So guys, just Imagining the whole situation of the country can just be depressing sometimes. Think of the Doctor who was even desperately seeking a way to leave the country and got caught in the web of band*ts just few days or so, before her scheduled travel.

ASUU strike?? Well just like Thunder strike, has been there for ages, and who knows if it will ever end.

But... Well, the main gist here is, isn't it time to take this Study/relocation to Canada Seriously? At least, before one gets caught up in another web of "only God knows". Or till you grow old in school.

And Yeah Canada, because it's one of, if not the country with the highest number of yearly immigrants.

Well... Where do I even start? This thing is difficult right?

It isn't, you've only not decided to follow who know road.

Hold on! I can Show you one of the EASIEST and MOST ACCESSIBLE Way I just discovered from a Canadian Permanent Resident, to relocate to Canada this year. Even without ielts and for low grade students.

But first, let me tell you about Linda...

In 2017, Linda had had enough!

She was stressed at work and had not been promoted for 3 years.

The cost of living was rising exponentially in Nigeria and her family income was not increasing.

Then there was the insecurity issues in the country. In fact, she was tired. She needed to leave the country for a saner life for herself and her family!

She was 38 years old.

A few of her colleagues had already relocated to Canada, so she reached out to them for help.

They told her about the new express entry system that uses CRS scores to invite people for permanent residence in Canada.

Excitedly, Linda quickly calculated ger CRS scores using the CRS tool here: https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Her score was just short of 400, and at that time, only people with at least scores of 420 were been invited to apply. Her age was a problem as those below 35 years old with a Masters degree seemed to have the advantage with this new express entry system.

And the older you got, the harder it was to be invited through the express entry system.

Linda wept bitterly that day. Why didn’t she try earlier? Does this mean she will not be able to relocate to Canada with her family afterall? Was this the end of her Canada dreams? Was there any other way she could legitimately enter Canada and be able to stay permanently?

It was a sad week for Linda.

Luckily for Linda, the following month, her friend told her how she had relocated to Canada 2 years previously using the study route, and was now a permanent resident. Her friend was 42 years old at the time of their discussion, which meant she was close to 40 when she went to study in Canada.

Linda’s eye lit up!

She quickly arranged a WhatsApp call with her friend to get all the details of how to start her study journey to Canada.

She had so many questions:

-How much would it cost altogether?

-What level of study did she need to apply for? And how would she choose a course of study?

-Could she go with her family? She had 2 kids and her husband.

-What province could she choose?

-How easy was the process?

-How long before she becomes a permanent resident?

-Did it matter that she already had a Master’s degree?

-How would she get admission into the University? Would they offer her funding to study? (her friend got a funding of $25,000)

-What documents did she need to present?

-How would she get help with this process?

Her friend answered every single one of her questions. She was really concerned and wanted Linda to come to Canada as well.

She told Linda that relocating at such an advanced age was very difficult. In fact, the Canada visa officers were quite hostile to Nigerian applicants (especially older ones coming to study), so it was important to avoid a refusal as much as possible!

Her friend was refused once before she sought professional help in her second attempt to study in Canada.

Linda knew she had a lot of work to do, but with her friend’s help, she dived in and got to work. She used a tool to choose a school (as recommended by her friend(more on this later)

She chose a province and course recommended by her friend and she even got a $23,000 funding which covered her tuition.

Her friend advised here on the strategy to use so that her family could join her in Canada as well. The success of that process was the highlight of Linda’s year!

Today, she has finished her study and has applied for permanent residence.

All happened when she was already 38 years and going to 39 years old, with little hope of ever relocating with her family.

So, if you are around 30 years and above and you are wondering how you can relocate to Canada at your age, you can actually do what Linda did to relocate.

But please note that you need to know what you are doing because the odds are against older folks, and the visa officers are just looking for just one reason to refuse you.

Don’t give it to them!

Getting admission is easy. Getting your study permit – now that’s another matter altogether!

Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, has dismissed one of its lecturers, Dr Stephen Ukenna, for allegedly raping a 17-year-old female student in his office on the campus.

SaharaReporters learnt that the university on Tuesday dismissed the lecturer, who is already in police custody and who was attached to the Department of Business Management at the university.

Ukenna had been arrested on March 11 by the police in Ota for “forcefully having unlawful carnal knowledge of the student.”

According to the police, the 41-year-old lecturer was arrested following a complaint lodged at the Ota Police Area Command by the parents of the victim.

The parents reported that their daughter called them on the phone from the school that she was invited by the lecturer to his office on the said date under the pretence that he wanted to plan a surprise birthday party for her close friend.

The police said the student, however, on getting to the lecturer’s office, was locked in the office and the lecturer forcibly had sex with her on top of the table in his office.

2 Persecuted Christians in Iran Turn Prison to Church
In what was reminiscent of the times of the Apostles in the early church, two persecuted Christian missionaries in Iran were arrested and put in jail for sharing their Christian faith.

Two women, Marziyeh Amirizadeh and Maryam Rostampour had been put in one of Iran’s notorious prisons, Evin Prison, known worldwide to legally torture and execute prisoners.

However, while there, they witnessed how the dark prison was turned into a church and an experience of light by God.

While in the prison, they kept praying every day and continued sharing the gospel with their co-prisoners, and that was the beginning of a prison revival that spread even to the prison guards

One of the most intriguing story told of recent, is that of Solomon Akomolede, a former U.I medical student who revealed how he abandoned his studies to pursue his calling.

Solomon Akomolede was a top medical student, and one of the best in his department, but he left his studies for a closer walk with God.

Akomolede said he became born again when he was in primary 2, through his class teacher, and that his supernatural experiences had started at the young age.

“I experienced a complete change. I experienced inner peace and I began to have consciousness of God’s presence. “I also began to know things supernaturally.”

“It was after I got saved that I discovered that I had the gift of prophecy. So being young did not make any difference in my salvation experience,” he said.

Akomolede, in the interview said he had good grades in his secondary school exams, and was performing excellently in his studies, with a first class grade but had to abandon all.

He revealed how his decision was fueled by the death of his father in his second year, the incident which he regretted could have been stopped if he “knew God more.”

“Today is my wife’s birthday and there are lessons that women, especially so many young brides can learn from her,” he said.

“She is a powerful woman, I know that.
She has many people who take instructions from her, but as powerful as she is, and even though she has seen me in my weakest moments, I have no doubt that I am her head.”

Police in Abia State have arrested a man, Ifekwe Udo, who is said to be the founder of Light Bearer Greater Church of Lucifer, known as Church of Satan in Ohafia.
the church founder, who is also known as Fada-Fada was arrested for violating the lockdown protocol as directed by the state government.

Before now, Ifekwe was said to have been notorious with some evil practices in the area, but no one could stop him.

Ohafia Local Government, is also the hometown of popular tele-evangelist, Rev (Dr) Uma Ukpai.

A native of the community, who identified as Kalu said the development was one of relief and joy to the people of the town.

A lady who was allegedly raped while hawking banana has given birth to triplets, a report says.

20-year-old Nkechi Ezenwa reportedly gave birth to triplets in a hospital but could not pay the hospital bills.

According to her, she only discovered she had more than one child at the point of her delivery.

Ezenwa said health workers discovered she had more babies, after she delivered the first of the triplets.

She was later transferred to another hospital where two more babies were delivered via caesarean section, but couldn't pay the bills which amounted to 422,000.

Help however came her way after her predicament came to the notice of well meaning Nigerians, including the wife of the Imo state Governor.

On Sunday, June 28 2020, newly elected President of Malawi, Lazarus Chakwera was sworn in.

Chakwera was sworn in as the sixth president of Malawi after he defeated the incumbent president, Peter Mutharika with over 58% of the votes in Tuesday’s poll.

Earlier in February, Malawi’s constitutional court had cancelled former President Mutharika’s poll win in May 2019, citing vote tampering.

The annulment of Mutharika’s poll win was historical, as it made Malawi just the second sub-Saharan African country to have presidential poll results cancelled, Kenya was the first.
