I won't say much about this matter cos I'm not even sure about the existence of any rift between Nnewi and Ozubulu as regards host rights. But if what InyinyaAgbaoku posted here is true, then I still stand by what i said. I don't even know the site of the structure, I've never seen it but if at all it is on Ozubulu land then its foolish to expect Ozubulu council of elders to cede that land to Nnewi cos of a flimsy excuse like innitial location. Like i said earlier, Nnewi already hosts the college of medical sciences, there is nothing wrong in putting Ozubulu in the map too. How i wish Udoji were still alive.

The permanent site is being built on a land belonging to ozubulu proper but nnewi people aside being reluctant to lose the hospital to another community, they also do not want the name, 'NAUTH nnewi' to elude them because they feel they had contributed immensely to the development of the hospital and wl want the nomenclature of the new hospital to remain 'nnewi' teaching Hosp if the hospital must be moved to the permanent site at ozubulu .

Ozubulu people on the other hand will not have a structure built on their land bear 'nnewi' or sth else instead of ozubulu.
The headship of the hospital has being from the nnewi clan so far, hence works have not being going on there at ozubulu site .

It's so unfortunate because the 90% gigantic edifice is wasting away.

If that is actually what is delaying the completion of the hospital then i think Nnewi people should be called to order. The hospital is Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital and NOT Nnewi university Teaching Hospital. No sane Ozubulu elder would permit a structure in Ozubulu to be named after Nnewi. Though the two communities share some things in common but they are in different local govts. Maters like this can't be toyed with to avoid problems in future. Nnewi already host the medical college, the main campus of unizik is in Awka, school of pharmaceutical sciences in Agulu, School of prescience studies in Mbaukwu and school of Agric studies in Ifite Ogwari (not sure). What's wrong in adding Ozubulu to the picture?

It was a shocking and devastating news to the entire people of Plateau State when the broke ending October of the demise of a young vibrant leader Senator GNS Pwajok who contested at the last April's Governorship election under the platform of the PDP which he eventually lost the election to APC's Bar. Simon Lalong with a very slim margin.

They've been at the election tribunal since then until the of October when the final verdict went the APC's way. Meanwhile, late GNS really fell sick after the election and had been receiving medical attention abroad. Unfortunately, two days after the verdict, God called him home to rest.

Today, his body has been laid to rest.

Part of the reason why i broke up with my ex was because of this birthday gift ishh. The girl was so obsessed with her birthday and kept reminding me that I'll get her a gift. You know how FG treats any project in Igboland.

A pity. I just hope they deliver a standard and well equipped facility when they finally decide to finish the project.
