Has anyone been able to get a refund from TLS on value added services that was paid for but not delivered?
Travel / Re: Priority Visa Refund, Did TLS Scam Us? by jobinto: 1:21pm On Mar 20, 2022
This thread should be on the front page by now. It’s been four months
Travel / Re: TLS Refund by jobinto: 1:16pm On Mar 20, 2022
@Justwise is it not yet time to bring this issue the needed attention it deserves by bringing it the front page. It’s been three months now yet no response on our priority refund.

Has anyone been able to get a priority and super priority services refund from TLS?

I’m in the same situation, any luck?
olutimehindare:
Please anyone with similar situations or number i can call. Tls asked us to request for a refund of priority visa since last year December and series of emails sent, no response from them. Please anyone know any way out of this
Travel / Re: TLS Refund by jobinto: 10:30pm On Mar 08, 2022
And I have mailed UKVI refunds, no response too
Travel / TLS Refund by jobinto: 10:24pm On Mar 08, 2022
It's been three months since TLS asked us to apply for a refund for those of us that paid for priority and high-priority added services that weren't delivered and till today nothing have been heard from them. This is theft, how multinational organization decided to steal it's customers money is beyond shocking and embarrassing. People keep sending me PMs, asking me if I have received my refund, the answer is no. I still haven't heard back from them and I think they have stolen our money. We need to collectively find another way for putting pressure on them to refund us, I'm thinking of involving the consumer protection agency in my next mails them and going to twitter to generate awareness and embarrass them.
Travel / Re: Priority Visa Refund, Did TLS Scam Us? by jobinto: 9:13pm On Mar 08, 2022
They are not being sincere, these people have stolen our money in broad daylight, I have emailed everyone including UKVI and still nothing. They are thieves, try and initiate a cash back with your bank if they have the death, it might take at least 60-90 days for them to retrieve the money for. TLD are nothing but thieves
Iferewaju:
Do we have anybody who has been refunded so far?
I applied ending of December... Its over 8weeks...

This is d message I got after filling form..

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for providing your feedback on the services you have received.
One of our Contact Center specialists has provided you a reply about your feedback and the associated inquiry is now closed.
For any new feedback, we invite you to fill a new Online Form directly from our website www.tlscontact.com.
Travel / Re: Priority Visa Refund, Did TLS Scam Us? by jobinto: 3:06pm On Feb 25, 2022
it's an added service so they can put your application on top of the queue of the applications they are sending to UKVI. They have other added services that render like walk-ins, assisted uploading of docs, premium lounge if you don't want to queue.
I already mailed UKVI refund, still nothing from them. A friend of mine was able to get his by initiating a cashback with his bank in January, he got refunded last week, cashback normally takes btw 50-60 days when initiated by the bank. He paid from his UK, so it was easy to request for a cashback after he didn't hear back from them
justwise:

How is that possible? You applied for visa and paid for express visa processing and the TLS takes the fees even as they don't process the application? TLS has nothing to do with your visa application and processing, they are sub-contract by many embassies to collect and return visa applications
Travel / Re: Priority Visa Refund, Did TLS Scam Us? by jobinto: 2:59pm On Feb 25, 2022
Check their website, they have a refund link, fill it, they will send you a mail in three days with a rebate form for you to fill, fill it and wait. I did mine since December and till now, no update, they are not even responding to mails.
ijebubabe:
I completely agree with you.

I'm also in the same boat.

How did you go about requesting a refund?

Travel / Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by jobinto: 3:10pm On Feb 16, 2022
Okay.
I'm not in Nigeria or else I would have gone there to get an explanation. It's about them not even bothering to respond to people’s enquiries for two whole months that's pissing me off and the fact that they can't do that here. I have asked a lot of people that applied that same period they are all getting the same treatment .
Aprokodaughter:

It's okay I understand but sometimes we have to control our anger so people can help.

If you are still in Nigeria you can go to TLS office to ask how you can go about it or if there is a different email to contact them on such issue or call them.
Travel / Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by jobinto: 3:02pm On Feb 16, 2022
TLS said asked us apply through them, they gave us their refund email address, we mailed them, they responded with a form to fill all your details for the refund including your account details, we did and they haven't replied again since first week of December last year, if you mail them, they send another refund form to fill and after a week they send you another mail that a customer agent has spoken to you and thus your enquiry is closed when no one has spoken to you. It's not the same as the post office analogy, the a post office don't ask you to apply for your refund through them, send you forms to fill and then claim every day that they have responded to your enquiries anytime you ask them for a status update when they wouldnt been assed enough to respond.
justwise:

You will not get that money back if you keep sending emails to TLS, you did not pay to them, this is like paying money to Royal Mail through the post office and when the service was not delivered you keep sending emails to post office requesting for refund.

