DeeScan: Pires point was situated on both dribbling prowress and that's why he used the word *imaginative" .
I might not watch saka that much but one thing is fact .. doku is imaginative and creative with dribbling than saka .. saka is pretty basic when it comes to dribbling .. He does the same thing over and over using one style hence he gets easily predicted.. but for players like doku, leao, vinicius .. if you get their style, them go use another tske dribble you ..
But it's no news that saka is way better at other things required in football but when it comes to dribbling.. Doku pass am oo which is the point is trying to get at.. Just scroll a page back and you'll see the question and answer interview. I posted it here. It seems you didn't read the screenshot I sent reason why you're still talking like this |

Shegzdave: Using Doku that Ben White a defender nutmeg everytime was very low of him and saying he doesn’t step up in big games like it’s not Same Saka that try to make something in big games that we all see
Sometimes, some of them just want to say something in those podcast just they could sound intelligent but ended up sounding foolish like the other one that said he should be tried in the LB role. Sometimes it’s better to close that mouth and be assumed intelligent than to open it and clear all doubt like this man just did
I trust My guy who doesn’t gives a shit about those comparison to shut them up Everytime. Lol, every top 6 team defender deh hold Doku sef without sweat not to talk of Ben White. Na when him catch dem Sheffield and Luton him chakra go high I don't just understand most of this pundits especially when it comes to some of our legends. The one in Bolded is from Wright and that one still dey shock me till now and now this from Pires? All other team's legend dey prop their starboys, e reach our own, our legends come deh do one kinda talk. It's shocking honestly coming from him even though it's his opinion. |

I guess Pires trusted his new plug too well to say trash when he is high, cus what's this He even said Saka doesn't step up in big games nah!! Nikaa was phuking high. Like EVERYTHING he said doesn't make sense. EVERYTHING. I was trying to look for positives in that his quote and I didn't see any. Then he compounded it more by bringing Doku into the situation. DeeScan: i do know .. but I'm looking at the fact that Torres is well behaved and doesnt bite opponent players when provoked which could cost us matches.
Imagine Suarez in this era of var and giving out match bans like water .. how many match bans you think Suarez go collect if him go billte pesin nw ..
In terms of goal scoring and skill, they look the same too me .. ATleast Liverpool version of torres did.. Well, they were not in Var era so you won't use that to judge Suarez. Also, I don't know how many matches Suarez costed you guys due to provocation. The only lengthy ban was when he racially abused Evra and when he came back, it was a banger(one of the best ever season by an individual). I mean, this guy hardly get red card or bans Suarez carried an average Liverpool side to almost winning the league. Torres tho great had a great supporting cast (prime Gerrard, Alonso, Masche). Suarez na boss. Like real boss!!! |

Nobody wey dem no deh compare to saka tbh. But that's not even my worry about the matter. My concern is that it's a legend of Arsenal saying such a thing and not another person. Worst part, using Doku as comparison. Like Doku?? Ahhh!! I wouldn't have batted an eyelid if it's a Spurs or City legend that said such a thing. |

And in terms of biting "skills", has he done it in his Liverpool career? I'll choose Suarez 10 times over and over when pitted against Torres. He's probably referring to another Saka and not the one that plays for arsenal. Why will anyone even say Doku is a better winger? Is it about goals, assists, pre-assists?
Pires must really love shakushaku for him to pick Doku ahead of Saka when rating wingers Sha.
He's talking about big games as if we've not seen Saka play excellently well in the Euros, World cup and even against top teams in the EPL.

Upper summer kna arsenal spend pass o Any top 4 team in the wilderness needs to make top 4 first before thinking of league. Check out all the patterns of previous years it happens with the only anomaly being Leicester. Even Man city when newly bought by Arabs didn't start competing for league. daveP: 1st of all, using Haaland in this is not even close an example. Does he do anything else asides his 9 role?
Let's be factual. We know he inverted. Analysis this season proves his primary duty is lacking compared to his inverted duties which he flourishes in. That doesn't make him a natural LB. That's why every commentator acknowledges that fact that Tierney is a natural LB as he does much better defending than Zinch. This is not news.
That only 2 were nominees just shows how odd this TOTs is, with all those dangerous omission.
Lb on paper Inverted player in reality
Same for Trent. Lol... He's Lb (whether inverted or not). All these inverted, outverted, insider or outsider is just coach's tactics which varies. Even against West Ham, Tierney still played the inverted role(drifting inside to orchestrate play). Shouldn't that tell you it's coach's tactics? |

