Good evening dear Nairalanders.

As we all know, our electronic market is full of China made TV set, which many people say are fake LG TV. These TV sets are gaining ground obviously because of their cheap prices.

Right now, I'm in a position to buy an LG TV 32". As a result of the bad Economic situation, I'm being tempted to buy the China made LG TV in order to save cost.

Pls I need your experience with the so called fake LG TV. Honest response will be appreciated.

I recently bought a fake 32" LG TV. I knew it was fake but went ahead to buy because I was getting it dirt cheap. I bought from someone who had only used it for 3 weeks for N25k! he actually didn't know it was fake when he bought it for N55k so I leveraged on that to get a real bargain. so how do you know a fake LG TV? firstly if you look very closely at the carton in which it is packed, careful observation will reveal that the LG written on it is a different hue from the other writings on the carton because it was painted on it as an after job! this also applies to the LG written on the tv and the remote controller. again if you see made in china on the TV, it's fake! LG TVs are made in Korea! when the TV is switched on, if you're familiar with LG TVs, you will notice a very different UI from what you are used to and remote controllers of genuine LG TVs will not operate fake LG TVs and vice versa. lastly, fake LG TVs feel much lighter than the genuine ones in weight. Hope this helps.
from my personal experience, however, I don't regret my purchase because the picture quality of the TV compares very well with my other genuine LGs (one is a 3D smart tv). the sound quality is excellent for a TV and it plays most video formats.

you plug to hdmi arc. Hdmi arc parses just sound and won't require you to switch to it. If you don't have hdmi arc, you would have to use Aux or OPTICAL cable

I'm currently a non academic staff in a federal University. Though I wish to get converted to an academic staff after my Masters degree, which I'm currently running.

Last night I had a dream that I got an unmerited promotion. I saw people openly complaining that I'm not supposed to be promoted to that level. I even had to exchange words with one of them asking him if he had never gotten an unmerited favour since he started his career.

Firstly, Edo Central has always voted PDP. and they will vote PDP again. another thing is according to the rotational method in Edo the next governor is coming from Edo central in 2024. but if they vote APC , pastor will want two terms , that's to say they will not see governor till another 8 years. remember the last time they produced governor, it was short leaved by oshiomhole court victory .


Edo South will be decided , and Obaseki will take the lion share with the power of incumbent, plus the fact that the people of Edo south are tired of Oshiomhole and Tony Kabaka.
