Nnewi1stSon: Give it a rest and quit being coc.cky over nothing! leave this thread for Chino and it won't go beyong the 10th page. This thread needs as many contributors as it can get if we are to sustain it like the Enugu thread(Which is imposible BTW)undecided
and who are you to tell us if this thread will be sustained or not.?The enugu thread was opened many months ago remember.,so dont compare an anambra thread that was just opened today with it..,we dont need any prophet of doom here!

Igbo nwe mmadu ekene m unu.i strongly suggest that there should be pictorial representation of developmental trends in this thread,as such would encourage more people to contribute meaningfully...some guys like myself hate reading long threads with no pictures.

CultureRe: Common Beautiful Names From The Igbo Tribe by Johnolis(m): 11:06am On Sep 16, 2014
chidimma(chichi)- 75% of girls with this name are cute, smart and intelligent.
Mgbeke(mgbee)- funny, the real meaning has been altered,it now used to refer to ugly girls.avoid the name.

Ngozi(ng)-lovely girls just that some of them are bossy in nature but are fun to be with.

Olisaemeka(olisa)-lovely name for talented guys.

Ifunanya(ify)-lovely set of girls that are so so romantic.

Chiedu(edu)-most guys with this name often roll in cash and money, and travel a lot.they are often called Edu brazil.

Anene-back then in primary school,we use to make fun of guys with this name,(looku-looku).literally i think it means make you look.

The above hypothesis are personal until scientifically proven.but i think sometimes, names affect the way people behave.

PoliticsRe: SCOTTISH INDEPENDENCE: Crowd Protest Against BBC Bias by Johnolis(m): 8:37pm On Sep 15, 2014
BBC is the most biased media house i have ever seen...can you imagine that whenever they want to show nigeria, they will look for the slums and project it as nigeria.i have noticed it times without number till i gave up on their news.even the russian conflict against EU nations, they were very biased against russia.

Are we forgetting more than 50 innocent people whose lives were wasted and used for ritual in one certain nigerian church, where Aliens from mars came with their UFO and 30 minutes later, the church fall yakata.i come hear say that their was no network connection for our visionaries to foresee the church collapse...mtn must know about this and must be held accountable for their poor network signal when it was needed most..,having in mind that these visionaries saw the kidnap of the pope, and obama and many other things in far distant lands where there is adequate and proper network connection.

The women spoke figuratively...molest doesnt necessary mean rape.,though rape could be termed a type of molestation.people should please read carefully before coming to conclusions.the women were not raped but they were lamenting the crimes perpetuated by their children due to lack of government presence.

people should not allow themselves or their relatives to be used.this is how usa spread viral disease after they will blame africans as the originator of the disease.when we needed their help, they refused to release their zmapp and now they are looking for humans to use as lab rats, they remember nigeria.so upon all the millions of citizens in the united states, they couldnt find people to use for the vaccines.sometimes,i wonder why our leaders cant speak out.

I escorted a friend to Anambra state university teaching hospital which was built and renovated by Chief Peter Obi(okwute ndi igbo).
I was marveled by what i saw, knowing how it was before previously known as Amaku general hospital..we anambrarians will ever remain grateful to Obi for his transformation of all sectors within the state.Though i didnt visit the new wards which are awesome cos my movement was somehow restricted to the dental section,i really appreciate the changes.all thanks to Obi.