UKVI has your money and not TLS.

Nigerians including myself are docile that's why the country is bleeped and y'all have to run away? It is not an insult, it is a statement of fact. My first post had nothing to do with Nigerians, it was when I started getting attacked for bringing attention to the fact that a multinational company has refused to refund money it took from thousands of Nigerian and still don't have the courtesy to even reply their messages that I even brought Nigerians into it, I'm sure you pretended not to see the bad faith questions I got earlier.
Aprokodaughter:

Your posts was not about just TLS but to insult Nigerians.

Did you not say Nigerians are docile?

Did you not write that Nigerians come from no where and tell you to shut or that they speak from both sides of the mouth. When they asked you a question.

Did you not use swearing words.

Abi you did not know when you typed?

Let me just pass before you insult me again.

Since you have got it all figured out why don't you go to their office and complain. Instead of insulting people.

And they should be the ones communicating with people because they act on behalf of UKVI, they are the ones sending rebates forms for people to fill for a refund , so why can't they respond on the status of the refund instead of sending an automated message and then after a week or so, they will send another automated message that an agent has responded and then close the enquiry even though no one spoke to you about anything. How is this fraudulent behavior ok?
TheGuyFromHR:

TLS is acting on behalf of UKVI.

I have been getting such customer service since I relocated, that's why I keep making these posts about TLS refusal and ignoring mails, it is too disrespectful to the applicants, I have had service providers here process refund for a service that wasn't rendered with apologies, they can't just disappear with people’s money and not communicate with them for two whole months, it can't happen here. And the only thing I have done is to try bring attention to this because it's not okay. We used to being shat upon and when you complain, the other folks being shat upon with you will tell you you are making noise. Nigerians are weird man
Chreze:

Sad and Angry, yeah, anyone in your shoe will be that way. And yes you are right about possibly not treating their customers on this end that way. I once ordered for an item from Zara and after getting delivery date, I got a payment refund to my bank from same Zara, checked my mail and saw that the ordered item was out of stock so they refunded the amount immediately since services can’t be delivered.

But before you let your anger grow to others, be sure to check the announcement TLS made about refunding those who made payment for the said non-functioning services. If the announcement said “amount will be refunded” without stating time or date of the refund, then you have no option but to wait. That’s an open ended statement used by most organization to avert accusation of delay.

Also note that no one can help you. Not even the Nigerian government as they are more about what they get than fighting for the right of its citizen. These people won’t do this to other top countries. They take Nigerians for granted because Nigerian government take Nigerians for granted. You just have to be patient. Only alternative will be if the people involved start to drag them on social space. But again, before you start that, check the announcement to be sure it’s not open ended statement of refund.

Pele.

Err It stopped working the first week of December after the UK govt added Nigeria to the red list.
Advise me as per how? Bully in what form? I genuinely don't get what you are talking about, maybe you quoted the wrong post. My post is about TLS refusing to refund or even respond to mails of applicants that paid for priority and super priority services, don't get where you got these things you are referring to from.
Aprokodaughter:

How come you guys paid for this option when it has not working since last year October or so. I know the student thread has been complaining. I did not know some of you still paid.

You want people to advice you yet you are throwing words. If someone responds the same level like you just did; you start screaming bullying.
Travel / Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by jobinto: 10:18am On Feb 16, 2022
A multinational company, takes money for a service from customers, fails to deliver the service, advises the customers to apply for a refund, customers do that and for two months they haven't gotten the refund and when they send mails to the multinational company, they get no response. They don't even have to courtesy to respond to enquiries on the status of the refund.
Aggrieved customer complains online , guess what? A Nigerian comes out from God knows where and asks him to shut up. We Nigerians are weird bunch.

Yeah, responded like a truly docile Nigerian. You are making excuses for people that took hundreds of thousands of pounds from us, failed to render a service we paid for, promised a refund and has refused to even give us the courtesy of responding to our emails inquiring about the status of refund for wait for it, TWO FUVKING MONTHS! What the hell does the race card mean? TLS operates in the UK and they won't dare do this to their UK customers. It's people like you that pervades the Nigerian space gutting it from the insides.
JustAPasserBy:

You mean you have asked people who (like you) actually paid?

