What general Buhari did to Chad in 1982 with only ground troops, will be kindergarten play. I had to read the history to understand where you're coming from, truely we've seen alot in this country. You can hate buhari but you can't take his boldness from him. Niger should be concern, there should learn from history, without ECOWAS Nigeria alone can handle Niger. |

Bannedlargedx2: Super eagles of Nigeria team is presently so talented that any decent coach can achieve magnificent result with this team. Keyword “decent coach” unfortunately, we have been unlucky with coaches. We just need a coach that will select players on Merit, a balanced Formation, appropriate first 11 and the world can be our toast. For example, our midfield is considered to be our weakness hasn’t been prioritized and this is a position that we have the likes of Eletu, daga, Akinintermilanguy, alhassan, micheal foro Napoli guy all being ignored because the position isn’t priority. Tomorrow, coaches will rather select out of form midfielders and we team wouldn’t benefit from the plethora of it’s super Forward. I lost it when someone suggested that Gift orban (A talented Striker) should be converted to play as a playmaker because of lack of midfield options (in his mind). We don’t have a midfield problem but priority/coaching issue. Next year, I expect musa to be included in our 23 man squad and based upon that selection one has to wonder if we’re being serious about winning All the players you mentioned in midfield are young and there need someone to mentor before there can Stand on there own. Please try and edit your post it's too combatsome. |

YourBestWriter: it is 9 years now and counting for me. Finished service in 2015. I stay with my parents in the village now, and I have been their burden for years. Everything just stood still after service year, and the worst was I was unable to save.
Even my hands are tied with no money in my account. I tried to carry block in a block industry, but each labourer together agreed to refuse me that opportunity because they say that I am ajebo, and I don't belong to block industries. I don't know how they find out that I am a book person even though I tried so hard to hide it.
Sometimes I pray for a quick painless death, but everyday God kept providing food for me to eat like as if he doesn't want me to die. But i kept on arguing with him till this day in my prayers. I beg him to take my wretched life painlessly, but it is as if he's enjoying my pains. I don't know if i should pity you or not like how develop is your village? Is it so develop that there is no river you can catch fishs and sell or so develop you can't see wood to cut and sell to open a small poultry. You can actually start that poultry with those local fowl before moving to those boiler but if you think cutting wood and catching fish is too difficult why not look for someone that wants to lease his land you can plant cassava sell them and use it to set up a poultry. Well! All what i wrote there is in respect of your philosophy and how you see yourself to be. If you're a proud some body those work are not for you. |

dkay51: So Nigeria withdrew from the U20 tournament in Cote d'Ivoire, and we were bashing Pinnick, this one is already worse, you're withdrawing from a tournament in a world cup year where you're getting extra funding from FIFA for participation alone. Shame! This year is not a world cup year. The boys just came back from the world cup where we lost to south Korea. Like what NFF general secretary said it's unfortunate this wafu tournament does not serve as a qualifier to the world cup so it's some how meaningless. But for me i think it would have serve as a good ground to regroup most of those past under 17 that fail to make it to the world cup and give them another opportunity, there can build a strong chemistry before the next afcon. |

lhordspy: Lol.
Mr Racoon. Quit making a big deal out of this issue. It has nothing to even do with politics per say, talkmore of trying to rope APC inside it.
I am even seeing this from a medical point of view. With due respect to the lawmaker, You know Bulkachuwa is old, 83years old and probably suffering from dementia, or Old age is catching up with him. Because, of what shall it profit him to just run down the stellar career of his wife. A woman that started from law school and moved all the way to the top as judge. Then the Old man just dragged her career into the mud just like that.
I blame the people that keep electing him into the senate. A man that cant even walk well nor understand what he's trying to say. Ahmed lawan is at fault here, he could have allowed him finish with whatever jagoons he was trying to say. That could have proved he is probably not normal. Because i am sure he would have mentioned that he felt like swimming at the senate floor.
Even a younger Peter Obi, a 65years old man, usually slips into this blank mode at times. Or is he not the one that told us he studied 'market to market strategy' at Harvard. Even when we all know there is no course like that anywhere in the world. Why will Ahmed lawan allow him to finish when lawan him self is a product of our failed judiciary. We are hopeless in this country. |

EponObi: Your are freaking smart. I've thought of this too. There's no way Asiwaju can bring in capable hands into his government while hungry, crook, entitled, old politicians are lurking in the corridor to get ministerial posts. Like it or not, you can't cross them if you don't want them to sabotage the country and/or destroy your chance of a second tenure; more so, they are the pillars that gave Asiwaju the needed support to winning the election; you can't cast them away. "Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar." The main task would now be making sure there's synergy between the old ministers and the young, smart, technocratic SA's. I doubt that would be any problem; Asiwaju would have told them oldies how his government will run during consultations.
This is why we need someone like Tinubu at the helms of affairs. Obi would have, with his short sightedness, overhauled our ministries with "youths" and sabotage his tenure. Him and GEJ, I don't know who more naïve. This game no be by spewing Pakistan statistics I like your point apt and cogent, but is there any need for the last paragraph? |
