Whatever grace God made available for you is meant to be for a while and not forever. No matter how wonderful the grace of God appears to be in your life be mindful of the fact that nothing lasts forever!!!

When life is beautiful; it is the heart's desire of every man that things should continue that way. However, the graph of life is not straight and the experience of a man will not be identical over a long period. There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven (Eccl 3.1). When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider: God has made the one as well as the other (Eccl 7:14a).

God told Elijah to go to the brook of Cherith but after the brook dried, he heard another instruction from God on the next line of action. The fact that God told you to do something does not mean that is what you must continue to do, you must hear from God from time to time, and again and again to understand the perspective of your destiny per time. Nothing lasts forever, be mindful of the fact that you need God every hour and in every situation.

The grace of God is God's investment in your life but being disciplined is your personal investment over your life. The grace of God in the life of a man will be frustrated and wasted in the life of a man if he is not disciplined!!!

God can do all things but will not do all things. God has always been known to play His part in all aspects of life. When we examine certain aspects of life critically, it can sometimes seem as though God has failed, but in reality, the failure can be attributed to the role that men have failed to play. God promised to lead the Israelites to the land of promise, but many of them perished in the wilderness because they disobeyed and dishonoured God's commandments rather than because God failed to part the Red Sea, provide daily manna, give them meat, or allow their clothing and shoes to wear out.

Paul said, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". It is not enough for God to release grace; it required that a man use the grace made available to do what is expected of him. God will never tell a man to do something when he has not given him the grace to do it. Each time he fails to do what is required of him; he frustrates God's grace. You must deny and humble yourself to please God with respect to the measure of grace given to you.

+ What are you doing with the grace of God in your life?

Lord! Don't allow me to live short of your expectation for my life in Jesus' name. Amen!!!

A man's needs are a great burden that no one else can bear for him. This is not because people are selfish or evil, but because they have needs unique to their lives and those around them. A man can only help you with the tip of his finger, which is usually insignificant. When seeking assistance, look up to God.

The one who is above is above all and has the ability to lift a man above all limitations in life. Look to God for assistance whenever you need it. He is the only one who can order men to assist you. The only time men truly help is when God touches their hearts to do so. Furthermore, only men who have been helped by God can help others. In the event of a need, try to look up to God as much as possible and let Him come first in your thoughts.

Lord! I look up to you, do not leave me, send help to me in Jesus' name. Amen!!!

One of the most difficult things to do as a man is to forgive those who offended you and to acknowledge your shortcomings before men by taking a bold step to apologize in a bid to ensure peace. It is the will of God for us to be strong in this aspect irrespective of the offence of people towards us and how humiliating it seems to be when acknowledging your weakness and offence before men.

It is an outright sign of weakness under God if you still find it difficult to forgive those who sinned against you and to acknowledge your sins before men and God. Jesus said: people of this world subscribe to "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth" But for us, He commanded us not to resist an evil person and that whoever slaps us on your right cheek, we should turn the other to him also (Matt.5:38-39).

We resemble Him when we give people another opportunity to offend us more even as we forgive them again and again in the manner we sin against God and receive forgiveness again and again. The devil will be finding every means to discredit your faith in God by reacting like a baby. Be strong in the Lord; be an advocate of peace with God and people.

+ Is there an offence to forgive? Is there an apology to seek? How tolerant are you? Are you humble?

Lord! I receive the grace to resemble you in my attributes in Jesus' name. Amen!!!

It is a sign of weakness for a man to find it difficult to forgive men their sins and acknowledge his shortcomings before men and God!!!

To be happy in life, you have to think about feeling good, feeling bad, and feeling right, in an atmosphere of growth. One singular goal you must have as proceed in destiny is to make people happy in all you do.

Your home will not be what it should be if the people in it are not happy. You cannot be happy as a husband if you don't invest in the happiness of your wife and vice versa. As a parent, you will not be happy if you don't invest in the happiness of your children.

Irrespective of your job, you will not be happy if your customers or clients are not happy with your service. As a minister of God, your happiness is subjected to how much your ministry ministers joy and happiness in the lives of men.

To make people happy involves so much love from a sacrificial heart. The beauty of your world is not a function of the material possessions at your disposal but the people who find happiness, joy and love through your existence.

+ Does your existence bring happiness to your world?

Lord! Make me a source of joy, love and happiness to men who come in contact with me in Jesus' name. Amen!!!

Life is a priceless gift from God that is given to all mankind only once and cannot be purchased with money. We are complete God's creation, created specifically to fulfil our unique purpose and mandate. There is no justification for comparison of our lives and experience with others because our lives represent his marvellous work.

We must continue to praise Him for His great faithfulness, love and mercy. We are not consumed because of His compassion. The grace He made available continues to sustain us and we keep moving and growing from grace to greater grace, strength to strength, victory to victory and glory to glory. Despite all he has done for us; He has not given up on us because our lives are a work in progress in His hands. We have seen what He has done for us and we are not worried about some of our wants because He has given us everything we need.