Biko how did you arrive at that figure? Hundred if not thousands.

Playing the race (Nigerian) card huh?

I would advise that you be patient. And wait for
Your refund.

Nigerians are extremely docile people, it's been more than two months since TLS canceled priority services and asked all the people that have already paid for those services to request for a refund, I have asked around, there's no single soul that have been refunded, we are talking about hundreds if not thousands of people that paid a minimum of £220 for a priority service that wasn't rendered, some paid higher for super priority, TLS is not even bothered to reply to people's inquiries on when they are going to receive their money. Can they treat their UK customers like this? Or they are doing this because it is Nigerians and we are docile, this money from a rough estimate should be running into hundreds of thousands of pounds and they simply refused to give them back to the owners and won't even be assed enough to respond to your mails, it is disrespectful that you only get an automated message anything to try to enquire about your refund.
Travel / Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by jobinto: 9:01am On Feb 16, 2022
Please Is there anyone here that has received a refund from TLS for priority, high priority and super-priority services that weren't rendered?
Travel / Re: Priority Visa Refund, Did TLS Scam Us? by jobinto: 3:05pm On Feb 11, 2022
I thought UKVI takes the application fees but the other services you pay for goes to TLS, I stand to be corrected tho. These are other services that are optional that TLS offers to applicants.
justwise:

TLS do not process visa applications, UKVI does and the money you paid is for faster visa processing. TLS is like the embassy post office that handle visa application submission. The money goes to UKVI
Travel / Re: Priority Visa Refund, Did TLS Scam Us? by jobinto: 12:48pm On Feb 05, 2022
Does anyone have their contact number? I have been searching online and their Abuja centre has almost zero information on the internet.
Travel / Re: Priority Visa Refund, Did TLS Scam Us? by jobinto: 12:15pm On Feb 05, 2022
I might be wrong but I don’t think it’s UKVI that is supposed to refund us, it is TLS contact that sold those services, tens of thousands of people paid for both priority, high priority and superiority services that weren’t rendered, and it is been two months since then, and we are yet to get any form of reasonable response from them. Another problem is they don’t respond to mails at all, I have been sending mails for two months now.
justwise:
It takes time to get a refund from UKIV unfortunately, it takes at least 6 weeks in most cases. You will get your money back definitely but the process is frustrating.

@Justwise This is an important thread that deserves be put on the front page, there are literally thousands of us who have applied for this refund for months and have been largely ignored by TLS contact.
Travel / Priority Visa Refund, Did TLS Scam Us? by jobinto: 10:22pm On Feb 04, 2022
It’s been more than two months now since TLS suspended the priority and super priority visa application services, and advised everyone that already paid for the service to apply for a refund, lots of people I know both on NL and off NL have applied since then and haven’t gotten their refunds or any meaningful response till now. I personally have sent them reminder mail up to 200 times all to no avail.
The worst part is they don’t even bother to respond, sometimes I wonder if we have been scammed. Do we the affected applicants need to call them out publicly on social media before we can get a response.

If I get a return ticket today, is it possible to get PTA before Thursday because that's when I will be leaving
Ebalafaa:

As per the bolded, I add that it also depends on the conditions attached to your ticket. Some tickets may be valid for a shorter period.
Travel / Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 6 by jobinto: 5:46am On Jan 08, 2022
Yea, lots of people take decisions from other people's experiences they post here, don't just come and post what you haven't experienced so people don't make costly mistakes
Ebalafaa:

Not sure that person had actually purchased PTA that way. I believe he/ she was advising based on CBN's directives which Banks don't necessarily adhere to.
I went to 3 different banks to ask if I could use a one way ticket and my student visa to get PTA and they all said NO. So I was forced to buy a return ticket just so that I could get PTA. When I calculated the cost of changing at black market vs buying a return ticket, it made more economic sense to buy a return ticket. The good thing is one can use the ticket up to one year after purchase.

I really would advise anyone that wants PTA to just buy a return ticket.

The approval shouldn't be more than a day right?
MercyJJC:
Successfully submitted for PTA with GTBank today. Waiting for approval.

The process is not funny at all because when I started the site was reading payment for school fees despite ticking for PTA. Eventually, it brought out the form for PTA and it became easy and straight forward.

Basically you need your Visa, passport data page, and a return ticket.

My bank insisted I attached them by myself. Why they access it on the CBN platform.
