Don't confuse growth with development. While Nigeria has the biggest economy in Africa, she is far behind in development. Ghana infrastructures are fairer than Nigeria's. Ghana is better than Nigeria in several ratings.

Oppose to what many believe, even some economists, population is not really a good thing. small countries can devour Nigeria economically and even in warfare. compare Canada or Israel to Nigeria.

in 2006, we were 140 million people. less than 14 years later, we are 200 million. 60 million souls within 13 years! we pop out children like fish. and now the effect of having children without the means of taking care of them is seeing in the society.

If I have a country with landmasse of 3000km square and the people are doing well, who cares about your 900,000 plus landmass with massive poverty and unemployment?

Isreal is about 3000km square...in the range of Lagos or Bayelsa in size. it has per capital GDP of over 40,000. And God forbid Nigeria having belligerent encounter with Isreal.

Nigeria is highly disfunctional society with disfunctional and dummy leaders.

Even Jesus Christ when people didn't believe he was Gods son he kept referring to God as "My father." It was a strange thing for anybody to call God father then. I Don’t Know If Nigeria Still Want Me – Augsburg Defender Uduokhai Unsure Of International Future With Germany

On loan Wolfsburg defender Felix Uduokhai says he is not sure of his international future with Germany and he is also at lost if Nigeria are still interested in luring him from Germany, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.

Uduokhai is on a season long loan to Augsburg and so far he has been outstanding this season but his performance hasn’t earned him a spot with the U21 team of Germany and that has left him unhappy.

While voicing out his disappointment at not getting called up the 22 year old cast doubt over his chances with Germany owing to the snub and says he has not been contacted with Nigeria since he was approached before the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

He turned down the request to follow Nigeria to the 2018 World Cup and instead honoured a call up to the German U21 team although he made it clear that he is still open to the idea of representing Nigeria in the future.

"I was disappointed when I didn’t get called up to the U21 and at my age I wonder if I will get opportunities in the future. It’s my dream to play for Germany at the highest level but that isn’t certain for now”

exactly.

Start from somewhere.

It is folly to start looking for 150k when you have not even gathered sufficient experience. This generation, everyone just wants to make fast money, nobody is waiting for the process. Even if you acquire skill finish, you still have to build a clientele, money will not just be flowing because you have a skill. Someone who is less informed, will now think everything is rosy for those that aren't under salary employment.

I know a lady that works in the Irish embassy, she makes 900k per month, minus allowances and trips to Ireland. Her last employment, she was making three times less, but that employment helped her learn Spanish, which was instrumental to getting this new job.

People are working in Shell, KPMG, Deloitte, and various well-paying NGOs and making more money than "Team Self-Employed" without disturbing the peace, at least salary money is sure for most, self-employed money is not. Even those in salaried employment learn many skills on the job, someone learnt Spanish courtesy of a job.

Na who no know road, go talk say road far.
So what is your point? that salary job is better than being self employed.

Nigeria
Nigeria 1-1 Brazil – Player Ratings : Awaziem Tops Ratings, Uzoho, Ajayi Shine, Chukwueze Stars

The Super Eagles of Nigeria were forced to a 1-1 draw by five times World Cup winners Brazil in an international friendly played in Singapore to help both teams prepare for their upcoming competitive engagements.

Nigeria took the lead in the first half through Joe Aribo before Casemiro levelled for Brazil after the half time break. Our correspondent rates the players on parade for Nigeria in the game.

Francis Uzoho – Solid display from the on loan Deportivo La Coruna shot stopper. Made two very good saves to deny Firmino and later Gabriel Jesus. Went off injured after a collision with Casemiro from the only error he made in the game when he misjudged the flight of a cross into the box….. 7/10

Chidozie Awaziem – Man of the match. Didn’t lose a single tackle and covered up nicely for the central defenders. His confidence and link up play when on the ball was also eye catching. A vastly improved player from when he first made his debut for Nigeria……8.5/10

Jamilu Collins – Did very well in preventing crosses from coming in from his flank. Defended with confidence and was very alert to the threat of the Brazilians particularly in the second half…… 7/10

William Troost-Ekong – Solid in aerial duels and tackles but need to work on his movement and passes. Lost Firmino twice but recovered brilliantly to put a block in. Deserve the captain armband for his commitment…… 7.5/10

Semi Ajayi – Put in a very commanding shift at the rear alongside Ekong in centre defence. Read and intercepted play with ease. Moved the ball out of the back nicely and also dominated at both ends from set piece. The major highlight of his game was a goal line clearance in the second half which was gathered by Okoye……. 8/10

Wilfred Ndidi – Not quite at his level but still won possession for Nigeria particularly when Brazil look set to threaten. He however gave away possession cheaply and tired out a bit earlier than the rest players…… 6.5/10

Joe Aribo – Slowly becoming a huge fan favorite with his second goal in as many games for the senior national team of Nigeria. Covered lot of grounds just like Ndidi and his positional awareness helped in keeping Brazil at bay when they try to play on the counter…… 7/10

