Casham: Na wa o. You can't just blame everything on Buhari na. I know he's one of the worst things to happen to Nigeria, but we are really our own problem. Buhari said "IPOB" not "Igbos" are like a dot in a circle. People are twisting his words to mean whatever they want. Is IPOB a group or another name for Igbo people? Or do all Igbo people belong to the group. The Federal government says it is only after IPOB members, not Igbos. Stop shouting more than the bereaved. Anyways, wetin I know sef! But in same Statement, the FG said Ipob are all over the country doing business; a supposed proscribed group... You and I know it is the Igbos that are all over doing business |

Ekpeitit: CONTRIBUTIONS BY ZONES TO THE NIGERIAN ECONOMY:
NORTH: Solid minerals, cows, rice and other food products.
WEST:Big corporations, groundnut, cocoa and sea port for importation.
SOUTH SOUTH: Crude oil.
SOUTH EAST: Nothing. ( Depends on federal allocation which is earned from the resources of the other zones) Hahahaha. Why are Africans like this? You had to unite the whole north while doing nothing to the south.. You have to balance things up by say "North and South only" According to your geopolitical zone, I couldn't find north or west |

sweetshisha:

Indegeneous People Of Biafra IPOB isn't an ethnic group and doesn't mean Ibos, it's a proscribed group of seccesionist with their armed militia group called ESN
IPOB drew their map and territories they want Biafra to occupy, and Buhari mocked them that Nigerdelta Elites and leaders assured him that IPOB won't get a square foot of the ocean hence they are dot in a circle, land locked
The interview was plain and simple except you don't understand his English
. I expected an intriguing reply. But as usual, Africa will always be Africa According to that speech,Who are the people spread all over the country with businesses? Igbo or IPOB? |
Politics › Dot In A Circle; The True Intentions by Jman24(op): 11:53am On Jun 13, 2021*. Modified: 2:41pm On Jun 13, 2021 |
The purpose of this thread is to get the attention of the presidency to always review their speeches before they are made so that they are not misconstrued or even interpreted the way it appears.
Let us properly examine this message as Africans(at least we can make critical thinking if we choose to).
First sentence: IPOB is just like a dot in a circle
Third sentence: The way they are spread all over the country having businesses and properties...
Question 1. Who are the people spread over the country having businesses and properties? Igbo people or the proscribed IPOB?
2. Is the FG admitting that all Igbos are IPOB ?
Last sentence: we will organize the police and military to pursue them
Final Question Did the civil war really end ?

OnionBandit: The only thing that is right to these people is what favours them!
I have tried hard to like them but it's not working...and I think I am comfortable with the way I feel about them..cos they keep proving me right
Put honey in their mouth for 10 years to the detriment of others. In the eleventh year, put it in the mouth of others...and see how much noise they (dot in the circle) will fill the air with I keep re-echoring! I don't think anybody hates Igbo. It's actually a case of primitivity. Because I don't see anything new from what others have done in the past or what people in other continents do; Crying for justice and equity, which is a fundamental human right. |

Politics › Re: Why Are IPOB Threads So Popular? by Jman24(m): 5:59am On Jun 11, 2021 |
Cammo: Two reasons:
1) Hate for Igbos.
2) Excuse for and a means of diverting people's attention from Buhari's uselessness. It's no hate. I think it's primitivity. There are insinuations that some world powers wouldn't support the idea of Nigeria's balkanization, but they still welcome views, rallys and inscriptions about it overseas. |

finnacle2020: What do you mean by dabbling into politics. Jeremiah and samuel spoke to those in power during their time.
Was it not God that chose Saul to lead Isreal but what happened later, that same Saul was rejected by God. Mbaka told the world what he saw and when things changed he still spoke out.
Should Mbaka now keep quite in the face of what is going on simply because he saw the emergence of Buhari in 2015. Hmm. So this stuff means the religious folks don't even understand what's in thier good book? |
Politics › Re: There Will Be War If Anything Happens To Father Mbaka, Ohanaeze Youths Warn DSS by Jman24(m): 7:12am On Jun 08, 2021 |
Edygrin: When Bishop Kukah was being threatened some years ago, the Vatican released a statement and calmed the storm. The Vatican doesn't care about Mbaka because he was warned so may times to focus on his priesthood but he gave no heed to that. As I said, you reap what you sow I repeat. No body cares about Africa. When you say Vatican, you sound as if it is the pope that directly reacted. There are principal officers in the Vatican who might be friends with Bishop kukah, but that's not the point. Just stick to the violation of fundamental human rights I earlier highlighted. I don't wanna do this religious stuff |

Edygrin: I don't pity Mbaka at all. You always reap what you sow, you cannot plant melon and harvest rice.
Father Mbaka, you dug your own grave when you supported Buhari and tagged him "God sent". You should've kept quiet and mourn in peace like Tinubu and Osibanjo.
Now your reputation is gone, it's now Ohaneze that's fighting for you.
Father Mbaka is the only influential Catholic priest that can be whisked away by DSS and the Vatican doesn't care. That only happens when you leave your calling and start dining with evil politicians. Stop all these religious sentiments It is within his rights as a citizen to say (what you people call prophecy) " this is the chosen one". It is also within his rights to criticize if he feels his 'pick' has deviated from expected goals. As per Vatican doesn't care; ..no body cares about Africa but for her resources. |
