging banters about how the 90s was perfect the 80s was eldorado but here you are in 2023 trying to foster a drug smuggller and half death human on the youth.
It shall not be well with you and your plans.

I would advise you to meet your maternal uncle's and talk to them about your predicament. Don't let her in no matter what happens. Some mother's are witches, who knows if she's the one who stopped you from getting married? She explain why she doesn't want you to repair her own house and insist to live in your house. Something is fishy about her insistence to move into your apartment. Don't accept that! A word is enough for the wise.
Nawa, what a bold tongue.
