I was going to work earlier today and met these two men. The truth is I have been seeing this in some comedy videos but never occurred to me that some two grown-ups can exhibit such.

We all know the nature of our roads in the country and most especially during rainy seasons, the situation gets worst.

These two men met at a ditch on the road and I expected them to have demonstrated some sense of maturity but the reverse was the case. Each of them was waiting for the other to give way.
They ended up wasting almost 30 to 40 min of their time shouting at each other to give way.

If she's maltreating the girl, report the Aunt to the Police and make sure your Schools management is aware of the case. i.e. The Head teacher, Proprietor and some members of Staff.

Its not right coming online to post your own account. Besides if the girl still stays with her Aunt, how do you want the money to benefit her, knowing her Aunt will still be the one in charge of whatever monies you give.
Thanks for the advice. But I had this thought that If I can get something to be giving her each time she comes to school at least it will keep on motivating her since she will always be sure that there will be a meal for her at school. Thanks. I will take down the account.

Recently, I noticed the cold attitude of one of my high fliers towards school. It became so palpable that it made me very uncomfortable. She started with late coming and I called her and cautioned her and even though I have tried as much as possible not to be beating them, I used the instrumentality of the cane to threaten her in the quest to make her fall back on the track.
From there it graduated to absenteeism. That was when I realized that my sheep has been taken by the wolf and as a shepherd, my eyes became teary.
My child I knew hardly misses school, her presence commands an aura and her absence would surely be noticed by the teacher and her mates.
At first, I called her to ask what was wrong but she casually told me she was fine. That her aunts often request that she stays behind and assist in the shop or do some chores.
when the situation persisted I summoned the courage to visit her home and have a word with the aunt. The response I got from the aunt was not what I expected and it left me with more concerns.
This girl in question lost her mom at an early age and probably the father thought his sister might be in a better position to fill in the gap and provide the girl with motherly love and care. I think it was on this note that he handed her over to his sister.
Today as usual I was teaching and my once vocal, cerebral and extrovert child was less concerned about what I was teaching. She sat absent-mindedly until one of my colleagues had to call her back to life.
After the class, I took her to a corner and pleaded with her to tell me what was wrong. she started crying telling me that she isn't comfortable with where she was staying. That her aunt does insult her dead mum and even caused her that she won't rest in peace.
She mentioned that most times she hardly feeds to school and has to stay hungry throughout the schooling hours while she makes sure her children are well fed before sending them to school.
I joined her crying all the while placing myself in her shoes. This is a girl whose school uniform was even aewn by one of the teachers just so she could continue schooling on the account of how she was diligent with her studies.
In our little ways as her teachers, we are trying our best not to lose this gem. The fact is she has a lot of potentials and is very promising.
The major challenge now is her feeding. At least we can have something to give her every day while we keep working on her aunt.

This could probably be due to a past encounter that happened between the woman and the elephant. Research has shown that the hippocampus the part of the brain that houses emotions and trauma is larger in the brain of elephants than in humans. This is what makes them not to easily forget also. If a tribe poses a danger to elephants, the smell of anyone from such a tribe can trigger them to react.

The last time I checked all the Muslims in Benue are settlers. Nobody has strangled them out of power and the harm they have caused the state is unfathomable. Benue loves and embraces the few Muslims that are in the state. The former governor Gabriel Suswam was the first governor to build a state-of-the-art mosque for the Muslims in any of the Christian-dominated states. I think your reference to Benue is not correct

Mine is quite funny because I was accused wrongly when we went for a field trip in our 300L. I had this Muslim gal I was dating back in school and the whole school knew about us because whenever you see me you l'll see her even as we were course mates. So in the field trip the Hausa/Fulani lecturers Mr. Manor and Dr. Dankishia that went with us conspired and did an unannounced roll call by sending the course representative to my room and hers to ask after us and unfortunately he met our absence and that was it. This men took it upon themselves to make sure i carry over the course by even walking me out of the exams hall. All this was just because I'm a Christian but God pass them and that was how I went to the exam coordinator, who came and made sure they allowed me to write my exams. Since I live on a tree why won't think I went out to kpansh. The good news is that she's my fiancee now.

To imagine that Ojukwu's wife could be slapped like this is a shame. In a culture where respect is a fulcrum, the woman would have been respected for the sake of her husband instead of been slapped.
