Jivi: I dont have any art skill. So, I took this screenshot to demonstrate the expected level design. The environment is supposed to be like a village, city or town with a lot of buildings and pathways in between.

Bringing together all the Gameplay design idea's from everyone.
Goatie is expected to run from point A to point B. An Arrow on top of the screen will give him the shortest path to point B based on his current forward direction. However, he can decide to follow any other path and a new shortest path will be created. There is no wrong way. Also, he can decide to turn, in which case a mini-slow motion game involving pressing buttons to make moves will be involved to successfully cross the pursuing humans. He has to dodge obstacles with the button pressing game like jjk24 said. If he is unable to dodge, the humans will catch up with him and a slow motion game to escape will start again. He will be running by default but can control his direction dynamically(not like temple run). The gameplay programming will modify his directions to prevent him from impacting walls directly. At times, some of the humans(being smart) will take a short cut to get ahead of him. and he has to dodge and so on until he gets to his final destination. Also, the humans will throw stones at him. If he does not dodge, his life reduces and they probably catch up with him etc.
Also, Goatie can hit other humans going about their everyday life in the village in the escape process and probably destroy something of theirs and they would probably in anger join in the pursuit. Some others may randomly join and randomly leave but the core pursuers will remain.

Bulldog: dont know why kids like pulling on my tail, but i'm cool now Back to the matter, i think dueal has modelled the goat, there are many other things to model, like houses, humans, badass chickens, weapons, bulldogs etc... I have a house model(with no furnitures inside though). But another thing with many guys doing modelling is the compactibility of the modelling softwares - i use blender for 3d/anime studio for 2d. There should be uniformity of standard(every one exporting to the same format.). So that if we abandon the project, other people with the same idea will have a depository where they can select non copywrited models

Ok 1st mission again!- let's start gettin d facts rhyt!- goatie is sold - the buyer didn't tie goatie well enof or hold the rope - goatie sees this as an opportunity and starts runnining( all this in a cut scene)- Game begins- (have eni one played uncharted 2 or resident evil six instead of goatie runin away temple run style d camera culd b facing goatie and we see guys frm behind running to geht close 2 goatie with cut lasses some start throwing stones) - anoda fact is goatie @ 1st is standing normally lyk a goat buh when he start running he is on is feet!! - the player get to hold the run key and the downward direction since we r nt shwin d destination, jst mr goaties back view - players move left to rhyt 2 avoid stones and obstacles -then finally there is gonna be a kinda slw motion adrenaline mood where mr goatie gehts 2 jump and use is horns 2 break or knock crates wich he uses to block the path and done he as lost The humans!! - then to mission 2- he goes back to the farm 2 free the other animals -------------NOTE we can change enifin or add things to the missions enitime and also I tink this level is jst gonna take plc in a narrow path an alley( we culd sai the sellers r illegal sellers so they sell there goods in isolated places!!.)

I guess escaping the pursuers is the 1st mission, releasing other animals is the second!! We culd use this missions to teach the basics of the game to the players! The third is retriving gwon gwons bodie is the third! The third will lykly take plc @ a military camp and since the soldiers r busy tryin 2 cook gwon gwon we culd giv the players tools to play the mission in a stealthy way!! and its also gonna make more sense since mr goatie doesn't have that much weapons yet!! Buh after this mission player culd choose how they want to approach each mission!, buh I will lyk to add this to the story!! Mr goatie jst can't sai he wants to kill all humans is its only goal how about he is also finding is captured mate (female)!! this game is gonna be funny buh we culd let it be emotional too !, his mate might geht pregnant along the way or his mate might be alredi pregnant giving him the motivation to find her!! #cheers
