They are the same forms but intended for provincial nominee applicants except for some of the forms that are different (Schedule 4- Economic class - Provincial nominee) and some few other forms. These forms are meant to be filled and attached to your package in addition to your Nova scotia application forms and documents.
@austinice4 The instructions to include CIC forms to your account has been on the nova scotia immigration site for a long time and is required for skilled worker applicants(those ones with job offers). You don't need to include the federal forms for Nova Scotia Demand Express application...just download the application guide here http://novascotiaimmigration.com/wp-content/uploads/Nova-Scotia-Demand-Express-Entry-Pilot-Stream-Guidelines-December-2014.pdf and follow the document checklist. Police certificate is also not necessary except if you've been convicted before grin

Thanks. What is settlement plan and what am i to do?

Pls explain.
I drafted a summary of how i intend to settle and plan my future in Nova scotia. Started from acknowledging that my occupation is regulated by engineers nova scotia and made them understand i'm conversant with the whole licensure process. Also explain how i intend to land a job, work towards getting my P.Eng,, get more certifications e.t.c. Just write it in your own words in a simple way.

Don't worry I have downloaded it.

Thanks.
Okay bro, filling it shouldn't take time at all cos its almost a replica of the federal forms we submitted for FSW...only difference is the settlement plan. Just try to turn in your app asap cos Nova scotia is mainly on a first come, first serve basis as long as your application is complete with no errors. All the best bro.

In addition to the SINP that is currently ongoing ,the Novia Scotia province nomination scheme is out too....the instructions are almost the same with FSWP with little difference in the eligible NOC professions which is 29 for Novia Scotia.
Please go through the instructions manual below especially for those that have all documents ready but could not send for FSWP .
Please note that CLB 7 for IELTS still stands here (minimum of 6 in each of the 4 tests) and you also need minimum of 67 points.

Solomonwis already advised that applicants should weight options of preferred provincial to apply since you need to be careful as the provinces normally share information .
Other than limited professions here ,i feel comfortable with NSNP to SINP but i think it's relative to individual applicants.
Cheers
Really think I should consider this since its not going to cost me much other than another courier fee.
@Damkollins, Sent you a PM.

Hi everyone. UPS promised monday delivery but they defaulted, now i saw that my package (fsw) is in Dieppe, New brunswick as at this morning and this message was sent to me this morning.

'We've missed the scheduled transfer time. This may cause a delay.
We've incorrectly sorted the package at our facility. This may cause at least one business day delay.'
Can it still be delivered before close of business tomorrow?
Also had a similar issues last week Monday even before the package left Lagos and my delivery date was changed to 30th(Today) instead of 29th(Yesterday). My package got to Dieppe 12:01 am this morning and just got delivered about 30 minutes ago signed by Mike. Don't worry, your package would get there on time.

2.Between one or two days .
Between 5k and 15k depending on your negotiating skills...
I can dig into my archives to get a contact for you.......but why don't you just send your application since it's not mandatory for you to include it at the submission stage?
You can always submit it later during medical request when they will surely ask you.
3.You are perfectly fine.
You said 2 quick questions .......they were three grin

Hi Damkollins,
My application is almost ready to go...have 2 quick questions:

1. Can I submit a photocopy(black and white) of my fixed deposit certificate in addition to my original savings account bank statement?

2. How long does it take to get pcc from Alagbon and how much does it cost...would appreciate if there is any staff there that you can link me up with.

3. All other photocopies are in black and white including my passport front page. Would it be accepted?

Thanks

TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by johnsontade: 6:47pm On Dec 02, 2014
Hi guys, I have a quick question regarding my POF. I'm a single applicant and have about 1m fixed deposit(gotten from a property sale) which I just did last week and I have around 600k in my savings account waiting for some allowances which is about 300k to be paid around next week. That would make it a total amount if 1.9m and I want to know if submitting a copy of the fixed deposit certificate plus my saving account statement would be accepted considering the lodging date of the fixed deposit and the 300k allowance.

bossladyMo:
That's what they say, but it's not totally true. But the thing is most 189 and 190 prefer to live in the capital, not the regional areas...so employers in the regional areas are left with the regional visa holders, who are required to live there. Also, except in cases like mine where my occupation was moved, some 489 applicants were fprced to go the 489 route because of their low English language skills making them score low on the points table...so when they go for jnterviews, they dont get it and attribute it to the kind of visa they hold. The only positions 489ers are mostly not employed in, is bigh ranking positions in financial institutions.

The only snag is the childcare costs and if you apply for any kind of loan, you're not able to take long-term loans.

In life I've learnt to not ride on 'dem say'. If I had, I wouldn't be getting this grant I got. Just to pray for God's leading and favour.
You're very right...Pray God perfects everything...would definitely visit OZ from Canny to feel the sunlight and see their beautiful beaches. smiley

bossladyMo:
Amen!!!

