For your information, the affected area is not a remote area of Niger state

It's in Suleja. Suleja shares boundaries with Abuja.

Large number of people living in Suleja works in abuja.

Health Deadly Diseases Outbreak In Suleja (pls Help) by jk200(op): 9:18am On Oct 23, 2025
I’m writing this with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes.
Something terrible is happening in my neighborhood here in Suleja, Niger State.

My next-door neighbor has lost two children in just three days.
The first child, 12 years old, died three days ago.
The second, only 7 years old, died last night. 💔

It started like normal sore throat and fever, but soon their necks began to swell, and they could barely breathe or swallow.
The parents rushed them to General Hospital Suleja, but the hospital rejected them, saying the case was beyond their control and that they should take the children back home.

Sadly, after they returned home, one of the children died that same night.

Now, the two remaining children in that same family are down with the same symptoms, and their condition is getting worse by the hour.
Everyone around is living in fear because this sickness, which is suspected to be DIPHTHERIA, spreads easily through air, cough, and close contact, especially among children who are not vaccinated.

💔 As if that’s not painful enough, the father of the children collapsed from shock and heartbreak after losing the second child.
Up till now, he has not regained consciousness
he’s still lying down from the emotional breakdown.
The entire community is in tears and confusion.

PLEASE, WE NEED URGENT HELP

This situation has gone beyond what our local hospital in Suleja can handle.
We are calling on the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and the Niger State Government to please come to our aid immediately.

We need:

Urgent medical help for the two surviving children

Proper testing and treatment
Vaccination for other children in the area

Please, if anyone reading this has direct contact with NCDC or any health authority, help us reach them fast.
We can’t just watch more children die.

pls help me to move it to front page moderator.

It's an emergency

PoliticsRe: Kano PDP Faction Joins NNPP by jk200: 1:46pm On Feb 20, 2023
PDP Made a grave mistake for allowing both kwakwaso and Obi to go out of the party. They will find it difficult to win Kano and jigawa.

APC shouldn't celebrate this news because it's going to be a big threat to them as a party.

Below is what northerners are doing to tinubu in the north presently.

AgricultureRe: Meet Reston Tedheke Ex-Militant, Who Is Ga'ate Farmer In Nasarawa by jk200: 3:43pm On Oct 18, 2019
Agriculture is bae but the only issue now is insecurity in the land. Fulani cows will come to farm overnight and destroyed almost half of the crops in a day.

Outside insecurity, agriculture is the current gold mine in Nigeria.

Nigeria government and poor handling of projects.

Which kind construction company use such tools to build a bridge ?

All i can see in the picture are just normal welders hired from their various workshop and they are dressed up in construction uniforms.

The project is not been handled by a serious construction company.

From their construction tools, you will know that it's just one quack construction company that gets the contract via padi padi things

Shame of FERMA, shame on kwara state government.

Don't make me doubt that you are not from there.
To start with, Ette is not contiguous to Benue nor Kogi state. Its in heart of Enugwu Ezike.
Their language is called Ekpotor by their neighbours. Ekpotor could be Idoma or Igala but I don't know whence my question.
You can doubt me but am full blood ette indigene. i can even give u my home address if you want it. ette is not far from Enugwu ezike and it shares border with kogi state. The late governor Audu of Kogi state has a house in ette. His mum is from igala speaking side of ette . Few years ago, there was a community clash in ette because some people wants to secede to Kogi state while some repel d idea. It leads to community clash.

Goodness001:
You said that you're from Ette?
I know that they speak Igbo and Ekpotor. Typically is Ekpotor Igala or Idoma?
THERE is no language like ekpotor in ette.

let me explain how the language is being spoken in ette.

Those that are close to full igbo town speaks igbo wawa nd those who dwell at d central part speaks idoma. Those close to igala people of kogi speaks igala.

Our own idoma is quiet different from the one that benue people speaks. Idoma language of benue people is quiet deeper than ours.

Which of the 3 languages is more spoken by all 3 groups?
Idoma is generally accepted in the whole town followed by igala n igbo.
CultureRe: Languages Spoken In Each Of The 36 States In Nigeria by jk200:
Homeboiy:
Op is a fool

Excluding Nsukka, Ezeagu, Nkanu in Enugu state

Which idoma and igala

OK because inyi people have boundaries with benue they now speak idoma or because okwutu and ete people near kogi mean say them they speak igala for enugu

Foolish compilation
Oga, am from ette igbo eze north LGA. of enugu state and we speak 3 different languages. Idoma, igala & igbo. My dad is from igbo speaking side of ette while my mum comes from idoma side. Ette has a very large land mass which makes there settlement to be scattered.

That's why hardly you will see an ette indigene who can't speak at least 2 languages.
