Hmmmm.....clearly his write up is to empower the traditional culture of his people. Not everyone who belongs to a tribe is verse in their dialect.

Nope. There was a dispute between the then fula rulers of the daura emirate and the Hausa rulers who set up kingdoms around it. The British sorted it by handing it over to a Hausa king and their bloodline remains at the helm of daura.

And BTW Argungu Kebbi and a bunch of other places I can't remember still have Hausa kings though so there are still a lot of hausa Emirates around though not as prominent.