The investment of the Lord in our lives is so great and immeasurable; that we cannot afford to fail nor live below His expectation for us. Thank you for what you have done, doing and will do. Glory, Honour and Adoration to His name.

We are sometimes confused about several things associated with our future because God holds it. The best way to prepare for the future is to know God the only One who guarantees the future.

The man who lost his life in an auto crash while embarking on a business trip would have not engaged in such trip or at best will prepare for eternity if he knew beforehand what is about to happen to him. To many of such people, it is hidden. That is why the word of God admonishes us to commit our ways to the Lord and that we should trust in Him alone and never lean on our understanding.

As you proceed in destiny don't forget what God said and walk side by side with Him even as you make the best use of this present moment; hoping for the best in days to come. In all you do, don't forget that no one promised you tomorrow; it is God that holds tomorrow!

Even when you don't know how God will intervene about an issue in your life you must never give room to unbelief. The workings of God in the lives of men of old have substantiated that God is true to His word and has no record of failure. No one could ever imagine that; Joseph's dream will still come to pass, Sarah and Elizabeth will give birth at old age. Even though the situation of things around these people brings into doubt what God has said; the fact remains that His word came to pass; just because He said it. When God says it, He will surely do it!!!

In every domain of life, there will always be a special issue which requires the expertise or attention of a man. For 40 days the Israelites search for a man who will confront Goliath but eventually found David. Also, a search was made for a man who will play an instrument to deliver King Saul from the evil spirit tormenting him; David was found. Also, Pharaoh seeks for a man to interpret dreams and found Joseph. Nebuchadnezzar also seeks to interpret his dream and found Daniel.

All these men were found worthy to attend to these issues because they did well in rendering services to ordinary men. Also, they were men who prepared and yield themselves for noble service. In like manner, God is seeking men who will stand in righteousness and fulfil his purpose from generation to generation. Avail yourself to be used of God and stand for Him in every domain of your placement.

There will always be a search for a godly wife, husband, educationist, professional, and leader in various capacities. As long as there is no man to stand in the gap for God there will be destruction in such domain. Make a good account of yourself by obeying God absolutely and performing excellently in everything you do.

�The way Christ lived revealed that we are called to a life of sacrifice and that we are but a pilgrim on earth (Like 9:58, Matthew 8:20-30).
�The life of Abraham revealed that there is a great blessing in obeying and waiting on God. His life also proved that God is never late in fulfilling his promises and that He cannot be limited by age, space and time (Gen 12:1-3, Gen 21:1-3)
�The Life of Joseph is a pointer to the fact that there is opposition to every good dream and they will not be fulfilled on the platter of God. Also, God's promises will only be fulfilled on the premises of His will (Gen 37:18-20, Gen 39:9).
�The experience of Israelites at the red sea and wilderness revealed that setbacks are inevitable in the journey of destiny, you must keep moving forward to reach your goal. Also, man is not expected to live by bread alone (Deut 8:1-3)
�The life of Judas reminds us that some people will always present themselves to be used by the devil. A black sheep among the sheep. ( Matt 26:16).

The fact that God created us to fulfil our purpose; makes it paramount for Him to send us forth with a blessing and a promise. David having discovered the intention of God over him and his household believed it and prayed to Him to do exactly what He has said.

You must try as much as possible to ask God in prayers for the promises He made to you. It is not the case that God will forget or fail to do what He has said but He is interested in our commitment to believing what He has said and our readiness to possess our possessions.

No matter how impossible His promises may appear to be with respect to the current situation of your life, all you have to do is to tell Him to do what He has said!

The ultimate factor in every situation of life is God. It is only through Him that everything that existed, exists and what will be will be. Our experience today is a product of His word and so also our tomorrow will not be an exception (John 1:3-4).

As we can see in the creation story, everything the Lord said was exactly implemented according to His words. Irrespective of the situation of your life, the words of the Lord over you remain because your life is a work in progress in His hands; He will perfect that which concerns you.

Therefore, go on in life having the consciousness that God rules in all affairs of men and that His word as far as the blessings or rewards for righteous and holy living as well as judgement or consequence for sinfulness and unrighteousness holds. How everything that was created came into being, so also will His word concerning eternity will be ~it will be so!

The intentions of the Lord have been made known from generation to generation "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” Romans 9:15. When the Lord shows mercy; no one can question or hinder Him on what He wants to do and whenever He decided not to show mercy no man can query Him.

Irrespective of what He decides to do at every point in time; the choice is His. Whatever the case is with you, be mindful of the fact that every man in his lifetime will be safe at a time when thousands are falling both on his right and left side. What you must seek in every issue of life is the willingness of God to show mercy.

