NYSC / My Bitter Experience With A Bus Driver And His Conductor In Jigawa State by joeybankz: 7:51pm On Aug 16, 2015 |
Hi guys, Happy weekend to you all... I want to share an experience I had while travelling from Jigawa state to Kano state this past Friday. I had plans of getting a bus heading to Abuja in Kano. First of all i'm a corps member deployed to Jigawa state to serve my father land. It hasn't been easy so far, however, I and so many other corps member decided to travel for a two week break after our state clearance. I and 3 other corps members where fortunate enough to get a bus going to Kano, my plans was to travel to kano and then to Abuja, the others 3 corpers where travelling to Lagos. So our Destination was Kano... On our way, the driver and his conductor without permission parked the bus and left all of us in the bus and went for Prayers. Everyone was angry, those who were yet to pay decided to follow another bus, I on the other hand have already paid with 200 naira as change which was still with the conductor, so I was stock and had to wait for them for up to 15 Min. When the driver finally returned from the mosque, he was so angry that the other corps member had left. So he and his conductor decided that they will not give me my remaining change since I allowed the other corps members to leave, and they haven't paid yet. I didn't understand them because they were speaking in Hausa and they didn't understand Pigeon english. I got to understand them when I finally got to Kano and they bluntly refused to issue the change, it was a huge argument that passersby had to come, and most of them didn't understand english, the one who finally understood what I was saying said I was at fault, that since the driver went to pray and the corps members left without paying, that I should pay on behalf of the other corps members. It sounded so funny to me. Anyway I thank God that I finally got my change from the conductor with more persuasion and no violence. I really want Nairalanders to look into this case, if you were in my shoes what will you do? Truely those guys who came around where of the opinion that I should pay since my fellow corpers left without paying. You opinions please!!! cc: lalasticlala ishilove |

Webmasters / Re: 4 Tips To Get Adsense Approval Fast-2015 by joeybankz: 7:49am On Jun 12, 2015 |
oteneaaron: You are mostly correct, but u knw google adsense are mostly not specific about there guidline, however, the pages aspect u mentioned is one of the most important, I remember when I applied, I was turned down, but after a research, I discovered I needed those 3 pages, I did and I was approved after two days. But concerning traffic and content or how old the blog should be b4 1 can apply, I don't think google has a specific number or time, in my case, I had close to 40 post of which 95% was mine, and the blog was approximately 3 mnths old, and I was having as much as 90 - 120 visitors per day, though I had all the required pages. I was approved when I applied. |

superstar1: I've known ur people to be cowards, but hypocrite I'm just learning that now. This man u guys are declaring public Holiday for, is he still not the one u guys angrily, forcely and violently refused that his name be used for one of ur university? Thatz hypocrisy at the highest order if u ask me. I mean, no shame at all, and the one who wrote that rubbish must be among those who blocked roads to protest against his so called "martyrs".... Instead of remembering ur so called slain martyr, u are bringing some1 who doesn't have a single biz with June 12, some1 who died a more honourable death.... abeg face ur front and enjoy ur holiday if u are not already on strike. |
Health / Re: What Is The Best Way To Treat E-coli by joeybankz: 5:50pm On Jun 10, 2015 |
The World Health Organization (WHO) has estimated an approximate 80% of the developing world population to meets their main primary healthcare needs y the use of the local traditional medicine (Baurmman, 1982). Close to 25% of the prescriptions on drugs that are dispensed in the United States of America, has the content of atleast one active ingredient which is derived from a plant material or mineral. Some are made out of plant extract and then others are synthesized to mimic a natural compound or environment. It has always been made clear that one in every person in United States had made an attempt or tried atleast a alternative to a supplements (Eisenberg et al, 1998). In another follow up study which has reported that a number of respondents using the alternative therapies had now increased from its formal 33.8% in the 1990 to 42.7% in 1997.
