The issue is that we were overwhelmed in the 2nd half and even when our midfielders where passing back for we to recycle, once there's small pressure, Holding will budey it inside.

One thing is that defending is not only by clearance and blocks, sometimes its by being with possession and preventing the opponents from holding the ball. Prevention is always better than cure.

While Saliba is great in both aspects, Holding was susceptible in the 2nd and Liverpool where happy to pressure us with the loose balls.

Klopp is a master of reading games esp after half time. This season might be poor for him but today he showed it that he and Anfield still had it in him

Holding was Terrific today in defending but we really suffered anytime we need to pass ball from the back. He's mostly nodding the ball inside or clearing it straight to their defence (or even if it's deep midfield, Liverpool would win the second balls) and this makes Liverpool always coming back to haunt us with pressure.

I know Zinny was being exploited but the tactics made was Gab was to Man Mark Salah and he was doing it well.
