I want to understand exactly how large numbers of people are being led to believe in the existence things that, in my view, do not exist.
I still wonder why you haven't directed this same courtesy to the muslims. I believe and know as you know that they too gather in large numbers and are also led to believe in nonexistent things, which in 'our' view, don't exist?.

@the bolded, and you think this country will contain all these other courts? trouble dey sleep, yanga na yanga wake am o!
That's exactly my point!. The christians and Muslims in Nigeria believe they own Nigeria, that's why they do as they please and shove their dogmatic archaic beliefs down other people's throat.

If they can have what they want, why shouldn't others have what they want also?

The issue is not about been man enough just wanna make a gud first impression. Asking for advise from guys who have gone through same road does not seem to be a sign dat I cant marry his daughter.
Well asking for advice clearly mean you're not sure of yourself, bro.

It pays to always be yourself!. Trust me, I've been there.
PoliticsRe: Why Nigerians Should Resist The Proposed Christian "Ecclesiastical" Court Bill by JoeBlocks(m): 11:05am On Dec 08, 2016
Frankly, I share in the belief that whoever drafted the 1999 constitution, did so with a clear cut agenda, that is, the plan to enshrine Islam into the law of Nigeria.

Yes, I understand why the christians want their own court. Surely, if it's good for the goose it's good for the gander.

Islam and christianity (it's followers) have wrecked more havoc than any religious group in this country.

The continuous 'cold war' between this two religious group is dividing this country. So let them have what they want, next the atheist and traditionalist will come and demand for their own court.

Let's see who will be smiling at the end of the day. A people that is brain wash with religion can and will never have any thing going for them.

If our christians and Muslims have an aorta of sense in that lobotomized thing they call a brain, they should take a look at overtly religious country like Saudi Arabia, U.A.E and Vatican City, then compare it with Nigeria, I believe the difference is clear, like 7-Up.

What happened to being a man and man up? huh

You can say that again. We can't see it, can't prove i. But we can smell it.

Now the telecoms render poor services to its subscribers. From drop calls and poor services and NCC fines them and keep the money in its coffers. While those who have been shortchanged and have received poor service for their money go home with empty wallet. No refund; no compensation.

NCC is always the winner. Sometimes the black man and shame don't recognise each other even when they stare eye to eye.
It's all the unholy shenanigans of the select few who establish foolish laws that benefit them and them alone.

The NCC has and will always be a tool meant for the sole purpose of ripping nigerians off. The annoying thing is, what MTN do here in Nigeria, they can't do in other countries....

The NCC have foolishly armed this telecom providers will a gatlin gun, and they've been using it to the fullest. Whenever they run out of bullets, they spread little money here and there and voila! The NCC arm them again.

The recent move in data price increase is a very lucid instance, and it reeks of massive insensitive from the NCC.

Then again, can you blame them? When the people who are supposed to be fighting them are busy deciding "who looks dapper between Toke Makinwa and Tiwa Savage".

The unholy matrimony was kick-started when the NCC fined MTN some staggering bilions as fine for unregistered subscribers accessing its network.

How that money was resolved birthed the rise of so many sharp practices we're witnessing today, including the proposed data subscription increment.
Obviously, money has exchanged hands at the detriment of the masses.

Like badly married husband and wife whose sole aim is to defraud it's family members.

Why would any conscious Nigerian be using MTN is still a wonderment to me.

Any company from South Africa, including DSTV are always cash strapped and hungry for profit.

MTN has always been a rouge establishment and I didn't hesitate to port out of it since 2013.

Every Nigerian ought to jettison every firm and company from South Africa as their quest for profit is uncompromisingly shameful.
I still ponder with wonder when Africans became more imperialistic than the progenitor of imperialism.

It seem every well known vice conceive by the white man is what some disgruntled Africans now revel in.

A pity that the government that is suppose to protect its citizens from such harsh devilish manoeuvre is busy wining and dining with this same disgruntled rogues in suits.

Such foolish tactics displayed by MTN doesn't surprise me any more. Even the body that is suppose to protect the right of the common man has been compromised.

It's such a shame, that is, a crime shame that this companies now see the nigerian man as nothing more than game, meant for nothing else but free meal via carefully drafted imperialist exploitative tactics.

They will continue to get away with all this as long as the NCC still remain non responsive to the plight of the common man.

He mentioned the case of the widow who gave her last food to a prophet instead of her children in a time of famine (equivalent to recession).
That's how they keep the flock fooled and totally foolish.

The time of the widow isn't this time. The widow who wouldn't even know that a Bajaj motorcycle will become faster than a chariot.

How foolish the multitude is.

He's doing an altar call for people who want to surrender their lives to Christ. Pastor Adeboye does this too. But why? Everybody attending the programme should be a Christian already. Why would a non-Christian even be there? I guess it's mostly Christians who feel they have sinned.
Not to mention they're poor or average people.

Have you ever seen a wealthy well known man approach the alter to repent his sinful way(s)? grin
PoliticsRe: Bill To Establish Christian Court In Nigeria Scales Second reading by JoeBlocks(m): 7:35pm On Dec 06, 2016
Seun:
The solution to Islamic Sharia is to abolish it. Implementing Christian Sharia is not the answer. Once you have Christian Sharia, you can't complain about Islamic sharia. If you complain, they will just point out that you also have your own. Christian courts are a terrible idea.
Same way Sharia is a terrible idea.

That's the point of it all. Since the christians and the muslims have what they want, let the atheists, Babalawos and other faith clamour for what they want also. That way, everybody gets what they want. So by the time the country starts boiling, they will know the very reason Europe relegated religion to the background as far back as the 18th century.

It's annoying that this two religious belief have caused nothing but mayhem and problem for this country. Seeing how everybody who has ruled this country is either a christian or a muslim, I'd say they revel on nothing more than hypocrisy and double standard.

So, think about it, who has complaining ever helped in this country?

This is Christian Sharia. All types of Sharia are bad. Nigeria needs to have a secular court system that treats people of all faiths equally.
If it's good for the muslims, then it's good for the christians. Let's see how the muslim who live down south will take to this as it affects them just like Sharia affects the christians up north.

This is how this set of religious drunkards will damage this country with their fallacious faith.

This is just the beginning. Let the atheists gather and move for their own law that will govern them.
