I believe you're exaggerating cause I've watched several battery tests on medium usage and you numbers are preposterous sorry to say

That’s how it is. Most people crank up the brightness to the highest for the tests and it drains batter faster.

Although, I made some battery saving processes on my phone like disabling background app refresh for apps I don’t use and disable background auto upload to iCloud and “Hey Siri” option which is constantly listening for “Hey siri” and draining battery unnecessarily.

You charged in-between nah, I've noticed that iphones count listening to music into their SOT.

I watched a battery test yesterday and the XR lasted 6:44 hrs which is actually not bad

Its the timezone am using, USA time zone and time so it kind of altered the perception. I usually charge my phone to 80% and unplug and I still get 11hrs+ without charging in between with low to medium usage. On heavy usage from 80% I get 9 hours.

Heavy gaming(PUBG Mobile, COD Mobile and Asphalt 9 all on high graphics with 60fps) on the device lasts 3hrs from 80%.

I know, bro.I just feel the whole iCloud stuff is still kind of restricted to iPhone. Getting your pictures, contacts and other stuff on another device ain't that straightforward. I know you can use iCloud on web, but you can't sycn them on-the-go on other devices that ain't in apple's ecosystem. Google's own is everywhere apple, Android, Chromebook. You have your files when you want it. You get my point, right?

No o, check the pic very well, its not I cloud but google sync, when you add your google account just like on android, you can enable contact, calendar , notes sync and so on. I don’t know maybe the feature was added in iOS 13 and above. For pics, you can just use google photos app and sync everything.

1. On Android, I can transfer files to every other device with Bluetooth except the iPhone. Do I really need to explain that? Even the xender on iPhone is so freaking limited.

2. Oh, tell that to a typical iPhone user wanting to make a switch to a new operating system. @bolded but you can save your contacts on Google drive; an Android device and get it on an apple device? You see what I'm saying. I could on and on about IOS and it's limitations; water tight OS. Like someone said, on apple, you're more of a user than an admin.

Bottom line is everything is much more easier with Android; It just works. I can't even use OTG on the iPhone. Again, Poor connectivity.

Actually its far more easier than that, just add your google account and your contact will be synced

Oh, I seriously thought it was fortnite. They both have this cartoonish style. Well, that's no excuse @bolded. I'm not about to go into the ancient argument of iPhone vs Android smoothness. I'm just talking about how Android apps have become smoother these days compared to wayback when they were filled with bugs and uninteresting UI. And why do I feel smoothness is relative. I might be wrong, but I feel iPhone users create this bias to justify the price. "Oh, wow. It's freaking smooth! Look at those animations and scrolling, damn!" I've used an iPhone for a short while and I didn't notice anything; I got bored.

True, everything just depends on personal preference, as a long time android user even with the iPhone am using, I still have a mid range xiaomi cos who wants to be in that enclosed and restricted ecosystem, It has its purpose tho, security, gaming, camera and others but speaking of extra features, tweaking and modded/custom apps, I use my android.

I don't know how you get stutters or lags on your s20+. Fornite on the iPhone 12 is not even as smooth as that of mi 10 ultra. I will find the YouTube video. The thing I noticed about iPhones are just the animations. Most people refer to this as smooth.

Look it up bro, check the difference, even if the phone has 120hz refresh rate, it still doesn’t change some game/app opening stutters within the os itself which is related to software and not hardware.

Its’s not fortnite, it was genshin impact, you can get 60fps and epic graphics in fortnite on iPhone as old as the 7+. The genshin impact game was not optimized for the a14 yet as its a new processor or the game company devs were just too lazy. The only android os i can regard as fast and smooth is the one plus oxygen os as the one plus 7pro was able to keep up and tie with the iPhone 11 pro in app launching speed and smoothness.

What am just saying is that as compared to the Nigeria price here, its not that expensive. Some android phones have some insane prices too like the Samsung galaxy fold thats around 2000$(900k+ on SLOT) and the google pixel flagships

No, smooth means no stutters in app opening speed and general usage which android does no matter the brand, thats just how the OS is, especially when opening games, the phone will stutter a bit, black screen and then show the app/game logo. iOS on the other hand, the moment you click the app, especially games, you’ll see the logo immediately.

