A little digression here

I witnessed a terrible accident early this morning on my way back from work, an elderly woman was crossing the road when an overly speeding golf car hit her, I looked back and saw her lying on the ground.

She was taken to the hospital, I just hope she will survive it because it was serious, she was bleeding, she knocked her head on the tarred road.

I felt very bad this morning

for where? I saw the same thing this morning.

I remember alot of fans on my twitter TL complaining about the unavailability of this movie across different stores when it was released newly on bluray.

I hope the flash movie doesn't turn DC's trinity into power puff girls and I hope it actually has a story that has all sections of DC fans excited for the future of the DCEU. that being said, you would be delusional to think that snyder is the problem with the DCEU.

WB did him dirty and I will never forget that. I just hope they get things right this time.

one of the things I loved about the joker movie was the portrayal of the death of batman's parents, it resonated more with me than that of batman begins.
That being said, I am not sure a sequel is a move in the right direction.

Titans season 3, really a big improvement from the previous two seasons, Redhood is the first villian they are doing right, Dude is a real threat both mentally and physically.

It didn't. In 2005, CBMs didn't make that big bucks like now. Besides, the fact Batman has been over done was one factor, coupled with it being an origin story. Bros, your argument doesn't stand in alot of ways cause there have been films that were critically acclaimed that it's sequel underperformed financially even while having critical praise. And also there were films that have been bad that still generate big bucks time and again. Transformers. Besides, Superman returns didn't affect MOS box office did it? Or did Justice league affect Aquaman?
Yes, there are instances where it affects but not when the film has critics praising it.

the horrors of Josstice league that was still fresh in peoples mind didn't have any negative impact on Aquaman's BO, Na SS of 5 years ago dey affect TSS. Even if it's SS 2016 that caused it, whoose fault is that SS 2016 was a critical failure.

Half of them are already expecting a new movie to fail, based on the trailers.

Now they're going to ruin Aquaman II because Amber Heard is still in it - cause they can't separate an actors personal life from their professional life, hiding behind their phones like they're leading good lives themselves.

Aquaman's issue is not restricted to DC fans, I think it's just Depp's fans in general. They feel that since Depp lost his job Amber should too, the fact that makes it more interesting is that they work(ed) for the same company, so some might feel that there is double standard at play.
I'm still all in for Aquaman no matter happens, Jason Momoa deserves it.

I think the reason why people are shocked that TSS underperformed at the B.O was the hype around it, the movie was hyped by critics as one of the best CBM's while it's not even close.

To me it's just an average movie so the B.O performance is not shocking to me, the movie couldn't even outperform mortal Kombat on HBO max goes to prove covid is not the only factor, it's an average movie although it's way better than mortal Kombat ( probably cause of it's larger budget for both production and marketing).

Blaming the underperformance on SS 2016 is laughable because one of the movies major marketing strategies was that Gunn was given creative freedom to do whatever he wants to with the movie.
But I still believe that TSS will perform moderately well at the box office.
Piracy is also a huge issue.

PS. I enjoyed the movie though. Just my 2 cents on the matter.

The movie is simply awesome...
Entertaining from beginning to end..
Gunn had me empathize with the characters throughout their arcs...
Seeing how well Margot keeps on portraying the Harley character. I've realised her movie didn't fail because people didn't want a Harley movie per se, It simply failed because they got all the other character characterizations wrong.

A small nitpick though....
1)-Who else felt the thinker for all his alleged intelligence didn't show any.... Infact...That guy no get sense....
2)- Not checking if Weasel could swim because of his biology before hand felt weird to me....

N.B ....The could make suicide squad the team up movie of the DCEU....The Justice league clearly has a lot of issues both with the actors and the audience......

P.S ...King Shark's the GOAT

I was quite disappointed with the way the thinker was portrayed, the thinker in CW flash series was way better considering how bad the show is.
Gunn should have used an ordinary scientist rather than him, what a waste of potential.