daveP: I understand the winning mentality totally. But when you're not at your best, that alone impacts whatever plans you have. Osimhen absence alone made Napoli look like relegation team despite having same setup. You can't win all. You cant do that all season with a squad without a depth like City or Madrid. So it is just common sense. Yes we are top but we cant pretend injuries haven't affected our stride.
How the manager responds to such in emergency situations, adaptability and etc will reflect his maturity.
Once again, despite all of that, individual mistakes cost us 4 points in 2 games. One was foolishness by our manager. Lacking Respect for the person of Salah. And then carelessness in Westham game.
It makes it look like we can never handle pressure off the ball, which is shocking considering how we easily recover possession early on in the season. So what is happening.?
Fatigue definitely. Well, you made valid points. I don't think it's fatigue tho. Hopefully, we'll get back to form. We need to |

Instead of moving in a straight line and making accurate cross. By so doing, he's killing the rhythm of the attack and causing the opposing side to return in time to defend Well, he's inswinging crosses aren't that bad sha and it caused our 2nd goal against West Ham |

But do you think we would have drawn that game if Saliba was present? High chances are we won't but then we would never know. The only big issue I have with Holding is his penchant for budeying the ball under any small pressure. |

Drone17: There's a way it affects especially in the decision making process. A wrong decision with movement can make another player to make a error. So while he is not the direct person involved, his poor decision or movement may have led to the error. Also the positive energy or calming influence a player brings may mean winning the three points like in the case of Zinchenko Vs Tierney.
Generally, defensive partnerships are usually given more preference ahead of individual brilliance. I'm not against defensive partnership and I understand how it's very very important for team's stability and success. But in Saturday's draw, one of the least culpable is Holding(I don't see any poor movement or decision that led to any error either directly or indirectly). Yes, he might budey the ball out due to his quality (or lack of) in keeping ball under pressure but the main issue started from the midfield when they lost their cool immediately we conceded the first goal. Partey was playing nonsense, Xhaka followed suit, Odegaard was not at his best and we were just under undue pressure. If only we had maintained and dominated that game wen we went 2 goal up and not become overconfident we would have won that game same way we did against Crystal Palace and Leeds |

daveP: Na our Phil Jones. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 But i think it's too convenient making him the top villian in the last two games. He did okay vs Westham imo. Na Liverpool game he mess up gaan. But Zinch messed up the most and Arteta too by disrespecting Salah and Trent. That's tactical ineptitude. The team fell apart after that 1st pk. Arteta should have done some pep talk during a moment. He was barely vocal on the touchline.
Jamie Carragher was accurate about his talk on us
"If Anything is going to wrong towards the title race, it is definitely going to be Arsenal totally causing it, not their opponents doing anything outstanding on the pitch."
Paraphrasing
Two games we are leading 2-0 and we bottle it?
I can't even remember Arteta respecting some teams sef like here, play for a draw. Let them have the ball and just counter. We have over 30 different 90mins worth of clips for opponents to analyze and start figuring out our weaknesses so well and efficiently.
Guess what? It didn't really work. We rather messed up. There's something that Arteta said in the all or nothing video(Aon— arsenal). He said that he'll rather play for a win when a win is possible than to settle for a draw and I fully agree with him. Leaving the ball for teams and expecting us to always counter is attribute of a small team. We were forced to do that against Liverpool and we found out how Ramsdale made us not to carry basket go house. Thank goodness we didn't carry that mentality to Spurs home or Stamford bridge earlier this season. Maybe we would have been below Man city by now instead of above. Sometimes, I just feel we're overly critical of Arteta and his tactics that we don't want to even see the bigger picture. |

Make up the rest. That CB pairing have ensured we stayed at the top for way tooo long in this campaign. Seperate them and it becomes a problem. Meaning they deserve a spot together.
I don't see Zinch as an LB. I dunno why he was chosen there.

Abi e get another position where Zinny don play for us this season aside Lb? I can't even do any stupid first 11. The omission of both Xhaka, White and Partey just spoilt everything. iamoyindamola: I think after this season holding should go abeg I can’t begin to think of how last season happened after injury to a defender and holding had to step in The thing with Holding Is that he didn't do anything wrong (or spectacularly wrong) for him to be blamed but there's a feeling that with Saliba, we would have probably won both matches. I won't really blame Holding for our dropped points esp against West Ham. In fact against West Ham, he's one of the last people I'll really blame |
