Every experience you have with men, be it good or bad, is a lesson meant to teach you how it feels when you do the same to others. When God brings men to your aid, He does that to prepare you to do likewise to others!

The Lord has been so gracious to us right from the day of our birth and has brought us this far in the journey of destiny. Have you ever at any point thought about what would have happened to you if no one cared about you after your birth and just left you as a day-old child to fend for yourself? The fact that you are reading this, signifies that God has sent several men to help you in this life.

There is no doubt about the fact that you have faced both the positive and negative sides of life, and you have had both bad and good experiences with men. The bad experience you have is meant to teach you what it feels like to have a bad experience, help people who are having it, and ensure that your actions don't make people have it.

When God brings people to help you pay your bills (rent, school fees, hospital bills, debt), connect you to a job and greatness, help you in business and career, and build you up academically and spiritually, it is also to make you know how it feels to enjoy such grace. God does most of these to prepare us to do likewise. As you enjoy His grace in different dimensions of life, you must always remember the words of the Lord, which say: Go and do likewise. Be mindful of the fact that the best part of your existence is the part you lived blessing other people.

Lord! Make me a blessing to my world in Jesus' name. Amen!!!

There is nothing we have that was not given to us. God graciously makes everything abound for us to ensure that our lives work out according to plan!

Our God is the Lord of heaven, earth, and the sea; to Him be all praise and glory. He is a gracious God who rules all the affairs of men.

Despite the population of the entire universe, we do not lack food, water, or other necessities. As a living soul this day, you are highly indebted to Him for all the blessings of the earth.

For giving us a peaceful home with sound health, we need to always praise God. For everything He has done and will do, you must glorify Him. Take some time and appreciate the giver of all things.

Lord! I worship you, the giver of all, who made everything available for us. May your name be praised in Jesus' name. Amen!!!

You have not prayed until you have commanded the presence of God into the affair of your life. Whatever a man thinks he has is nothing if God is not standing by his side to bring His word to pass in his life. This life is characterized by several untold mysteries which require God's intervention. You must always be sure of God's presence. Early material possession is irrelevant in the battle of life and there is a limit to which any man can go with you on the journey of destiny; because no one promised never to leave nor forsake you except for God alone (Isa 43:2).

The journey of destiny is personal and all men who appear to support you do that temporarily. Hence, a time is coming when you will have to face your destiny alone and at such times you need God. There is a magnitude of the fire, water and storm that a man cannot withstand or bear except God on your behalf. Don't allow God to abandon you on the account of your disobedience to His word, relationship with men, aspirations, quest for money or material possession of life.

+ Do you have the assurance of God's presence in your pursuit?

Lord! Without your presence in my life, there is nothing; do not leave me in Jesus' name. Amen!

Focus: A Grievous Evil

WORD FOR TODAY
There is no evil as grievous as labouring but not allowed to enjoy the fruit of labour. It is God that allows and strengthens a man to labour and at the same time enjoy the fruit of labour!!!

Life has indicated that it is a thing to labour it is another thing to enjoy the fruit of labour. As we proceed in destiny, we must be mindful of the fact that God rules in the affairs of men and must be acknowledged in everything we do.

The life of the Rich fool was cut short when he thought he should settle and enjoy the fruit of his labour (Luke 12:16–21). The Midianites oppressed the Israelites by harvesting their crops at the time of harvest leaving them to wallow in hunger (Judges 6).

It is a very painful experience for a man to experience shame at the time he should manifest His Glory or experience sorrow when he is expected to be joyful. Acknowledge God in all your ways and always ask for the grace to enjoy the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Every dream is good for a man who is indeed a child of God. Dream as a means through which God speaks to His people either reveals what God is about to do or the evil plans of the enemy!!!

God speaks to men using diverse means. However, most of the time, men tend not to listen to or identify His voice as a result of the noisy nature of the earth emanating from various cares and worries of life.

But at night when no man can work and when various noises are no longer there; God speaks to men in their dreams. This makes dreams an important platform for receiving divine instruction and revelation.

Nevertheless, it is important for us not to dwell only on this means to hear from God. We should try as much as possible to create time to listen to our spirit as the Lord uses various situations to speak to us. Also, the evil one can use the same platform to make known to us what he also wants to do.

We will be deceiving ourselves if we think that the devil is not after us intending to perform his enterprise. He is ever ready to steal, kill and destroy. Irrespective of the dream that comes your way as a child of God you have every right to bring it into subjection to obey Christ through His word.

