Famzyactivity: I did upfront medical during my application and it's been updated to medical passed . Does it mean Good news? Please ignore my previous advise of telling you start booking your flight now... However, nothing is impossible with God, you can still claim your approval and book your flight in the Spirit realm as u back it up with prayer for God's favour. Apologies once again and wish u success in advance. |

Blessed day to you friends. Please how do i message CIC concerning delayed application processing. When i applied the processing time read 6 weeks but it will be 9 weeks waiting time by tomorrow. I am thinking of sending them a message by next week. Please, has anyone done this before? Was there a reply and what was the aftermath?
Hope sending them a message will not give the impression that i am over-desperate or ambitious and result to hasty/ill-favoured decision. Please your candid advise will be highly appreciated. |

GoldenBalls: doing a medical upfront and getting an update of "passed" isn't a guarantee for SP approval but until after your background check meets eligibility before "approval"
but in the case of "no medical upfront," If you get this kind of message "medical passed" then you stand a chance of getting an approval
Don't book a flight just yet, book a fasting and praying appointment with God I did not read between the lines... Correction noted with thanks. |

deboskie: This response of yours is not accurate. The person said he did upfront medical. It is only when you get a medical request and your account is updated to medical passed after submitting your medical test that you can say an application is near approval but if it is an upfront medical an applicant submitted along with his/her application it is normal to get medical passed update which does not implies the application is near approval. It can actually go either way, it could be an approval or denial in the end depending on other factors to be considered by the VO. I did not read between the lines... Correction noted with thanks. |

Since Apr 13th only biometrics shows completed, 9 weeks counting. Delay is very dangerous and could kill faster than Ebola self. Abegi... me don tire to dey wait jo. |

Mrsecman: Hello Seniors,
I just checked my CIC account again today, and saw that "They're reviewing the results of my medical exam"
Please note, I didn't do any upfront medical. I only uploaded medical request form.
Basically, eligibility, medical and background check now under review.
Is this normal?
Find attached picture to understand me better.
Thanks in anticipation. Others are normal only Medical result which ought to read 'You do not need a medical exam, we will send you a message if this changes' Are you sure you didn't do upfront medical? Cos the information there is strange |

uyplus: Visa denied! I need to reapply!
I don't have a travel history. I submitted financials in excess of the school's amount, drafted a good SOP, submitted all the IMM forms, did upfront medicals, submitted landed documents in my name. How do I tackle this please?
Applied for a one year Masters of Public health at University of Western Ontario. I had some huge funds hit my account at around the time I applied because I sell cars on side and I failed to include a letter of explanation for the source of funds! Sorry about that... It will end in smiles and praise. Please when did you apply, Paper route or online and when denied? |

Maxihyfr: U r lucky.. I believe some applied april and still nothing yet.. I applied April 13th yet nothing yet apart from Biometrics showing "Completed". I think these VOs give more priority to paper route than online application which implies they encourage Nigerians to apply via paper route in this technological age. Also, it depends on the VO handling one's case. Eventhough mine takes 6 months as long as the final decision reads 'APPROVED'. |

nivlek000: Hi guys. I think something fishy is happening on my profile o.
My Timeline: Medical: 16th April Application : 20th April (online) -- Processing time as at application date was 7 weeks (Processing time is currently 9 weeks though) Biometrics: 23 April
For whatever reasons the 'Date read' values have been moved forward from the initial April dates. Is this common?
And what's with the absence of updates? I guess CIC website is being upgraded cos i noticed same on my profile page yesterday till this moment. Having same issue... No updates since i submitted on Apr 13th. It is well |
