Danielnino00: Nigeria import doctors? Lol..
I hope it's not because of the story of the Chinese doctors currently in Nigeria that u are saying this ? It has already been clarified that the doctors are here by the invitation of the China civil engineering construction company (CCECC) to monitor their employees and the minister of health under the request of the Nigeria medical association has said that they (the Chinese ) won't be treating Nigeria coronavirus patients..
Instead of importing doctors,Nigeria actually export doctors... The US,UK and Canada is filled with Nigerian doctors . Im not talking about Chinese doctors |

edon21: Y didn't you respond to the Cuban South African comparism. Guess you are busted Hell no South African educational system are no where near America's. Nigerians go for the best cause they're made of stuff.
Nah the much professionals upset everybody. Eg the doctors. Do you know what it means to draft out more than 700 work spaces for Nigerian doctors at the expense of South African doctors? Don't lie, it pains .
Lies every where, South African universities don't make up the first six. Even if you're higher in rank, does it guarantee your student performance - I don't have to respond to it, South Africa has an agreement with Cuba as we also have Doctors working over there...... - I said our Universities are, and you just have to check their ranking to confirm that, also Nigerian study abroad because they don't have quality universities in Nigeria - If good Nigerian Doctors want to leave your sh1thole for a better life in SA then great, we will keep them as they are contributing to the growth of our country instead of yours ! - Yes, they make up the top six!!

MiddleDimension: who else is unimpressed with Nigeria's procurement pattern? buying not top notch hardwares, and buying them in paltry sums The VT4, SH5 and ST1 are imo top notch equipment, also due to budget constraints the days of buying vast amounts of units in a single go just isn't feasible anymore. |

edon21: South Africa import Cuban doctors right? What is the population of Cuba. Is South Africa not 3 x Cuban population; See, when we say you guys are lazy... We mean right into your bones.
You have best universities right n Why does the presence of Nigerian professionals upset you in South Africa. Also, are there no South African students abroad? Or is the south African education system better than America s? See... When students can't pass except if it's on a 30 percent grade scale... How do you expect them to pass entrance examinations to foreign institutions? Note... No South African university can or will ever beat a Nigerian university of like standard. Never
Ur second write up ain't clear. Go check it well -Yes w have the best Universities - The few Nigerian Professionals don't upset anyone, its just unfortunate that the vast majority of Nigerians in SA are criminals, those are the ones that upset everybody - Yes there are South Africans studying abroad just not a lot of them - SA Universities compare well to US Universities yes. - The pass rate to qualify for a degree at a SAn university is a minimum of 50% - 7 out of the 10 best Universities are South African including the top 6.....So yes, SA universities beat even the best Nigerian university - What wasn't clear? |

edon21: Don't be so dumb... 62 percent of Nigeria beats 95 percent of South Africas population in numbers. Doesn't it? If you like have 10 all universities top in Africa... The question is what are they producing, the capacity of graduates they produce. Of course, South Africa ranks better but looking at facts on ground, technology hubs, inventions and so, Nigeria beats South Africa. Google is at your disposal Why are South African students not abroad? If Nigerians can go to the USA and emerge their best students, how good do you rate them to your students . Again it doesn't matter where you study, brilliance is inborn, excellence is earned. Are there no South African students in America? What are they doing there?
How many South African doctors are in Nigeria. Infact how many indigenous doctors do you have, or are your students not smart enough to become doctors. It's a shame that you'll import doctors from a country you claim precedence over its education system.
The last one? ... Google is your friend - And? if SA had 200 million people then we would've had more people that can read and write! - They are producing great alumni hence why they are ranked that high! what do you think university rankings as based off? - South Africa ranks higher in innovation because it is more innovative......SA also ranks much much higher in technological development, so please bro!! how can Nigeria beat SA? - because they don't need to go abroad, they have some of the best Universities in the world at their doorstep, unlike Nigeria where your only choice for a good tertiary education is abroad. - Same question, why is Nigeria importing Doctors, aren't Nigerians smart enough? |

We also ordered 2 vehicles in total.
The actual contract for the JF-17 was signed in 1960, Lord Lugard witnessed it.

