Freshtruth:You are delusional. You gave Benue to Peter Obi and also gave it to Atiku. And we should take this to the bank? |
Here are some steps you can take on Saturday if you are concerned about your safety. 1. Go early to your polling unit. Election starts at 8:30 AM and it's a first come first serve basis. You get to vote immediately once you are accredited using the BVAS. - Don't know your polling unit? Text the last six digits of your Voter Identification Number (VIN)(On your PVC) to 09062830860 or 09062830861. INEC wil send you your polling unit. 2. Don't tell anyone who you voted for I know you want to tell the whole world you voted for Obi, Atiku or Tinubu, but hold it. It will safer to tell your friends on social media or your family when you get home. Don't discuss who you voted for with anyone in the polling unit. 3. Don't sell your vote While it may seem like an unharmful thing to do, selling your vote is a criminal offense that comes with a 1 million naira fine or 12 months imprisonment. 4. Don't discuss your political views in the polling unit Campaign ends 24 hours to the election. So it will be illegal to campaign for your candidate on election day. You can discuss football, BBN and other interests, but avoid discussing the candidates especially with strangers. 5. Vote and go home If you don't feel safe about staying in the polling unit after voting, then you can go home, once you've voted. You can track the election results on the INEC portal. Typically violence on election day happens in the evening. So you can go early, vote and go home if you have any concerns. Stay Safe: Source Locals.com.ng

This is just perfect. About a quarter of northern Muslims will vote for Tinubu. Half will vote for Atiku and some Kwakwanso. Only one many has a pathway to Victory. A new Nigeria is POssible. |
This guy is quite unbiased with his analysis. Nice |
Mynd44:Lol. Why are you shifting goal post? You don't understand Anambra state. Why didn't Ngige conduct elections when he was governor? |
One of the points people like Tambuwal use to try to demarket Peter Obi is that he didn't conduct LGA elections. But that is false. Obi conducted elections after the court cases were resolved. Here's a snippet from the swearing-in of the elected chairmen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJPWsi58Mwg

Rivers state stakeholders wey no fit hold meeting for Rivers state. What stakes are they holding then? 🤣🤣🤣 |
![]() Why not use TBS Obalende to show Obi how it's done? |
yarimo:Well, that's the beauty of the Peter Obi campaign. It's driven by anyone. The person who did this is from Borno state and a future governor of the state. He's also a former APC member. |
yarimo:Shettima was governor for 4 years. APC is still in government in Borno. But they don't seem it fit to do eye service and give them water? |
MercyToto404:You know Borno is over 30% Christians right? Peter Obi knows his audience. He doesn't waste resources chasing shadows. |
Peter Obi Campaign Team visit Bwala in Borno South. The community doesn't have any roads or even tap water. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQd0OFGWrpE

No matter how you tweak it, vote buying will be reduced drastically. |
“He diagnoses the country’s failings more precisely than his rivals, though he is not much better at explaining how he would fix them,” the paper said. London-based newspaper The Economist says Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), is the best choice for Nigeria. The Economist described Obi as a sprightly 6q-year old while Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was described as “an old-school politician who, at 70 years old, is unlikely to shake things up”. It also said Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is no better than Tinubu, adding that the former vice-president has grandiose ideas for industrialisation and one million new police officers but no plan for how to pay for them. In the article titled ‘Nigeria desperately needs a new kind of leadership’, The Economist said: “Obi, a sprightly 61-year-old former state governor who is leading in the polls, offers an alternative. “Most striking, he has urged people not to vote along ethnic or religious lines but to favour competence. “Should they do so, it would mark a radical shift in Nigerian politics. He has also warned his supporters they should expect no money in return for their votes. “Obi talks of supporting business, freer trade, and getting a grip on Nigeria’s mounting debts. He diagnoses the country’s failings more precisely than his rivals, though he is not much better at explaining how he would fix them. His promises to scrap the staggeringly wasteful petrol subsidy and rationalise the central bank’s many exchange rates are echoed by his opponents. “Obi is not entirely a new broom. He was Abubakar’s vice-presidential running-mate in 2019 before switching parties. He has faced questions over undeclared offshore assets. (He says he earned the money in question before he took office as governor.) Even if he wins, his Labour Party is very unlikely to gain a majority in the national assembly, so governing will be hard. “But he is the only candidate to offer Nigerians much hope of change. In a country that has been badly and repeatedly failed by its leaders, he is easily the best choice.” The Economist said Nigeria has been cursed with bad rulers but Obi, a third-party presidential candidate, offers a measure of hope. “Africa’s most populous country is in desperate need of it (hope). The economy, the continent’s biggest, bursts with youthful potential — half the country is 18 years old or younger,” the newspaper said. “A flourishing Nigeria would boost the whole of Africa. Instead, it is dragging it down. “Nigerians are poorer now than they were in 2015, when the outgoing President Muhammadu Buhari, took over. “At least 60m (and rising) survive on less than the equivalent of $2.15 per day. Buhari’s protectionist policies have made things worse. “In addition, the country is beset by violence.” https://www.arise.tv/the-economist-endorses-peter-obi-says-hes-the-only-candidate-who-offers-nigerians-hope-of-change/ |
Even the person talking will vote for Peter Obi. |
Interesting |
I know one stupid Mod will rush this to the front-page. |
Accountability my foot. Lagos account hasn't been made public since you because governor, and your proteges fights anyone who tries to access these records using the FOI. Lagosians only see the debt, but don't know how much is being generated. |
Peter Obi has today visited several markets in Lagos, including the Beger suya Trinity market, Ajegunle, and the Boundary Market. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H14HuXBnsys |
If e didn't dey, e didn't dey. You don't need to force people to support your candidate. Election day would be fun in Rivers state. |
LegendHero:You no get money. Bring 200k if you sure. |
alanto:Again, my governor isn't contesting for president of Nigeria. |
alanto:Oh. My bad. One of you urchins sent me a screenshot. You are all the same to me nonetheless. The list you sent didn't include a hospital Tinubu built. Stop quoting me cause you have nothing to sell. It took less than 1 billion naira to build a world-class hospital in 2003. Even my local government chairman can rehabilitate hospitals |
alanto:Lol. Tinubu is not vying to be governor of my state. He's vying to be president. Nigeria has a lifespan of 52, while U.S is 80+. If you are wise, you'll also be asking these same questions. |
alanto:I don't know where they brought all of you from in the same screenshot you sent. It stated that it was rehabilitated. Typical urchin. |
Ttalk:Tinubu upgraded, Tinubu refurbished. I'm not talking about upgrades. Several healthcare facilities in Lagos are named after Tinubu. Yet he didn't start any hospital from scratch. The same hospitals he upgraded were also upgraded by Fashola, Ambode and now Sanwo-Olu. Who would build new hospitals? |
dat9jaguy:Go back and read the post. Nigeria doesn't have enough hospitals. We don't need a president that will spend 8 years rehabilitating hospitals, despite increase taxes by over 300%> |
