I also feel that was what undid us against Man u. Immediately after the equaliser, Arteta was pushing for a win and we could see the higher line which exposed us. If we'd just controlled that game and play our normal dominance, the chance would have just come naturally and who knows, we would have won 2-1.

The difference in readiness between him and Viera is that Viera have that exposure in UCL and Portuguese league as a starter in Porto while Marquinhos haven't had much top flight experience even in Brazil.
