Jobs/VacanciesRe: NIMC Is Trying To Make Me Loose International Job. Please Help by jikanbage: 10:03am On Jul 05, 2023
Emir8:
I don't know what to do again! I got an international job which will require me to work from Nigeria and I have submitted all other document but the company is not accepting my NIN Slip. They said it is one-faced Id and cannot be accepted.

I downloaded the NIMC App and tried to activate my account but no OTP is send to my mobile phone number.

I went to the NIMC state headquarter in the state I live and complained. They checked my email and phone number in their system and all are correct. They told me to keep on trying the App. I have been trying the App day and night and no OTP was send to activate my account.

I was asked to check if the plastic one is ready for collection. The web page (https://nimc.gov.ng/eid-card-issuance/) does not exist.

I tried to check the status of the plastic one if it is ready through their website - http://touch.nimc.gov.ng/ The page is no longer existing. Everything about NIMC is not working now.

I even make attempt to get driver's license, I was told it will take 60 days to be ready.

Please what will I do again. I don't want to loose this job. I have send messages to different emails in NIMC but no response. I have submitted the police clearance certificate containing my 10 fingerprints yesterday but they still insist I will not be assigned roles until national ID is provided and the documentation period deadline is Monday 10/07/2023

. I’m Confident of Winning - Jonathan
. Obasanjo, Tinubu, Others Deliver Wards
. Borno IDPs, Barracks Vote APC
. APC Wins in Aso Rock; VP Sambo Fails to
Deliver Ward
. Senator Goje Under House Arrest
General Muhammadu Buhari, the All Progressives
Congress presidential candidate, broke a jinx in
the South-West in yesterday’s presidential
election as he won in many constituencies,
leading to excitements among Lagosians.
Voters at Omole estate, Isheri Road, Ikeja, Lagos
were jubilating when APC won landslide in all
three elections - Presidency, Senate and the
House of Representatives.
The jubilant electorate were chanting - ‘Buhari for
Aso Rock; Jonathan for Otuoke’ obviously
satisfied with the outcome at the polls.
One Mrs Helen Oluwale said the Peoples
Democratic Party had taken them for a ride but
now, it’s payback time.
The voters, in their hundreds. stayed back up to
7:30pm when all results were counted and
announced.
The voters said they wanted change and they are
prepared to take it at the ballot.

as against PDP’s 24.
At polling unit 30, APC polled 41 votes while PDP

Foluke Daramola Salako, a popular Yoruba movies
actor and producer, who also voted at Omole said
it was a pleasant surprise to see middle and
upper class people come out to vote.
“Everybody came at about 8am and waiting till
about 8pm. That tells me everyone is interested in
the elections. Some want continuity and some
want change. Everything was peaceful and very
open. There wasn’t any violence and it’s
impressive. This shows we can do peaceful
elections and our destinies are in our hands,” she
said.
More than 2,000 people voted in Omole and APC
won in all the polling units.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu delivered his Sunday
Adigun polling unit Alausa, Ikeja to General
Buhari. In the polling unit, General Buhari polled
180 votes, with Jonathan coming a distant

Displaced persons, soldiers vote against

the APC. People from 16 out of the 27 local
government areas of Borno State cast their votes
in Maiduguri, where they are being camped since
they were dislodged from their homes by the Boko
Haram.
Camps visited by our correspondent where the
IDPs cast their votes, include the Teacher’s
Village along Pompomari Estate, NYSC camp,

College, Government College, Maiduguri, Bakkasi
Housing Estate and Women Teachers College
(WTC).
At the polling unit number 017, where displaced
Gwoza residents cast their votes, the APC scored

Jokes Etc“i Can Cookbetter Than Buhari’s Wife” – Patiencejonathan by jikanbage(op): 10:08am On Feb 08, 2015
Hilarious the headline might seem but wait till
you hear the full gist.
FNN has gathered that owning to recent news
that Buhari and Osinbajo now have their wives
with them on the campaign train, First Lady of
Nigeri – Dame Patience Jonathan and resorted
to conducting her own campaign for her
husband.
She claims if all the women and children in
Nigeria vote for her husband, then it is a sure bet
that her hubby is winning the elections.
We spoke to the First lady at the maiden
campaign rally that took place at the Federal
Capital territory yesterday and this was her
submission:
“My dear FNN people, I wanted to appreciate you
for this ability you have given me to say
something on this matter.
Yesterday of some day ago, I heard that the
Buhari team are now recruiting their wives for
campaign train hence me too have decide to
start campaign for my husband.
I have instructed all first lady of all states to
also start their husband campaign so that we
can all have a voice as woman of the country.
I know that since my husband has become
president, I have not cook for him at once but I
know I am a best cook when you bring Buhari’s
wife to cook too (I cook better than Buhari’s
wife).
Therefore, I promise all the Nigeria that if they
vote us back, I will cook everybody every month
for 4 years.
I hope that you people understand me very well
before they say I am speak grammar again
*laughs hysterically*
Thank you FNN people”
She made the above statement when FNN asked
her why she was running a campaign train
especially in the absence of President GEJ.

Politics21 Reps, 2 Senators Set To Dump PDP by jikanbage(op): 11:23pm On Nov 29, 2014

The
opposition
All
Progressives
Congress
(APC)
is
moving
closer
to
grab
the
majority
position
from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in
the House of Representatives, findings by Daily
Trust has revealed.
Investigation has revealed that about 21 PDP
lawmakers have notified the leadership of the
lower chamber of their intention to join the APC
in the coming days. Also, two senators are set to
dump the PDP.
The House, which reconvened for a special session
to consider emergency rule extension last week,
adjourned following the invasion of the
parliament building by the police and would
resume on December 3rd.
Last December, APC seized the majority position
from the PDP when 37 PDP Reps dumped the ruling
party.
However, the majority position of the APC was
short-lived after some of its members defected to
PDP amidst allegations of financial inducements
from the presidency.
In recent weeks, PDP Reps had threatened to
dump the party after their state governors edged
them out in the just concluded party ward
congresses which elected delegates that will vote
in the primary elections.
The party and the presidency had asked that the
lawmakers institute an impeachment against
Speaker Aminu Waziri Tambuwal after he defected
to the APC on October 28 but they told the PDP
national chairman Adamu Mu’azu that they must
be given automatic tickets in return.
Daily Trust findings however revealed that since
the PDP congress, not fewer than 22 lawmakers
have written to notify the leadership of their
decision to defect to the APC.
Deputy minority leader Suleiman Kawu Sumaila
(APC, Kano) confirmed the impending defection of
the PDP Reps and said they expect more to join
APC after the ruling party’s National Assembly
primary election in the coming days.
‘Defectors’
From Kaduna State, Reps Jagaba Adams Jagaba
and Isah Ashiru have already dumped the PDP,
while four of their colleagues from Bauchi State
have also notified the leadership of their
intention.
Two members from Akwa Ibom State including
Rep. Robinson Uwak are set to join APC and four
others from Kebbi State anytime soon.
“We are certain that after the primaries more
PDP members will join us in the APC,” Rep. Kawu
Sumaila said.
Sources in the Senate also said Senators Atiku
Bagudu from Kebbi State and Saidu Alkali from
Gombe State are also talking with parliamentary
opposition leaders ahead of their formal
defection.
Bagudu, sources said is defecting because of
misunderstanding with Governor Saidu Dakingari
over his return ticket, the same with Alkali who www.dailytrust.com.ng/daily/top-stories/40692-21-reps-2-senators-set-to-dump-pdp
lost out in the just concluded PDP congress.
