Don't forget test questions were simple but not really simple. During application CV was left out for GTs but now they are not making it clear whether or not GTs should come along with CV. Think about it and give a yes or no answer instead of attack me.

We have been hearing from some quarters that the NNPC makes use of quota system in order to make sure all states are well represented in the Corporation. Due to this, a candidate in education advantage states might be qualified and not picked if he/she is competing with more and better brains from his state or possibly his/her local govt, while an average candidate might get employed in education disadvantage areas.

Because of this, I created this pool so that everyone will know at least numbers of people competing against from his/her state (nairaland is home to most of the candidates so it will be fair to get something close to actual figures).

A source- a friend that works in NNPC, who was even the person that informed me that invites have been sent out, told me that an internal mail was sent notifying the employees that the interview process is slated for 28 of June to 12th of July... (any full employee of NNPC should have gotten this mail also), no longer than 12th of July...
so I really don't get where other people are getting their info from about it been in batches Or lasting till the end of July...
I don't know the criteria for selection, I don't know if mails are still going to be sent.... But will advice everyone to just stay positive and hope for the best, whatever the outcome, just keep trusting God for His better plans for you....

I think the interview is going to be in batches..coz if you check the 2011 thread interviews started first week of July and ended 17th August for 4900 invitees for which 44000 people sat for the exams ..so I dont think ours will be conducted for two weeks..until there is an official statement to indicate otherwise I urge all hopefuls to be patient and keep faith.. Good luck guys..

My broda, if you are talking about considerations ahead, it is even much more complicated for me coz my current monthly salary is N2,527,655 (based on N400 per euro) though a tenured position that may not end before NNPC resumption schedule for new hires, neither will NNPC offer me half of that. I am keeping my fingers crossed to see what exactly is in the NNPC offer letter, which should come in handy because I usually find interview more easier for me to nail than Aptitude test! I have been out of school for a long time (14 years now), and I did not study any material for the nnpc aptitude test for 1 minute due to my busy workload, which is why I was super happy at my performance at the Test.

You are already balling, why not leave this job for the less privileged?

I just checked the portal and discovered that my date was scheduled for 28th May, 2019. (Today, in new karu!!!!!!!!). I called their customer care on 096081927, the customer care representative in respect of NNPC recruitment and she confirmed to me that i should wait for the email that the exam is on 2nd JUNE 2019 and it is being sent in batches, that also as long as i was invited for the first one the second letter would come. The exam date remain unchanged, let us be careful so as not to be rushing out and making spontaneous decision.

2nd June is Sunday, will test be written on Sunday?

Check your exam status, when it shows only the courses you are meant to write, then they have effected it.

Everybody knows the days of the exams don't change. Neither do the timing of each papers. The only things that change are the dates where those days fall in. Check the new syllabus and you will see the exam time table ican will be working with from November onwards.

If you check the November 2019 exam time table, you will notice pm and tax are slated to be written at the same time (9am - 12.15pm on Wednesday) . So how do one reconcile that?

Going by that, I don't think it's possible to write all 6papers in the old skill level this November.