If it goes in line with His promises over your life according to His word you need to pray towards it becoming a reality.

The Lord will surely accomplish whatever He starts in your life. You are not an abandoned project. The work of the Lord is in progress in your life if and only if you are walking and working in His will.

When it seems as if you are abandoned and things are not working according to His words in your life; be careful not to lose faith in Him nor doubt what He has said. The Lord in His way workout things according to His good pleasure. You must allow Him to take absolute Glory over your life. Don't live a double-standard life.

Wait properly on God to accomplish His work. The lives of the likes of Ruth, Hannah, Abraham, David, and Joseph looked abandoned at a point but God in His way achieved His purpose with their lives. Don't help God in any way to do His work in your life because as a principle He doesn't share His Glory with any man.

The Lord who took care of you and brought you this far is still the same. From the history of your life; you must have been sick, in need, jilted, at loss and even in a terrible situation in life. However, you are where you are today. The whole thing is now a story for God's Glory because you scaled through.

You witnessed this day because there is a tomorrow and that your life is a work in progress in the hands of God.

If your past seems to be bitter and your today seems hopeless; don't forget that the God who helped you scale through the hurdles of the past remains the same and holds your future. If it seems as if you are fortunate be mindful of the fact that the next moment is characterized by uncertainty; however, your consolation is that God is the God of yesterday, today and the future. Trust your future in His hands.

In this life, nothing goes for nothing. A man who pointed his finger towards others is indirectly pointing four other fingers at himself. Beware of what you give at every point in time because they determine your lot and fortune in life. Life is designed to give you multiple whatever you sow in different dimensions of life.

A man who is not happy with the progress of others will not find happiness as far as progress is concerned in his life. A man who sows a seed of hatred, discord and disagreement to rise further in life will be the same reap hatred, discord, and disagreement in multiple folds.

Whatever you sow you will reap, you cannot mock God. Do not be weary in doing good because the measure with which you measure towards others will be measured back to you multiple folds. At all times, allow the Spirit of God to find expression in your life to know what to give, when to give, how to give, and who to give to in every facet of life.

The first and foremost best medication required for a man to stay alive and healthy is good food. Whatever makes you abhor food takes you to the gate of death!!!

An indication that a man is advancing towards the gate of death will be seen when his soul abhors all manner of food. To go forth in life and fulfil your mandate in destiny you must avail yourself to eat appropriately. The recommendation of God to Elijah to go on with the assignment given to him is to eat.

Men will not but sick when this happens, the first medication is food, which is to be followed by whatever is required to be taken to restore good health. Don't allow your aliment to hinder you from eating. Every effort made to prevent you from eating is an effort made towards the gate of death.

This is also applicable to your spiritual, marital, career and academic life. The word of God is the best food for your soul. When you stop eating or feeding your soul with the required food in various aspects of life you sign up for death!!!!

Life is a test. When God places a man in a leadership position, He subjects him to the test of righteousness and how much he can reverence Him. Most of the time, those in leadership positions are not always the best set of individuals available in such a domain but mostly those who are privileged.

When you find yourself in the capacity of employing men, determining the fortune of people, administering funds, transferring people, impacting younger lives, having access to people's information, and saving lives do it in righteousness and the fear of God.

It is when you do this that your life will be like the light of the morning when the sun rises, a morning without clouds, like the tender grass springing out of the earth, by clear shining after rain. (2Sam 23:4). Be conscious of the fact that life is a temporary assignment. After your rule, people will either bless or curse you and your life will become a reverence point based on the peculiarity of your deeds.

Lord! Help me to live in righteousness and reverence you with godly awe in Jesus' name. Amen!!!

The worst thing that can happen to a man is that he does not wait for God's visitation. Every man who departs from a divine place and purpose will live to hear about divine visitation over God's people!!

The Lord does not abandon His people. He always keeps His word to them. Even when they sin, His wrath lasts only a moment. He makes His mercies available at the appropriate time. Whatever you are going through, the word of His visitation will reach you very soon.

There will be no generation that does not face famine. Naomi's family fled God's inheritance into the land of Moab to protest God's dealing (famine). Their lives, however, deteriorated. Several men have missed a specific heavenly visitation because they abandoned their posts, assignments, and what God wants them to be.

Your work for the Lord is not in vain. Your faithfulness, righteousness, and consecration will be rewarded when the time comes. The Lord will undoubtedly visit you in due course. Remain in Him and surrender to His dealings in your life. Grow in obedience and His Grace. Very soon it will be said of you that God has visited you.