Yeaaa! That's true. Canada isn't bad either...might just take a bit longer...although I heard AVO is now processing faster.
Yea, Canada is cool and i prefer it cos of its proximity to the US and the booming oil & gas industry in Alberta & Saskatchewan. The processing is also now very much fast especially for single applicants like me. I didn't go for 489 cos of the stories of how employer's prefer 189 & 190 immigrants. Checking through www.anzscosearch.com and i can see that my occupation (Civil Engineer) is always available for 190 in at least 4-5 states which puts my mind to rest knowing that i can switch to Australia as plan B as long as my Ielts result remains valid.
TravelRe: General Australian Visa Enquiries by johnsontade: 11:15am On Nov 17, 2014
Congrats @bossladymo...can remember we started it together before Vetassess bounced me cos i used my OND instead of B.Tech in order to gain points for post graduation work experience. Almost thought of ditching the work experience point by going through Engineers Australia assessment and go for 489 to get 10 point just like you did but i'm presently sailing on the Canada Fswp boat which i'm very much okay with. Wishing you God's favour as you start a new chapter.

okejji: If you need the IELTS materials and training demo. I have enough materials that can give you 8.0. I have cambridge ielts 1-10(complete set) available and others. If you need it contact 07061627185
You don't need to put your phone number if you really want to help people by giving it out for free, ask for their email address and send it to them. I've done ielts and had 8.0 overall...there is no big deal in it and i see no reason why you should be advertising and asking people to contact you privately.
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by johnsontade: 11:22am On Aug 10, 2014
solomonwis: In reference to the bold and at the risk of sounding pessimistic that December application date is way too far for that eligible occupation.

I see a lot of people diverting from some occupations that will quickly reach the cap limit to that eligible occupation just so they can fill up the spaces available. So I'd say whatever you have to do,please do it quickly.

This is however not to conclude that my projection/estimation is absolutely correct..The space might still be open up until the December that you wish to apply and if not,Express Entry will be starting in January 2015...
Thanks Solomonwis, I understand you fully well but I dont have a choice than to wait till then before applying in order to claim the 11 point for 2 yrs work experience else I would be short of 67 points. I'd hope the 1000 slot doesn't get filled up before then. Last yr cap was 300 and it got filled up october ending...know there are lot of people applying but i'm kinda optimistic i'd make it. From my calculation, it would take about 35 complete Civil engineering noc applications per week to fill up the 1000 slot from May 1st till November ending.

technolee: It is all good. I wish you all the best.
The reason I was skeptical is cos someone said my ielts point will give me 20 and not 23 because my listening score is not up to 8.0 which puts me on CLB 8. I guess the person calculated it according to the CLB and not separately according to the 4 different ability.
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by johnsontade: 9:28am On Aug 10, 2014
technolee: In this game, 67points and 100points carries the same weight. Don't be skeptical over what doesn't exist!. Go ahead and apply. Hope your IELTS is for general training? Have you evaluated your credential too??
Ielts is General training. Just about to start my credential evaluation...plan to apply by december cos that is when my calculated work experience would clock 2yrs as I started working November 2012. Can apply for either Civil Engineer noc or Construction estimator noc cos my job description fits in for both occupations.

Hello house, Been following this thread for a very long time but wasn't really into Canada because I was initially keen on Australia. I calculated my points and would want to know ig i'm accurate or not. This is my breakdown;

Age- btw18-35 = 12 points
B.Tech (Civil Engineering) = 21 points
2 years work exp= 11 points
Ielts- Listening (7.5) = 5 points
Speaking (8.0) = 6 points
Reading (8.5) = 6 points
Writing (7.0) = 6 points
Total = 67 points.
Is my calculation accurate and am I good to go cos i'm kinda skeptical about applying with exactly 67 points. Would appreciate your inputs.

Got it. Thanks bro
TravelRe: General Australian Visa Enquiries by johnsontade: 11:54am On Aug 02, 2014
gogochocolate: In addition if you have done large civil engineering project make sure you use work planning documents to guide you in your writing. You should make sure you communicate to the assessor your project objectives, step by step methodology of how u implemented solution and innovative solutions you used. Reading PMP book Would help you answer questions on how you worked with other team mates. I hope this helps.
Thanks for the detailed explanation...i would need the cdr sample and i'm very much aware of their strictness against plagiarism. You can send it to me via email. The only issue I have is that I don't have much years of work experience but i've been involved is a semi-large project.

gogochocolate: Just got a positive acknowledgement from engineers australia. Any engineer can ask me question and I will try and answer. Thank you to senior members of the forum for answering questions.
Congrats bro. I'm a Civil Engineer and initially wanted to go through Engineers Australia for my assessment before trying the lazy shorter route of Vetassess(all because of the CDR report wahala) but got a negative outcome because i tried assessing as a Civil Engineering Technician using only my OND result. I never should have tried the technician route cos i won't be able to claim i'm an engineer even after getting to Aussie successfully till i reassess myself through Engineer Australia using my University degree which means i can't escape going through them. I have my Ielts already and i'm preparing to apply for my EA assessment...would really need you to guide me through in writing my CDR as well as other necessary documents i'm required to submit. Sent you a PM. Regards
