TheSuperNerd: Bruno Onyemeachi subbed in on 52mins for his first UCL appearance in 25/26.
El Kaabi scored for Olympiacos. VAR spots a handball against Barca, Cancels the goal and still gifts Olympiacos a chance to score that goal again but this time from the spot. El Kaabi steps up and scores. 2-1. ended up stinking the whole place, we need to drop this guy from the super eagles, imagine qualifying for the World Cup and we start this guy against France, Dembele go do am weytin no good |

Cocony: 1)Enyeama was at Enyimba, yes a team that topped and was topping a competitive Nigerian League at the time for which the South African league paled in comparison then on the Continental front. this isn’t exactly true, South African league was not very good then but it wasn’t exactly inferior to ours, by 2002 Orlando pirates already won the CAF champions league while we were yet to have any |

Truidstarr: Morocco's only plan is to reap where they did not sow. Convince Foreign Born players to play for them from age grade to National team level. corruption is the reason why we’ve not taken this path, there are plenty players with Nigerian ancestry scattered across Europe and we couldn’t take even 1 to the last U-20 Afcon but we instead went with Akinyele,Bamaiyi and other carpenters. We know for example an Arsenal/Chelsea academy player will likely not pay money to be a part of the squad |

CapitalCee: Even Evan Ndicka sef na Ivory coast.
Their Attack of Amad Diallo, Evan Guassend of Villa, Adingra and Sabastine Haller is solid. But yeah for example Nigeria has a better attack than them. Midfield I will give it to Senagal, Canerooon too has some mad midfield combo of Frank Zambo Anguisa and Carlos Baleba this their attack is very very mid |

semid4lyfe: I will never be in support of dual nationality players crashing the party only when its convenient for them to do so. It's opportunistic, parasitic and could spoil team chemistry and cause disunity in the squad.
I recall this same dude was asked about playing for Nigeria 2 years ago, and he said, (I paraphrase) "at the moment I'm focused on playing for England but lets see what the future holds which is a subtle way to turn us down.
The guy no even better pass Iwobi for AM. Iwobi is a better orchestrator and passer. The issue with Iwobi is wrong deployment, midfield partnerships and formation by our National team coaches which negatively impacts on his output.
We can do without him. Between Alex Iwobi, Frank Onyeka, Wilfred Ndidi, Fisayo Dele Bashiru, Chrisantus Uche, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, Alhassan Yusuf, Anthony Dennis and even Samuel Chukwueze we have enough players to cover in midfield.
Any dual national who wants to play for Nigeria should do like Ashleigh Plumptre, Alex Iwobi, Cyriel Dessers, Ademola Lookman, William Troost-Ekong etc and come out to declare their interest with their full chest, not use Nigeria as Plan B.
If they didn't declare interest and commitment when the work was being done, they shouldn't benefit from it by going to the world cup.
Make hin wait until after the world cup when the next AFCON qualifiers will begin, no be now. I hope you know Lookman once turned us down? He only agreed to join ahead of 2022 WC |

He lacks that hunger and ambition to function even as a perfect deputy to Osimhen. I think most Nigeria born players are like that, nothing concern them with glory as long as they’ve escaped poverty they are ok. |

Cocony: Same way a Jerome Akor Adams might not have been valued when Montpellier were drowning but he was an outstanding performer. I make a case for Aniagboso to be recalled. He played same tournament with Benjamin Frederick who has respectedly taken his chance to become a starter. this Aniagboso wasn’t great at U-20, for now he can continue to grow, no need to rush him |
