I really hope he is true. CryptoRepublic1: That's if he's being truthful and genuine, a lot of them once you hand them your hard earned, they won't even answer your call when you tell them you've arrived and you're in the airport expecting them to come pick you up.

Thank you so much sir for your encouragement. I will take my time. Though I will want him to be my guide CryptoRepublic1: I've travelled almost every countries in Europe without knowing anyone, you'll meet new people along the way, don't allow fear to ever stop you from doing anything in this life, you'll meet many people in the same position as you on the way.

Going there might not be an issue but after landing that's the issue because I don't have anybody in Abu Dhabi to help me settle there quickly because 3 months looks so small in settling down and going out to search for job myself. Buh thank you for the advice. Maybe I just have to delay him till I am sure he Is not lying about the work visa CryptoRepublic1: Just get 3months tourists visa and go there,if you're lucky you may get a job before the 3months runs out and your employer will then process a permit/residency and accommodation for you. |

Thank you sir. Can you guide me on step by step in applying for the MBA 70% scholarship before it closes this coming week. I really don't know anything about processing visa at all or applying for masters online. Thank you sir Charles61: Why not go for Master's? Why bsc again? You can get MBA 70% scholarship if you apply this coming week before it close. However, it's your decision. But for me, I don't see any reason why I should spend more money of Bsc again |

This is the second person telling me it's a scam oh. The person sounded so real because we did video call together and I told him to show me his work identity card and he showed me because he was wearing his work uniform. He said he will help me get work in Abu Dhabi because that is the city he works. I don't really know what to do again. He even assured me that if I don't get work within two months of being in Abu Dhabi, he is going to renew my visa again because I will be staying with him CryptoRepublic1: It's a scam and besides that Dubai visa is less than 160k and jobs there is by luck. |

Thank you. My basic reason for wanting to apply for Cyprus is not for the masters but basically for work. Someone in Dubai is offering me a security work visa(850k without flight ticket) with a salary of over 250k plus(free accommodation). I really do not know what to do whether to pursue the Cyprus masters program or the Dubai work visa. Can you advice me on which to follow? Thank you Charles61: Please try look for master's. Reason is that master is cheaper and it would open better opportunity for you. Look for 2years master |

Goodmorning sir, I have Bsc accounting. I do not have any skill, I am looking for unskilled job in Cyprus. Can I apply for another Bsc program in Cyprus or apply for masters in business administration? What are my chances getting the visa and the total cost I will incur from processing the visa till I get there? I am not actually well informed on how this visa processing works. Thank you as I await your response Charles61: Do you have minimum ND results or Secondary school.
If yes Try apply to university in cheap European country like Cyprus. Trust me Germany, nerthaland and France are hot cake now.
Apply for Bsc in any university in Cyprus Once you come, get your student resident permit. There is alot of technician and IT job.
Technical job like ( electrian, mechanical engineering, panel beater, mechanic etc are easy to get job here, with minimum 800euro per months. Feeding and share apartment and utilities here would not be more than 350euro
From here, you could get a better offer in another big European country. I wasted my time and money with Germany and other big European country.
Honestly, I would have used all that money to come to Cyprus since 2018, and established myself
But thank God, coming here last year is a big step that I would always appreciate God for.
Please don't go to north Cyprus ohh. However, my opinion is Cyprus. So I am not telling you that's your only option.
But incase you need my help, I will do my best to help you come over. Check my thread about south Cyprus and my YouTube.
I am ready to do all I could to help my brothers from my country by God's grace.
Lastly, don't apply to college in university of Cyprus. The ministry of education stop college for two years from admitting international students. Only recognize university are allowed for now.
University like University of Cyprus University of Nicosia Frederick university American university
Best of luck |

Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Johnk110: 12:53pm On Sep 06, 2020 |
Thanks alot bro. Never had an idea on this. I didn't even envisage traveling outside Nigeria because I know it's very hard getting visa. My aunty just made it look easy that's why I thought getting the admission will make me get visa fast. I guess I have to look for cheaper schools for masters since I already have a Bsc. Luckymama: My brother, there’s nothing better than doing your research in any matter rather than relying on what people say. When it comes to study in Canada, getting the admission is the least of your worries, so don’t let the fact that your “Aunty” claims to know the “owner” of a school be the reason for choosing a school. What does that even mean? I have not heard of an owner of a post secondary institution before sha.
Here are the basic things you need to know.
1. Is the school a DLI (Designated Learning Institution?). Not all higher institutions in Canada are authorized to accept international students. So the first step is to Google DLI Canada and confirm from the list of schools which ones are DLI. On this DLI matter there is another consideration. The reason why people go for masters in Canada is because you can get a Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP). Again not every school will qualify you for this so when you are checking for schools on the DLI list confirm that the school And the program you are going for are DLI eligible. I just did a google search and while the school Dominion college is DLI (authorized to accept international students), it is not PGWP eligible, meaning that when you finish the program you will not get a work permit and will have to come back to Nigeria immediately.
2. There’s a common reason for denial called purpose of visit. Visa Officers (VOs) often deny people a study permit if the program you are going for does not make sense as in based on your previous degree or your work experience. So for someone like you who read business admin or so to suddenly start going for personal support worker it is obvious that it does not show any progression either based on your career or your previous schooling.
My advice is that you take a breath. Start to do some research. You can start on this student visa thread maybe part 14 and be reading it small small. Many things will be slowly getting clearer for you.
@ Oga Austacus you could have tried to put him through. I was on this board a couple of years ago when you were in our shoes and I know you received a lot of help. It’s time to give back from your wealth of experience. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Johnk110: 12:45pm On Sep 06, 2020 |
Bro the problem is that I don't know the reason you just said straight that I will be denied visa. If you can please tell me what to do I will gladly appreciate it Austacus: It's a pity in this generation, when you tell people the truth and being straightforward, they term you to be rude.
Bro, it cringes me how some of y’all use God's names.
I know ”God is the greatest above all”, he gave us the wisdom to see the foresight and avoid mistake, if you fail to do it and you call Gods name, it's a waste of time and abuse of his name. |

Thanks man. I appreciate SKEPTA: Chief, with all due respect, this isn’t a nice thing to say at all Truly,Everyone knows that he would most likely be denied because of lack of progression of studies. But for you to just outrightly clear him like this is a very unfair thing to do.He innocently came here for help and advice but instead of you to help him or ignore him if you’re unable to help, you decided that telling him straightforward that he’d be denied is the best thing to do. There’s honestly no reason to be rude,If you’re unable to help him just ignore.I’m sure others would gladly help him
At least if you told him the reason why he’d ne denied,It’d be better.
Not fair to just tell someone off like that.We could all do better as regards how we treat each other on here.
I’m sorry if this comes as disrespectful. |

Hello sir, how are you doing hope you are fine. Am new in this forum, I have a Bsc degree in accounting, I have an aunty in canada though we are not related. I talked with her as regarding coming over to Canada. She said I should apply for student visa. The name of the school is Dominion college of business health and technology. And the program I wanna apply for is personal support worker( not related to my field of study) currently I don't even know how to start with the application because I went to the school website but I don't really understand their requirements.please can you guide me on step by step application of the study visa? And if am given admission in the school, am I likely to get visa approval because my aunty knows the owner of the school. I don't just understand anything concerning visa stuff and all that. Thank you Frankrobbn1: Well spot on!
I'm anxiously waiting for your success story to be shared on this platform soon.
It will end in praise. |