Check my sig, I’ve used the s20+, s10+ and the Redmi note 9 pro.

A lot of comments I'm seeing here are just amusing. Well, people must base their opinions on experience or worse, 'what I heard'.
Thing is, I personally don't really like iOS. But as a power user and someone who hates bias I wouldn't mind using one. At all. You see, those of you saying iPhones have bad battery life are either using older-gen iPhones (iPhone 6-iPhone 8 Plus or even the new iPhone SE, which I only recommend to light user who likes the Apple way of doing things) or newer iPhones that have bad battery health.
There is a lot to like about iPhones. The build quality/fit and finish are amazing, only matched by Samsung, Huawei, Sony, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus, Asus, LG and many other flagships (and they don't all feel the same). Apple's color management on their displays is amazing, too. I once held my boss's iPhone 11 and the fit and finish was incredible. It seems one has to pay a lot for that experience. Reviewers have often said that holding a well crafted flagship phone makes you feel you are holding something special, like a Rolex. It may not seem like much, but for someone like me who has seen a lot of ugly-looking and cheap-feeling budget phones, it's like a revelation. iOS may seem boring (and it is) but it is a lot more refined than Android. Granted, it might not matter to you if you haven't used or seen it (afterall, ignorance is bliss, no?) but spend just a day and you will understand that soup wey sweet, well you know the rest. Truth is, to really appreciate the iPhone ecosystem you have to be somewhere like in the States, where everyone isn't running around looking for free basics, or data bonus, or 'abeg helep me on hotspot na' or even stable network, and Apple's and other services just work seamlessly. Otherwise,top-drawer iPhones will just be too expensive for someone like me to use and get the best out of. But if I could afford it without killing myself, hell, I'd grab the iPhone 13 Pro Max when it comes.

U spitting some facts bro, iPhone are not that expensive over there, its here in Nigeria that we take it as if its some big deal, if not for Nigeria Naira’s terrible exchange rate.

I'm referring to SOT you're talking about lasting a whole day, I once used my Redmi note 9s for 2days with 26% remaining but even at that my SOT was a little less than 9hrs because I was mostly just browsing within that 2 days time frame. Your XR won't give you 7hrs SOT on medium usage I'm very certain

I get 12+ hours constant sot on my xr with medium usage. He’s right, new generation iphones have very good batteries and don’t be fooled by the mah number you see online, they last longer or are even on par with androids with 4000mah batteries in usage.

The thing about android phones is that they just put big batteries in the phones like that with little to no battery optimization where as ios optimize their batteries which allows the phones to use most out of the battery without actually draining them quickly. You can confirm this by doing a battery test between a 3000mah samsung s10e and a 2815mah iphone 12 or 2658mah iphone xs, you’ll notice that the s10e will die before the rest of the iphones despite having the bigger battery.

Are they giving you stereo speakers and etc at 70K?

If you want a battery beast of 70K, you know where to get it, people that need the above mentioned features and more will spend way more than 70K

Just checked, it doesn’t take ios 13, in that case, disable background app refresh for apps u don’t use always and leave the one u use or disable it. Free basics works on my xr with no problems on safari app. Try typing “0.freebasics.com” in the search bar and make sure it’s either mtn or airtel sim cos it seems glo and etisalat doesn’t not support it.

The phone is just so frustrating, it doesn't even have browser, you can't send a photo to another phone via bluethoot. I'm just regretting why I went for it..I should have gone for Samsung S20

1. ios are great devices especially if you’re aiming for simplicity and security, your phone cannot be hacked easily and everything is way more secured than the open source android.

2. Apps work way better and are generally optimized for ios devices and everything runs really smooth.

3 Games run better and smoother on ios than android with most games having 60fps option and many other graphics enhancements while android does not have most times even the flagships, idk why as if the game companies are underestimating android devices.

4. About battery life, I’ll recommend you get the plus models if you really wanna see how strong iphones battery are, most plus models including the X, 11 and 12 series have very good battery life, you can see a low battery mah on paper but when you use it, you’ll see that the battery lasts long as a 4000+mah android phone.

5. ios now is not like before where you can’t download anything outside the app store including movies and media files generally, but now you can do that except for apps tho which is why I have a mid range android am using with my XR wink

6. And the camera and video recording ability is not to be joked with, its very good.