AskiaHarem: Stop putting words in my mouth. Using MRAPS and other heavy transport to patrol streets with the primary reason being quarantine overlooking is a waste of money since there more expensive to operate. The difference in operating cost is negligible at best! They were designed to be cheap to operate...........Also we don't have thousands of Hilux's....so in this case its much cheaper to operate mamba and casspir |

Look it up and tell us.
The remaining three majors are as important as the Masters. You or anyone else can't just cut them off to prop up your lies. I did admit that SA is second only to the US wrt amount of World Cup wins Secondly I know when they stopped being majors, Im simply stating that the Pre-Modern Era of Golf is not the same as the Modern Era of golf. But to make you feel better I'll change my statement to: SA has won more majors in the modern era of golf than any other country aside for the US! |

kabe1: You signed the contract in 2013.
No, Nigeria paid for Tucanos last year. 2019.
Deliveries would commence in 2021.
Nigeria paid for VT4 Tanks and IFVs last year, we have gotten them.
Nigeria completed payment for JF-17 last year, deliveries would commence this year.
Nigeria paid for Ezugwu MRAPs last year, 10 units have been delivered. Another contract was signed last year for 28 units.
Do deflect from the fact that you signed Badger contract in 2013 and you're expecting deliveries 9 years later. That's sad. - Nigeria signed the Tucano contract in 2017 and paid for it in 2018 - You ordered 17 vehicles in total, VT4,SH5 105mm and ST1 - The actual contract for your JF17 was signed years ago - The Ezugwe isn't an 8x8 IFV with several different variants The contract has been delayed by 36 months according to Denel.........regardless of when the contact was signed, the actual delivery was only supposed to have commenced from 2019. |

edon21: These are facts Nigeria has more literate people than South Africa Nigerian students have better performance records than South Africans thus Nigerians are brighter Tell me, why does South Africa import doctors again? Why are there more than 700 Nigerian doctors in South Africa? How many indigenous doctors do you have? Nigeria outsmarts South Africa in international competitions of every grade level Nigeria has more innovators than South Africa Nigeria is the most educated migrants in the usa Nigerians have multiple inventions In South Africa, blacks are the least educated Assessing quality of graduates, Nigeria beats South Africa hands down. - SA literacy rate 95% Nigeria 62% - Source? also 7 out of the top 10 university in Africa are South African - Why is Nigeria importing doctors? - Source? - According to the global innovation index South Africa ranks 63rd.......Nigeria ranks 114th - Yes because you local Universities don't cut it, hence they need to go abroad like the USA and South Africa to further their studies - SA has more inventions - Source? |

9 years after the contract for 238 units was signed. The first batch was supposed to be delivered in 2019 with the last batch in 2022. Also you bought 12 Tucano aircraft in 2017 and you are only receiving it in 2024 ........7 years for 12 Turboprops..........Thus I wouldn't throw stones!! |

kabe1: Well, you have to also take into account attrition of armoured vehicles in the service of the Nigerian army.
We bought 47 Reva APCs in 2015, how many are operational today. There's going to be a lot of wear and tear when you're at war.
That's not the same for South-Africa, were most of their APCs were used 40 years ago.
Take a look at their project to purchase 250 units of Badger IFVs, there is no movement on that and the project has stalled.
P.S , this is not a slight against South-Africa, I think the South-Africa army is doing it's best, but funds are not coming through. Stop spreading fake news........The project is not stalled, its simply delayed, instead of receiving the first batch in 2019 the SANDF is now only going to receive the first batch in 2022 Also the delay is no fault of the SANDF but rather the inability to preform from Denels part!! |

kabe1: I'm not talking about the specification of the vehicle.
The fact of the matter is the Casspir has been in service for more than 40 years.
You did not disprove that.
As for the Mamba, a vehicle that entered service in 1995 is not relatively new say.
A vehicle that entered service in 1995, that's 25 years ago is very old. Nothing relatively new about it.
All MRAP APCs that are built today offer very, very good protection against mines. Yes I know i didn't disprove that the Casspir has seen service for nearly 40 years, because i wasn't trying to!! I even agreed with you on that point The Mamba M3 entered service from 2006-2008, that's relatively new Also I said there isn't a vehicle on he market today that has better blast protection than the Casspir.......prove me wrong if you can! |
