Nairaland GeneralChinedu wins GULDER ULTIMATE Search....the Mission... by Johnolis(op):
The gulder ultimate search the mission is in its final stages. The search has left so many fallen warriors even my favorite contestant lovely samantha.,remaining three brave warriors who are chinedu, cosy and emmanuel. These three warriors have individual qualities that distinguish them.
Here is my own assessment of these warriors.

Chinedu: He is a brilliant, smart and confident guy.some people see the confidence he exudes as arrogance. He is good at solving riddles and puzzle.

Cosy: He is a quiet and very calculated guy.He may be slow at riddles but he is the master with puzzle and this saw him through in the last game in which Canon was eliminated.Cosy is unpredictable like weather and can spring the best surprises.

Emmanuel:He is a fast, agile and strong guy.He has a natural flair in finding hidden objects. He is also a very considerate guy and lovely guy for the ladies.
So which of these guys will find the general's helmet and walk away with ten million naira and a brand new SUV.?
Since the council of elders said that the helmet is not hidden,i am personally tipping chinedu to win the crown but anything can happen.who do you think that will win the crown?

PoliticsRe: The Real Reason Why Petrol Stations Were Closed In Anambra by Johnolis(m): 1:04pm On Oct 27, 2014
ugotex85:
An Insight into the recent Closure of Filling Stations and its reportage by masked online blackmailers
While our online prophets of doom continue to propagate their lies and ill sermon against the person of Chief Willie Obiano and his family, the Anambra State Government and Ndi Anambra, I wish to categorically state as follows:
• The reported closure of filling stations in some parts of Anambra State had nothing to do with high taxation as the rumour mongers would want us to believe
• The State’s Tax Force on Petroleum did their routine monitoring of some major petrol stations (prior to now, this committee gets compromised by the fuel vendors)
• It was discovered that virtually all the filling stations had doctored their fuel pump machines
• Depending on the illegal adjustment discovered, the fuel vendors were warned to desist from such criminal acts, forced to correct the illegality or reported to the relevant authorities
• The Task Force vehemently refused all entreaties by the defaulting fuel dealers to bribe or compromise them.
• It was discovered that some stations only give out 7litres when a customer pays for 10litres while others give out 8 for 10 litres.
• Citizens and customers at the various filling stations visited were happy that at last succour came their way
• The petrol station owners (through their criminal cabal) ordered closure of all member stations in protest
• The Government, from the minute the stations were closed, waved into the matter to protect the welfare of the Ndi Anambra
• Our renowned online preachers of failure swooped into the fray reporting High Taxation (which is non-existent in Anambra) instead informing the online users about the gallantry displayed by the Petroleum Tax Force in discovering the rot in our Filling Stations
• Today, with the effort of the State Government ably led by Chief Willie Obiano, filling Stations have been reopened, dealers won’t rob Ndi Anambra again and the Petroleum Task Force continues its statutory function as stated in the law book.
There are few facts to this development:
1. This Petroleum Committee has always underperformed (and are being regularly compromised) until Gov Obiano injected young and energetic citizens to regularly monitor and ensure that Ndi Anambra are not being robbed through the pump stations. And in their first official function, these shocking revelations where made… I commend them!
2. The Petroleum Task Force discovered that almost all the filling stations adjusted their pumps to rob Ndi Anambra to a wicked level… Imagine giving out only 7 litres when one pays for 10 litres.
3. Some cabals in the petroleum business felt hurt by the very inspiring and people oriented services of the young Task Force Team. Instead of being ashamed of the illegal and broad day light robbery to unsuspecting Ndi Anambra, they shut down their stations
4. Ndi Anambra are now aware that the Government of Chief Willie Obiano is ever determined to deliver on its promises and cannot be derailed by the activities of enemies of progresss.
Something tells me you are lying.
I dont believe you!
Story for the gods.

PoliticsSouth Africa And Lawlessness! by Johnolis(op): 12:36pm On Oct 27, 2014
With heavy heart, the world was shocked by the news of the death of senzo meyiwa, the south african goal keeper for the bafana bafana, who was shot dead by unknown gun men. This tragic incident occurred not less than 2weeks after Oscar Pistorius was sentenced to 5years in prison after shooting and killing his girl friend. It should also be recalled that on 18th october 2007,Lucky Dube,a reggae star was shot and killed in front of his children.it should be noted these incidents came to limelight because it affected celebrities, who knows thousand other incidents that were swept under the carpet.?
Like lucky dube's song says
''People dying like fly everyday,we read them on the news but we dont believe it,we only know about it,when a man in a long black robe knocks on your door, because you are his next victim''.
We are living in a crazy world but for how long will this crazy barbaric acts continue in south africa.
RIP to the dead.
Join your voice in condemning these barbaric wasting of innocent lives.if you keep quiet, you never know who is next.

Bros,
Some of our so called businessmen have actually been the problem with the state. Not business men like IBETO or INNOSON, but people like Chris Ubah, Andy Ubah, Ifeanyi Ubah, Okey Odunze and to an extent, Emeka Offor. Because our guys lack proper education, they are crude and raw in their methods and end up hurting the entire state over silly political squabbles.

BTW,
I believe you should allow that man to do the needful and unfollow the thread. It will be better for the discussion here.If major contributors as Tabletman,3Dankey, ilovenigeria, inyinyaagbaoku, schematics or FK081 un-follow the thread, then it is truly a loss to the thread.
Anambra's developmental challenges are a little complicated and requires a clear analytical mind to discern. So simplistic, magical thinkers like the dude that will simply look at Akwa Ibom and want the magic replicated in Anambra without consideration for the funding part need to unfollow the thread as he desired.

When a man begins to compare Akwa Ibom with the highest federal allocation and even greater IGR to Anambra, which is amongst the poorest 10 states and low IGR, then the man does not have a good analytic skill. His focus should be how to raise the IGR to enable funds for developmental projects.

This seems very elementary but it is good to say it for those like that guy. All states in Nigeria are not receiving an equal amount from the federation account. There are about 7-9 states which each receive allocation bigger than what is allocated to the entire south east states!
It is quite shameful how people are termed of having poor analytical skills because they said the bare truth. For quite sometime now,i have been around, going through peoples' comment on this thread, and i have noticed that we dont tell ourselves the truth.is it now a crime to give a constructive criticism.,or should we keep mute when things are not going as it ought to? So that we wont be labelled enemies of the state.i have no problem with anybody but i feel that the energy and resource used in shouting to the whole world about on-going works can be channeled to doing actually the main works. For crying out loud, peter Obi didnt use propaganda.the works he did, spoke for him.the day i lost hope was when i went to Ifite awka,if u are approaching unizik, there are pot holes there, and then beside that terrible spot on the road,i saw an inscription, 'willie is working'.i thought that the road will be remedied but up till now,it is still in shamble, why then is the essence of the inscription while no work is on going there.

After going through the Akwa ibom thread,i have come to the painful realization that Anambra has nothing to boast about.so therefore,i have decided to unfollow this thread.i may follow back again when we start having tangible projects on ground..every major project in the state seems to be at standstill and i am tired of hearing that willie is working without seeing any corresponding completed project.the mall being constructed in awka has been in the same condition for months now.please, guys call me back when you start seeing finished and completed projects.am tired of hearing news about works.

Op,please you need to go to unizik, when you must have gone through their library, then you come and start the ranking afresh.
All the structures am seeing here are just libraries, but unizik's own is Digital.
The library is quite massive with underground floor, never go there alone if new to avoid missing.
One can also drive his car upstairs in unizik's library if you want.
Though i have not been to other schools, but i personally think unizik's library should be on the list,if not the best in nigeria.