Alex Iwobi – A sluggish display not close to his usual level. Aside from helping in defending most times he didn’t impose himself on the game like he did in the 2-2 friendly against Ukraine…… 6/10

Moses Simon – Played very close to Dani Alves to stop the ex Barcelona defender from his usual overlapping runs. Set up Aribo for the first goal with a nice first touch before laying the ball on the plate for Aribo to finish……. 8/10

Samuel Chukwueze – Too quick for Lodi and that helped him get away from his marker easily. He was a constant threat all through the game and if not for poor decision making in the box he could have scored a goal base on how he played…… 8/10

Victor Osimhen – Ran the channels brilliantly and troubled the duo of Marquinhos and Thiago Silva with his combination of pace, power and skills. Had the game first shot on target with a smart turn in the box. His run and inch perfect cross to Simon started the move that led to the goal scored by Nigeria…… 7/10

Substitutes:
Paul Onuachu – Once again failed to transfer his form at his club to the national team. Wasted possession that could have resorted into a chance for Nigeria. Time is running out on the beanpole forward in the Super Eagles……. 4/10

Ramon Azeez – His energy helped the Eagles see off the last few minutes of the game. Put in a shift defensively probably that was what he was brought in to do……. 5/10

Dennis Emmanuel Bonaventure – Failed to track Alves twice but was lucky that it didn’t lead to a goal. Obviously eager to impress and that made him to play below his level…….. 4/10

Maduka Okoye – Plucked two high balls from his box with confidence. Justified the decision of Rohr to pick him ahead of Ikechukwu Ezenwa. Didn’t look out of place at all.
Shehu Abdullahi – Didn’t get involved enough to warrant a rating.

Peter Olayinka – He will wish for more time on the pitch next time because he was anonymous for the time he was on. Not enough to earn a rating.
You were a little bit tipsy when you were watching the match or you are over excited about Nigerian getting a draw against Brazil. Because if you had watch the match you won't be generous with your rating.

Brazil vs Nigeria: Where the game will be won and lost

Though not a competitive game, both teams are eager for the best of results in Singapore
Nigeria will face Brazil on Sunday in Singapore as part of the two-match global tour by the five-time World Cup holders.
Many are understandably excited to see the two continental powerhouses rub shoulders especially after naming strong squads for the high-profile international friendly.

While an outright prediction on what Sunday’s outcome would be may prove to be an arduous task, there could be some insights into where the game will be won and lost.

Editors' Picks

It is worthy to note that Brazil have not won in their last three matches preceding the clash with Nigeria on Sunday. Last Thursday, they were held to a 1-1 draw by Senegal .
Battle of goalkeepers

For Nigeria and Brazil, the goalkeeping section remains a knotty issue yet to be solved. For the Samba Boys, injured Liverpool goalkeeper Allison seems to be their more trusted hand. The last victory, as well as a clean sheet, were all achieved with Allison.

However, with Ederson Moraes stepping into the picture, it has not been rosy as Brazil conceded in their last three games and failed to register a clean sheet with the Manchester City man in-between the goalposts.

In eight games in the Premier League this season, Ederson has managed just three clean sheets with his last outing ending in a shock 0-2 defeat. If the Super Eagles play their cards well, they can help extend the seemingly poor run of the 26-year-old with the Brazil team.

While Brazil have their problems, it looks worse for Nigeria as this area remains a problematic one especially with the inconsistent performances of the past choices.

Francis Uzoho showed great improvements the last time against
Ukraine, if he improves on that, then it would be good for Nigeria but by and large, the keepers will have a huge role to play in Sunday’s game going by the attacking prospects of the three-time African champions as well as the five-time world champions

Who will be more clinical?

For punters, the Brazil-Nigeria game should provide goals going by attacking prowess of both teams and defensive shortcomings.
Brazil have scored an average of two goals a game this year – 12 in total. Nigeria on their part have scored ten goals this year – and the Super Eagles aren’t all that super at the back either.
Nigeria have conceded twice (eight) as many goals as Brazil (four).

While the Super Eagles will be banking on Victor Osimhen upfront going by his superlative form for Lille ,where he has scored eight goals for in as many games, Neymar is worthy of being banked on by Brazil, especially with his new centurion status.
The game may well be won or lost more by who is more clinical in front of goal.

The Bench

The right tactics, approach as well as selection by Gernot Rohr and his opposite number Tite could also determine where the pendulum of victory will swing to in Sunday’s game.
Both managers need a good result in Sunday’s game to boost the waning confidence in their abilities.

Tite outrightly expressed displeasure with the result and overall performance of his players against Senegal and has challenged them to up their game when they face the Super Eagles.