A composer sang that "Your life is a book before the eyes of people and they read it through and through". People may not say a word about you but they are mindful of what your life represents after a closer watch over your life with time. In everything, you do be mindful of the fact that your life is under watch.

People know if you can be trusted with issues that have to do with young lives, women, money and position of authority. They know the type of committee you should be placed in as a result of your faithfulness, commitment and fruitfulness.

A teacher assisted some students engaging in examination malpractices by supplying answers to questions. Someone asked the students after the examination: "Can you recommend the teacher or any of the students that engaged in examination malpractices to handle the treasury of the nation?" They answered: No, because "we are all thieves including the teacher"

You are doing yourself great harm if you are not an example of a believer. You are expected as a believer to be an ambassador of Christ wherever you find yourself. Do not fail God but always allow Him to work in you to do His good pleasure.

Lord! Help me to be an example of believers in the word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity in Jesus' name. Amen!!!

One of those things you must be very sure of as you embark on various activities in the journey of destiny is God's approval of your ways. You are not sure of success until the Lord makes your way prosperous.

In 2 Sam 5, no man opposed David from becoming King. No man opposed Joseph from becoming the prime minister of Egypt despite being a slave prisoner. These men fulfilled their mandate despite the battle against their lives because the Lord made their ways prosperous.

Things will remain difficult, your antagonist will be having a record of success and your progress to the next level will be hindered until the Lord makes your ways prosperous. In every issue that has to do with matters of great importance in destiny, you must not gamble about it. You must diligently seek God and ensure he is with you in your adventure. You will only become irresistible on the pathway of progress when the Lord stands by your side to bring your words to pass.

Life is characterized by several issues which are peculiar to every individual. It takes courage to live successfully in this life. There is no other way to fail in destiny than to allow your heart to fail in every quest to fulfill your mandate in life.

In our text, David and his men cried until they had no strength to cry due to what befell them (1Sam 30:1-5). But the situation remained the same until they found courage and strength in the Lord. Don't allow anything to hinder you from pursuing your dreams. We will not but overcome various hurdles of life to be fulfilled.

If you are sick, It is not time to give up but time to find strength in the Lord to recover. If your business, academics, marriage or ministry is failing, it is not a time to let go but a time to brace up and keep faith alive for outstanding testimonies.

Amid discouragement, encourage yourself to be in charge of your destiny. No man will do that for you. Hence, take charge and fulfill your mandate.

No man will become what God did not plan for him to be. You don't need to struggle illegitimately to become anything in life but to grow into what God wants you to be. At best, struggling illegitimately for relevance can bring a man to the limelight but his weakness will be made open to all. The only way to relevance and significance in life is to grow in the grace God made available for you in every aspect of life.

David did not kill anyone to become King, he waited for his time and entered into Gods plan for his life. Absalom is ready to pull down just any man even if it is his father or member of his family; however, he did not achieve his aim because God did not give him. Whatever you are not given by God you can never have. Even if you force it on yourself you will keep struggling because the joy and the fulfilment of having it can never be yours.

Lord! I receive the grace to grow into what you want me to be in Jesus name. Amen!!!

The fact that some awful situation in life is inevitable doesn't change the fact that you have the right to be glad in the land of the living!!!

The Lord is not ignorant of what you've been through in the journey of destiny. His plan concerning your life is of peace and that you should have an expected end. No matter how bad or rough your journey has been in destiny, God can still make it up to you and bring all your good dreams to reality.

In the calendar of God, there are various times and seasons. It is not in His plan that all your days will be filled with sorrow. He is ready to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified. (Isa 61:3).

With man, it may appear impossible but with God all things are possible. You need to keep trusting and praying to God to make up for every blessing you have missed and the afflictions you have suffered.

Every man who has received the gift of salvation must not be ignorant of who he is expected to be: a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's own special people; who had been called out of darkness into His marvellous light to proclaim His praises. What you do and live for, as well as your disposition to various issues of life determines values. Your actions at every point in time determine God's place value in your life.

It is not everything that appears not to be a sin that you can do as a Christian. Your appearance speaks volumes of your values whether worldliness or godliness. Apostle Paul has the right to several things which are not considered sins but he refused to claim it because of his calling. He denied himself to please God and to make his election sure.

Looking around today, we cannot help but notice some evil men who have no regard for God's word or pay close attention to His will yet appear to flourish in various aspects of life.

