If Abuad could run top up, I see no reason why FUOYE can't. However, am sure of KWASU
OK. I heard top up programs generally are not accredited by NUC. And might pose as a threat in future for those that wants to go into academics. How true?

I recommend ABU's distance learning program, that's if your degree falls within the courses they offer. You can complete your BSc. in as little as 2 years and it has NUC's accreditation...
wow thank you. Where is their distance learning centers and approximately how much will be spent?

It depends on the target institution you want to work as a lecturer. Some universities will not employ you as lecturer even if you have Ph.D except you have a first degree while most polytechnics will employ you with your HND-PGD- MSc-Ph. D. So having a degree offer you some advantage. The is my take.

That
Thanks for the advice...please what do you think about conversion (HND to BSC)..?

Please I need your advice, it's very urgent.

I finished my HND at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic with distinction in Food Technology. I really want to further but I am a bit confused. I have 2 options to choose from, please which of these options would be good for my career, since I want to Lecture.

Options
1. Do direct entry with my HND to 300 level, to get my BSC then proceed to MSC then PhD

OR

2. Use my HND to do PGD (biomedical engineering), then MSC , PhD

Please which option is better?....Thanks in advance!!!

I finished my HND at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic with distinction in Food Technology. I am thinking of doing direct entry to unilag to study food science. My question is does food science department in unilag accept direct entry from HND, if yes will I start from 300 level. Another question is can I do part time and lastly do you have idea of the cost of the direct entry form?

Thanks in advance!!!

You are always welcome. I understand that it is possible to apply for Chinese Scholarship even with H.N.D. That is a good opportunity to convert the H.N.D to Master's degree.
Wow! How do I go about it please?

Hello, sorry I am just replying,I thought I already did. I would strongly advice you do a PGD if you would like to explore different Master's opportunities especially on scholarship basis.

I don't think NYSC supports that @schooling while serving.

You can expose yourself to more opportunities if you can go pass your HND qualification. Hope you understand?
Thank you so much sir!

Hello Joiceee,

Although unilag dont accept HND in so many courses, lucky enough you can apply for direct masters with your HND albeit in limited courses.
I have 3 recommendations for you:

1. do a pgd in biomedical engineering which you qualify for and then use that to apply for any Msc of your choice in science which I guess you are looking for

2. Use your HND degree to go straight for Msc biomedical engineering

3. You go for MBA directly with your HND

whichever you decide, make sure its what you really want to do.

All the best.

would I still be able to do my pHD with the results from your recommendations?