“I am not pleased with the result and overall performance (against Senegal) as they were not what I was looking for. We have more to do for a better show against Nigeria on Sunday,” Tite told reporters in Singapore.
For Rohr, he believes the Brazil game is a chance to show he and his youthful team are on the right path to greatness.
“The game against Brazil will show how much we are progressing after finishing third at the Africa Cup in
Egypt," he told the media.
“It is a fantastic opportunity for us to learn a few more things that will make us better and stronger for future challenges.”

In all, while many will see Brazil as the favourites going into Sunday’s friendly against Nigeria, the tie could be won or lost by either of the two teams. https://www.goal.com/en-ng/news/brazil-vs-nigeria-where-the-game-will-be-won-and-lost/1leyeocgshscu1se5rechtysh6

Profiling Brazil's Likely Danger Men In Sunday's Friendly Against Nigeria
Ahead of the eagerly anticipated friendly between the Super Eagles and Brazil, it could be interesting to take a peek at some of the opposition players who will most likely be Tite's secret weapon in Singapore.

The Seleção will be hurting after seeing their 17-game unbeaten run halted by Peru last time out and though they have the business of facing Senegal just before Nigeria, they will want to take some measure of pride by besting two of the best countries in the continent.

Below are five of these players who could be strutting their stuff on Sunday against Gernot Rohr's team,

Neymar Junior: Unarguably the biggest name on the Brazil roster for this weekend's games. The Paris Saint Germain attacker is blessed with some talent and has always shown thus on the field of play, as his four league goals in five games already depicts.

Should he get some minutes versus the Super Eagles on Sunday, William Troost-Ekong and Co. will have their hands full stopping the record-chasing star who is the third highest goalscorer for the Brazilian national team, having struck 61 goals in 99 matches, just one behind the legendary Ronaldo (62 goals in 98 games).

Fabinho: Another player to watch out for on Sunday will be Liverpool's midfielder Fabinho.

A seasoned performer at top level football, the 25-year-old has become a household name in the English Premier League and is one of his manager's trusted hands, for both club and country.

He is most likely to be deployed from the off against Nigeria and will be tasked with orchestrating his team's play from deep.

Renan Lodi: Lodi has seen his stock rise recently after making the jump from Athletico Parana in the Brazilian league to join Diego Simeone's Atletico in La Liga for whom he has churned out some eye-catching performances this season.

Adept at playing on either flanks of the defensive line, the 21-year-old is well known for his marauding runs into the opposition box.

Gabriel Barbosa: Gabriel is Neymar's trusted deputy. When he is not scoring the goals himself, he could be tucking off and harrying the defenders and laying them on.

His numbers in the Brazilian Serie A makes for grim reading for opposing defenders, as he is averaging one goal per game (18) he has played for Flamengo this season.

Richarlison: And rounding off our most likely thorn-in-the flesh Samba Boys will be Everton's striker, Richarlison who will be meeting his club pal, Alex Iwobi at the Singapore national stadium for this one.

He is a willing enough worker for his team and his skillset is not particularly down to plundering the goals but also his capability to take on opponents with his searing pace.

The 22-year-old striker who has scored thrice for his club this season could be leading the lines for his side on Sunday.

BroAchival:
Greetings to this great house,

As I type this message, my heart is heavy.

Up till today, I have never known my genotype till I went to do medical fitness test for my job/employment process.

I've being dating by girlfriend for about two years and seven months now, and I've always seen her as a perfect match to me, not because she's perfect, but because she's very loyal, reserved and calm, respectful, teachable, willing to learn, beautiful and very supportive to say a few.

Kai, the thought of losing her is killing and unexplainable. cry She had been a BLESSING to me all these while.
We've really worked on ourselves and helped each other to overcome our weaknesses.

With the challenges of my new and better job, will I really have that time to woo women and start the process of working on a woman to blend and suit me?

And this is a girl I'm planning to settle down with by the middle of next year, after I must have gotten used to my new job.

I have always believed that my genotype would be AA, but I was wrong!

Somebody told me that there's nothing God can not do, that he has seen people giving testimonies about change of genotypes. I didn't doubt him, it's just that i'm not the "churchious" type who easily believe all those stories.

Now, my questions are:

1.) Is it possible to have just two children without an SS child?

2.) How do I relate this sad news to her (after she has turned down several serious marriage proposals because of me)?

3.) Please, what do I do?

Please Lalasticlala, help me and send this to front page for greater views and advice.

Matured and very serious advice needed.

Thanks.
@Ereolamide Sometimes i wonder how some of you sleep at all after giving out stupid advice. like seriously you took out your precious time to put this up.

@op, please look for another partner, though is painful but surely with time you will move on.I believe your progeny should be your priority going into marriage.

Cameroon invited under 23 players for a friendly in this international break.

Look at the list, they invited some of the best under 23, they can muster.

Nigeria could have also engaged our under 23 in this window, The likes of Okereke, Kingsley Michael, Ejuke, Tosin Kehinde, Ofoborh, Dele Bashir etc could have been invited.
So we should invite under 23 to come play against Brazil.

please what work for John will not work for Peter.
