DragonFire433: Simple research you cannot do before you invest your money and you think you are wise ?
Last Mugu.
You probably stole the money you want to invest, if not you would take time to do little research.
If an illiterate is behaving like this, it is understandable. This your stupid behavior is not expected from someone who claims to be a post graduate student of UNN.
You are a Total disgrace to UNN. You are a disgrace to your department. Your parents and lecturers are shaking their head.
If you cannot do research on nairaland before you invest, how can you do research in school before you graduate ?
You have probably made up your mind to “block” lecturers so that you can graduate. People like you are the problem of Nigeria.
Shame on your stupid, lazy self. You should control how u talk to people on a public forum. Insulting people won't make u better |

toivar: Well everyone will receive according to their level in the govt service but I know someone that's a teacher in Federal govt girls college in Benin city edo state, he received additional 11 or 12k per month. At the end he received like 105-110k which covers a period of April to December 2019 and that amount was added to the minimum wage before the arrears came around December last year. So for the teriary institution workers that have not received since April last ur till now, u can do the calculation. That's about 15months arrears. I think if u in level 9, u may take additional like 14-15k additional Pay rise. So for those teriary workers that have not received minimum wage, once u pay rises significantly this week Friday when they pay, just know that the minimum wage will hit the following week. It's a 3-4days interval. Are u saying the minimum wage has not been added to tertiary institutions salary already? |

Feedback: Based on the advices given here, I later got a China made 32" HD LED LG TV (fake LG TV if I may say ) and I must confess, the picture quality and the sound is wow. Very sharp. Got it 40k. The least I got of the so called original LG of the same spec is 66k. At least make I use the remaining 26k hold body for this Coro period God bless you all for ur advice. I'm currently enjoying my TV, u can join me

kellybently: In a nutshell, HDMI 2.0 is designed to handle more bandwidth than HDMI 1.4. Both can deliver 4K video, but HDMI 2.0 can transfer up to 18Gbps whereas HDMI 1.4 can only transfer up to 10.2Gbps.
If you want to make sure that your HDMI cable supports Ultra HD 4K resolution, you have to look for the HDMI High Speed Logo on the cable's packing. The cable itself normally does not carry the logo but should rather read the claim “HDMI High Speed”. I very much appreciate |

kellybently: HDMI have different specifications. Most HDMI available in the market are 1.6. U can't enjoy the 4k experience with it. 2.0 HDMI is higher version.
Most HDMI that come with Home theatre are 2.0. Thanks bro. So how do I identify the 2.0 HDMI in case I want to buy? |

Let me school all zombies cum Tinubu slaves about Edo politics.
The odds are against APC Firstly, Edo Central has always voted PDP and they will vote PDP again. Another thing is that according to the rotational method in Edo, the next Governor is coming from Edo Central in 2024, but if they vote APC, Pastor will want two terms, that's to say they will not see Governor till another 8 years. Remember the last time they produced governor, it was short leaved by Oshiomhole's court victory.
Edo South will be the decider and Obaseki will take the lion share with the power of incumbency, plus the fact that the people of Edo South are tired of Oshiomhole and Tony Kabaka.
Edo north will also greatly be divided 50/50, because Obaseki's Deputy is another ruthless grassroot politician. The immediate past Speaker of the State House of Assembly from Edo North too, will help share the spoils.
Not to forget to mention the fact that, Oshiomhole was suspended in his ward in Edo north where he has greatly lost popularity . The chance APC stand in this election is rigging, which Obaseki should be working towards neutralising with his power of incumbency and arrange his own rigging mechanism cos las las nothing should be taken for granted. |

shrewdmuse: Buying a Tv in Nigeria requires due diligence, about 2 years ago I was looking for a good FHD Tv.
I checked the prices on Fouani website and noticed they were higher than the same model sold on Jumia.
I decided to go online and research how to identify a fake LG from a real one. It paid off, went on Jumia ordered an LG Tv with the pay on delivery and pick up station option.
Lo and behold it was a packaged fake LG Tv. I simply added the extra cash went to Fouani showroom and bought my new Tv there.
It totally paid off, been enjoying the Tv to date without any single issue. So u didn't collect the one from Jumia? |

iyke926: I was running away from LG and Samsung TV because lot of fakes in the market..saw one Xiaomi Tv on Jumia. Finally, made up my mind to buy the Xiaomi TVs because of the 5 star ratings and I also did some research about Mi TVs. It was good from reviews
On the delivery day, I saw an LG serial number on the fake Xiaomi TV carton (pack). I wanted rejecting it starighht up but something else told me to check it out first. Took it home, noticed the remote control was a fake LG TV's remote with MI inscribed on it.
Connected my decoder and was surprised at the sweet HD picture quality. Next day, I got a mail to review the fake Xiaomi logoed fake TV, then logged on to Jumia to see a pop up for a review...I gave them a star and made some real comment about the TV, just like I did here. It's been months now and I still get the pop ups for probably a 5 star rating. I no fit.
Enjoying the TV... nothing lasts forever. Interesting...so one can get a good quality from the so called fake TVs. Thank u for this |

Oluwabusobomi: symbianDON wrote:
I recently bought a fake 32" LG TV. I knew it was fake but went ahead to buy because I was getting it dirt cheap. I bought from someone who had only used it for 3 weeks for N25k! he actually didn't know it was fake when he bought it for N55k so I leveraged on that to get a real bargain. so how do you know a fake LG TV? firstly if you look very closely at the carton in which it is packed, careful observation will reveal that the LG written on it is a different hue from the other writings on the carton because it was painted on it as an after job! this also applies to the LG written on the tv and the remote controller. again if you see made in china on the TV, it's fake! LG TVs are made in Korea! when the TV is switched on, if you're familiar with LG TVs, you will notice a very different UI from what you are used to and remote controllers of genuine LG TVs will not operate fake LG TVs and vice versa. lastly, fake LG TVs feel much lighter than the genuine ones in weight. Hope this helps. from my personal experience, however, I don't regret my purchase because the picture quality of the TV compares very well with my other genuine LGs (one is a 3D smart tv). the sound quality is excellent for a TV and it plays most video format Thanks for sharing...I appreciate this |
