Samsung uses a Snapdragon 835 CPU chipset with an Andreno 540 GPU which beats Mediatek Helio G80 found on the Infinix note 8. That's the honest truth. You can Google it for more clarification. In layman's term, Samsung S8plus is faster and can handle multitasking better than the Infinix note 8.

Camera wise, Samsung has a 12MP dual pixel camera which supports auto live focus and record 4k videos upto 30fps, not forgetting to mention that it's 8MP selfie camera supports upto 1440p.
You can download compartible GCAM for extremely better image quality.
GCAM will make your Samsung S8 look like it had 3/4 cameras. Lol! Especially with features like lens blur, astrophotography and more.
I've to be honest with you infinix note 8 48MP Quad camera is not worth comparing to Samsung's own albeit it's a single camera in terms of image quality and consistency in both the rear and selfie cameras. Even the video recording quality is inferior, 1080p is the best it can offer.
If you don't believe me you can check Samsung S8plus vs iPhone 7plus or Samsung S8plus vs iPhone 8plus or Samsung S8plus vs Google Pixel 2 camera comparison on YouTube and see how superior these phones are to Infinix note 8.

Screen quality, we don't need to talk about this do we? A 1440*3080 Super AMOLED Display vs 720*1640 IPS LCD Display. Samsung Forever in this case.

As for battery, this is the only area where Infinix shines in terms of battery size (Samsung S8plus 3500mah vs Infinix note 8 5000mah or so) and fast charging (Samsung S8plus 15W vs Infinix note 8 18W) though the Samsung will charge faster from 0-100% given the fact that it has 3500mah battery.

Samsung S8plus is one of the greatest Flagship phones to grace the Android segment 5 years ago while the Infinix note 8 is a Low-end midrange phone.
Also bear in mind that Samsung S8plus stopped at Android 9 while Infinix note 8 is on Android 10 I think.

So there you have it, I hope you'll make the choice that favours you the most.

To be honest, while the lineups may be messy to you, it's not messy to them.
That's why they're at the very top in terms of smartphone brands with the highest market share.

If you're the camera type, just simply download GCAM+Snapseed+Lightroom. My camera niggas Sabi this combo Wella.
If you're the the gaming type, surely you'd have to pick the Redmi 9T because it houses a Snapdragon 662 and by now most of us know that Snapdragon are well optimized for balanced gaming experience.

4gb ram is the standard in 2021 unless you're getting yourself a flagship bearing in mind that most flagship base model is usually 6-8gb or 8-12 ram.
The disappointing thing about this phone is the display, the thing no just make sense at all. All this phone needed was a 1080p Full HD display and Helio G80 chipset. No need of 90hz refresh rate.

Another thing to note here is the fact that the team behind this phone didn't try to better Infinix Hot 10, apart from the 90hz refresh rate there's no difference at all.

If you'd want to get any Transsion phone in spark 7's price range just get yourself Infinix note 8i, it uses G80 chipset.

These two are Chinese Devices. They are both mass produced in Peoples Republic of China. They both have the same build. The both have the same processor. They both have the same camera and screen. Although Transsion UI is slightly better than MiUI. Both interfaces look alike and act similarly. Both use the same packaging.
So why then is Xiaomi selling a so called budget phone for over400k. And the funniest thing is that the phone is very ugly. Nerosky bought one and I'm really pitying the money wasted. Something that could have been used to buy a cha cha infinix and kept more than half of the purchase price.
I will pick transsion for their affordable devices over Xiaomi.

I'm not a fanboy, but I can identify mediocrity when I see one. Transsion has a long way to go as far as Global Smartphone brands are concerned and Xiaomi is currently world's number 3.

Please go and check the all new MI 11 ultra. It sweeps the floor with S21 ultra, I'm not surprised though as Xiaomi is really seriously stepping up it's game in the Flagship smartphone segment.

Sadly enough though Transsion hasn't produced a phone rival both Xiaomi and Samsung's top Mid-range smartphones.
