dexterinc2003:There are 3 paths for International Medical Graduates...everything is here http://www.medicalboard.gov.au/Registration/International-Medical-Graduates.aspx N.B: The statement you made in your P.S was totally not necessary. This is a forum where we all try to help each other without asking for a penny and i think we should a little bit less strict and friendly in our expression(s). Regards |
unclebright:I seriously think you are an Ecobank staff or probably related to one. I use ecobank for my salary account here in Lagos and i Can confirm that what the OP said it totally right. I also bank with GTB and Diamond and have internet banking activated with them except ecobank all because of their unnecessary requirement ranging from utility bill to passport which i just felt was shitty. Went to this same bank around 9am on the friday before the presidential election to withdraw and was i can't withdraw MY money because there was is no cash in the bank to serve customers. I also tried doing a transfer to my GTB not minding their high transfer charges and was told no network...i waited for 2hrs before till i later left out of frustration. The day i got fed up was when my sister wanted to travel and i went to withdraw money for her ticket only to be told that the network is bad...i didn't know when i got so pissed, threatened to sue for damages if what i needed the money for later flops. I almost created a scene before their operations supervisor calmed me down and processed my withdrawal codedly via the backdoor means. Didn't even think it twice before i quickly went to HR to change my account details to my Diamond bank account. In conclusion, Ecobank is so damn shitty and seriously needs to be sued for scamming Nigerians with their regular network issue lies. |
mrnilobrawn:@mrnilobrown Can my 5 yr engineering degree obtained from a state university(Lautech, ogbomosho) coupled with 2 and half yrs experience be assessed positively by Engineers Australia considering the school ranking as earlier discussed on this thread. |
mrnilobrawn:Choosing an occupation is very dicey considering your course...just search well and choose a closely related occupation that can be assessed via vetassess. |
NNBB2012:Please don't try using your ND alone no matter your years of work experience. I once made that mistake through Vetassess by trying to assess myself as a Civil Engineering Technician using only my ND without including my B.Tech because i felt ND was enough and would give me more post study work exp points...vetassess unfortunately didn't equate my ND to an Australian Diploma and said i don't meet the minimum education criteria. My advice is to go through Vetassess and apply with both your ND & HND. |
Thespecialone:Okay Thanks. That's still reasonable |
What is your present exchange rate? |
olabokey:Thanks. Nsnp demand express entry program doesn't require a job offer but the main key is applying very early and ensuring all your documents are complete. Their requirement was exactly the same with last years Fswp program so all i just did was to photocopy my fswp application documents, print out a new bank statement and submit. |
Meritl:Thanks |
@Damkollins. My Fswp 2014 application delivered on the 30th December 2014. My application got returned cos it didn't make the Global Cap but my plan B(NSNP) worked out cos i just got nominated. God bless you bro because you motivated me to apply to Nova Scotia when i thought my Fswp application was enough. |
Bro, i seriously don't think anyone would want to buy a naija used 06 passat for the listed price no matter how lean it may be...1.4m would get a very clean used 08/09 Toyota Camry SE. The previous one on here was even 950k https://www.nairaland.com/2192335/reg-2006-volkswagen-passat-950k#31548390 Just my opinion though. |

proftaiwo:Nobody cares if it is Nysc or not except if you decide to shoot yourself on the foot by stating it clearly in your application. Any work experience you get after studies(after the date on your Bachelor degrees certificate) can be used to gather point as long as your assessing body recognizes your qualification and sees your experience as relevant. |

solomonwis:Thanks solomon. Really Appreciate |
Hi guys, Just got AOR for my NSNP application submitted on the 12th of January and have been asked to provide my Express Entry Express Entry Profile Number and Job Seeker Validation Code. Dou you think i should edit my express entry profile and select only Nova scotia because i initially selected all Canadian provinces under the provincial nomination preference tab. Regards |