The Lord did not order the immediate removal of the tares among the wheat in the parable of the wheat and tares but rather allowed it to compete for the available resources. The tares may appear beautiful, but the fact remains that they are doomed to destruction.

Are you enjoying life at the expense of others? Are you living contrary to the will of God? Are you an agent of darkness? These acts are regarded as wickedness before God! Don't be tempted to judge your life using physical achievement as a benchmark to measure how successful you are. Every element of wickedness in you presents you with destruction!

The life we have today was never our idea but God's idea. The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." The implication of this is that it was the Lord who designed your life; He determined your parent, sex, birthday, height, skin complexion, voice and nature of your hair. All this was done even before you became conscious of yourself.

No one can count the hairs on a man's head, but Jesus said that each one has a number. This implies that the Lord has a plan for us and that nothing happens to us without his knowledge. What we have become was made possible by His grace, and what we will become will be solely by His grace. The Lord, who knows what will happen tomorrow, knows what to do about the problems in your life. As a result, honour God with your life and acknowledge Him in all that you do.

Sometimes in the time of a storm, we tend to ask questions as the disciples did; " Lord, don't you care that we are perishing?" The action of the Lord in our text revealed the fact that He cares for them.

The Lord's body language may tend to be slow or show no actions. It is the test of your faith. Don't go out of the ship. As a result of this attitude, many people find it difficult to wait for God's salvation and miss their glorious destiny. Gehazi missed the ship taking him towards the plan of God for Him and became leprous.

Everything tempting you to disobey God is meant to take you out of the ship God prepared for your glorious destiny and plant your feet on sinking sand.

Some people are nobody but can be of great help to you in the days to come. Naaman could never have believed that it was through the maid of his wife that he would be healed of his leprosy.

Handle your relationship with care; you might not know if your future depends on it. Be mindful of the fact that there is a measure of God in the lives of all men created by him. Hence, treat all men you come across with due respect. The calibre of people you relate with also influences what you will become.

In every circumstance, you find yourself the will of God for you is to appreciate Him. This is because life is a mystery. There is more to life than what any human can comprehend. A man who is complaining about his job, children, wife, husband, father, mother, boss, career, or business should be mindful of the fact that some people don't have these things and they are praying to have them. If you are sad because you are getting little remember those who don't have anything.

Having a grateful heart begins with living having the orientation that you are not entitled to anything and that all that you have is by His grace alone. There is no competition in destiny. Be inspired by what God has done for you and His promises for your life. Let your soul always praise the Lord and do not forget His benefits. Move on in destiny appreciate God and be confident of the fact that you will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

Elimelech Naomi's husband thought that going to Moab was the best option to take against famine but the worst happened to them. Sometimes, we can't envisage what God is planning to do in our lives, hence we need to stay close to Him. We are expected to approach the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in times of need. He wants us to stay close to Him to receive help spontaneously from Him!

Your friends, certificates, ideology, body, wife and everything about you will become old. You will be relieved of your duties to give room for the younger generation. I have seen men who travelled far and wide to achieve great feats in life but later retired home only to sit and watch what happens in the neighbourhood as well as read books, bible and newspapers.

The attitude of the old men around you is your anticipated attitude; the question they are asking will become your questions. In the manner you see people leaving various scenes of life so also you will. It will soon become your experience if you also find grace from God. Now that your strength is with you in various aspects of life make the best use of your opportunities. Use your strength to make an impact in the sand of time.

If you can truly make a proper examination and analysis of your life with respect to who you are in the secret you will know that there is nothing special about you except the grace of God.

The ordeal of Job makes it clear to us that a day is too much for a man to lose everything he has ever worked for if God should give room for the devil to perform his enterprise. When someone is referred to as brilliant, clever, wise, genius, beautiful, handsome, or righteous, it is the grace of God in such a life. The weakness in the life of a man will become obvious when God stops having his back. You must always acknowledge God in all your ways and honour him with your decisions.

King Herod was eaten by worn immediately after he died. The power and authority he had couldn't prevent him from dying. Nebuchadnezzar was sent to the wilderness until he acknowledged the fact that God rules in the affairs of men and that he is unstoppable. Thank God for every good clothes, career, home, job and riches which tends to provide a cover to the unpleasant part of your life in secret.

In your relationship with men be ever mindful of the fact a man is a man and not God. When he is righteous and holy, it is not him but God in him and when he is corrupt and sinful, it is not still him but the sinful nature in him. Hence, he is a personality that can be an instrument in the hand of God and the Devil. You must note the following about a man:
