Whoever wrote this post, doesn't really know what happened.
Firstly, I'll like to correct some mistakes, the event didn't take place in Minna but in Bida another local government in Niger state.
Also, government officials were there when this destruction was going on but they refused to calm tension, instead they were guarding the zenith beside the FRSC office.
National orientation office wasn't touched neither was it even close to the office destroyed. I don't even think there's any office like that in Bida.
FRSC has been a pain in the neck for many people in that vicinity because of the way they man handle bike men and even motorist, I've been a victim of them, so trust me of what I'm saying. Unnecessary offense will be meted on you and you will be surprised, even soldiers around said, they deserve what they got because FRSC in Bida, has turned themselves to doing the work of VIO, Police, civil defense etc to the extent that they don't respect anyone except you gt money.
I am not saying what was done is right but I think they deserve what they got.
Both parties are lying about their report, both bikeman n passenger died. If FRSC said they didn't cause the death or accident so who did. Also the chairman, was lying if he actually made such statements because all the people at the burning or burnt office are all NUPE and Bida is dominated by NUPE

AYEEN for me was an experience. It put me on my feet to prepare effectively for the entreprenuial task ahead of me.

I went for the screening last year, I passed through series of them, and the regular "job interview line" followed (I believe you understand what I mean).

I never got funding or support, but at the same time, I'd be careful on whatever I'd say. All the same, I don't see myself applying for it again, not even in the nearest future. I have already gotten the experience, it has already put me on my feet.

For someone planning to register this year, I'd leave you to make your choice, but I'd say you shouldn't expect too much, don't put all hopes there.

Things I benefited from applying;
1. It made me increase my pace. The quest to meet up deadlines and also win, made me put in more work than I'd have done normally.

2. It made me register a limited liability company at a time I could have kept on with procrastination.

3. It made me come up with a concrete business plan and blueprint.

4. I was able to assess myself by myself on how far I've gone.

5. It prepared my mind towards other grants and their realities.

All the work I put in to win AYEEN Grant, was what formed the basis of my readiness and understanding, which I used to scale through in The Tony Elumelu Foundation's Entrepreneurship Grant.

Note: All the things mentioned above, are things I did personally without any aid or fund from AYEEN or any other party. The zeal to scale through in AYEEN was only the motivation behind the milestones.

My observation on grants in this part of the world; the realest of the all is Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme.

Last month I paid a return Visit to the mystical forest of Igbo Olodumare, Oke Igbo in Ondo state. I had earlier visited the previous month but got to the site late and could not see beyond certain places as it was evening already. So I made up my mind to go back, which I did.

I had read Fagunwa’s book and though I believe mystical beings exist, I was fascinated to know the village and the forest itself actually still exist. That was for sure something I wanted to explore.

Who reads the great Yoruba novelist Pa Daniel Fagunwa’s book ’’ogboju ode ninu igbo orunmila’’ translated to English by professor Wole Soyinka as "Forest of Daemons" and not marvel at the power of his narratives of folklores that were familiar to people. He breathes life to his characters which gives one’s imaginations a treat to wonder and wander at how creative and enchanting his works were.

His works centered mainly on descriptive narratives of demons, spirits, monsters, gods, magic, witchcrafts, and mysteries. Of interest, it is also worthy of note that his works largely teaches high moral levels and standard of living from the Yoruba perspective.

At the foot of the mountain to climb to the forest is the inscription that says "Oke Langbodo ree" that is this is the mountains called Langbodo.

What kind of country is this ,how can some people just decide that in a certain year its their turn to govern Nigeria? there are over 300 ethnic groups in Nigeria that have not tasted presidency ,so its not a guarantee that 2019 or 2023 a particular group will be allowed to produce presidency while others are not allowed, restricted or stay on the sideline and be looking,how possible will that be in this current complex Nigeria? if you want the presidency you have to work for it and convince majority of Nigerians that you are the right person or use your influence to get it.We are more than 300 tribes for God sake let stop this " the president must come from my tribe" its not healthy.