bossladyMo:Nice one bosslady. Expecting first hand info about the real immigrants life from you as time goes on...who knows, i may change my route sharply. After-all, i already have my Ielts and prepared my CDR for Engineers Australia assessment. |
ferdimako:Ferdi my man! Been a while and i'm sure you've nailed PTE cos i can see many people getting their desired scores...guess they are a little bit generous compared to IELTS. FSW is in progressand i'm waiting patiently...latest cc charge is Dec.15th. |
prost80:You can go for the technician option suggested by vetassess since its almost 100 percent sure that they would give you a positive assessment for it...thats if you're in a hurry. Another option is to go through Engineers Australia since you have an Engineers degree. |
prost80:Just look at it as one of the little challenges people encounter on their way to bigger things. What assessing body and what occupation did you apply for. Also got a negative response from vetassess last year because I used my OND only for a Civil engineering technician assessment instead of using my B.Tech which I thought would be too huge for an occupation like that. |
Meritl:There are no issue whatsoever if your school includes a copy of your certificate to your sealed transcript and send it directly to WES. That is what i did last year November and WES accepted it with no issues. It is very much cheaper, less stressful and faster. It would be accepted with 100 percent assurance as long as it is sent directly by your school. |
blueQueen:That is exactly what i did and i didn't have any issues with WES. There is no need to mail a copy of your certificate since it has been included in the transcript package your school sent to WES. |
okoomoge2:Never knew you were that Old and i'd really want to apologize on behalf of the thread members(your Children) for disrespecting their big Uncle. Now i understand when people say that age & wisdom aren't directly proportional cos you're the one behaving like a kid. This is a forum where aspiring immigrants come together to help themselves and reason together but the best thing you felt you could contribute is by coming here and talk about Australia's unemployment rate. There are lots and lots of BLACK SKINNED successful professionals & entrepreneurs even in the UK where unemployment is almost double compared to Australia. If you're finding things very difficult, diagnose yourself, detect where the problem lies and work on fixing it. Unemployment has always been a global issue and everyone is aware of that but you can NEVER compare Australia with Nigeria in any way....its not as if people on this thread are thinking of entering Australia and pick money on the streets. If you can graduate here in Nigeria, get certifications and land a good job in Nigeria without anybody's help, i see no reason why it should be tougher to land a good job in Australia if you get the right education and move with the right people. |
yeyeobab:Had about 60 percent in my account for about 4 months and submitted a copy of my fixed deposit certificate to balance it up. NSNP didnt mandate the 3 month statement thing but its always just better. Would forward the settlement sample to you...also got it online and just used it as a guide. Just write it in your own words and express yourself freely. |
princebimby:Application was filled by hand. Would send you the draft. |
yeyeobab:The forms can only be filled with a pen(preferably black). Statement of account is required at the submission stage. Just follow the document checklist and application instructions on the last page of the NSNP 100 form. |
Jetspeed:Its Nova scotia Demand: Express Entry. |
seunlovesa:Follow the application guide The info on the website page has been there even before this new PNP program opened and doesn't apply to all Nova scotia PNP programs. Federal forms are not needed for NSNP Express Entry applicants. |
seunlovesa:Kind read through this http://www.canadavisa.com/news/entry/nova-scotia-announces-details-of-its-express-entry-stream-for-canadian-immigration-01-01-15.html Only 150 applicants were selected last year. |
yomifowe:Got your pm. I have a sample(got it online) that i can send. To be honest, i didn't draft mine...just took my pen and started writing it on the form cos i really wanted to get my application sent yesterday to meet up. The pogram opened on the January 1st and the cap is 350, a lot of apps majorly from the indians and pakistanis would be sent between Monday till friday many apps and i'm sure DHL, UPS e.t.c. would start delivering apps sent on Monday starting from Tomorrow so just try to get your sent asap. NSNP unlike SINP choose applicants they feel would fit in and don't really use the first come, first serve rule but would definitely start considering apps in their order of arrival. |