There is some dimension of His mercy you are enjoying at every point in time; hence you must acknowledge it. Don't be eaten up by various efforts you put in place because thousands did the same with nothing to show of it. When things are not working well even after you have played your part what you need is mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Feed yourself with God's word and not what has happened to you in the past or terrible experiences of men.

Even when it seems as if the Lord refuse to deliver man from some issues of life, it is still a victory for him if he stands on the word of God in the prevailing situation. This is because all things are working together for the good of every man called according to His purpose. Whatever affects your faith affects your life and what God will do in your life. You will always need to believe in God and hold His hand over various issues of life.

Focus: The Labour of Love

The labour of love is the labour that has to do with great sacrifice like that of Christ. All the labour of love towards God and His name are the only things that will pass onward when we are forgotten!!!

"For God is not unjust to forget your work and labour of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister." (Hebrews 6:10 NKJV).

Several men left their country, parents, relatives, businesses, careers, and jobs just because they wanted to extend the love of Christ to people they weren't related to or even know. Some broke their engagement and others accepted to be infected with deadly diseases just to fulfill this course.

These people are the major reasons why several places in the world have schools, hospitals and other amenities; apart from the fact that their work brings people to the knowledge of God and also brings an end to several traditions which involves killing human beings for sacrifice.

The sepulchre of many of them lies across the world in a locality other than theirs. These people by now have seen the Lord and most of their work testifies about their good works even after they are forgotten.

You also, God demands your sacrifice of love and commitment to His name, people and course. God is not unjust to forget the labour of your love.

+ What would be said of you? On what basis will the Lord reward you?

Lord! I receive the grace to live for you all the days of my life in Jesus' name. Amen!!!

Every man desires to be successful in whatever he undertakes. However, finding grace in this life's wilderness requires God's mercy. When the Lord decides to have mercy on a man, He grants him favour in various aspects of life.

Those who have failed in academics, career, ministry, business, and other areas of life are not less fortunate; it is just that grace was not extended to them. It is the Lord's mercy that works things out in a man's life after he has played his part in every situation of life.

Always seek His mercy in all your struggles and labours in various aspects of life so that your efforts are not in vain. Recognize Him in all your ways and make Him an active participant in your life's affairs.

Focus: Follow Divine Order

Life is not meant to be complicated if you follow divine order. The complications in the lives of men are the product of various schemes that emanate from their sinful desires!!!

The problem of man begins the day he chooses not to follow divine order. Each time a man decides in his heart not to follow the instructions of the Lord presented to him at a point in time; he tends towards having complications in his destiny. The original plan of God for man was that he should be upright and live a life free from complications by submitting to God through discipleship.

The issues in the life of King Solomon, who began his reign in a promising fashion, started when he began to seek several schemes contrary to God's scheme for his life and had no one to guide him in discipleship. As you proceed in destiny, be mindful of the fact that your life will only be free from various life complications in marriage, relationship, career, ministry, job, business, academics etc if and only if you follow divine order by submitting yourself to follow God's principles in discipleship. The word of God through Apostle Paul made it clear to us that if all you can get from serving God is ephemeral things of this life like cars, houses, power, clothes, lands and other wonderful possessions; you are miserable. This is because you don't need to serve God to have them; several unbelievers have them in abundance.

It is a pity that several men who claim to be serving God or His representative lose sight of the ultimate gift of eternal life and drag the name of the Lord in the mud due to their quest for money, fame, power and material things of this life. You are not serving God if your life does not portray, godliness, righteousness and holiness.

Life is given to serve humanity and to prepare for eternity. Whatever faith you claim to have is not of God if it does not make you a good citizen, a blessing to your nation nor assure you of eternity with God.

A man who killed another, whether physically, logically, or spiritually, sowed the seed of death in his own ancestors. The seed of what Joseph's brothers did to him is what makes them slaves in Egypt. Initially, they were not slaves, but their fathers' actions subjected them to servitude and oppression. In multiple ways, God made them feel what Joseph felt as a slave and prisoner.

When you do evil, keep in mind that God will raise someone to carry out the evil you did multiple times. You must resolve to do God's will and to do good to men. Jonathan sows love at a time when he should despise David as a natural human who should succeed his father, but he only showed love. He even shielded David from the evil schemes of his father, King Saul. As a result, when the house of Saul was judged, King David exempted Jonathan's lineage and showed kindness to Mephibosheth.

Your actions today establish the foundation for your experiences tomorrow. As you move forward in your destiny, fear God and sow righteous seed.

What you do in the secret determines your real personality. There is nothing you do in the secret that will not be made public. A man who is battling with lust in his heart will one day be overpowered by it to do something shameful that will be made known to the public. The process which makes the glory of a man become shame does not start the day his shameful act was made public but a process in the secret.

Every growth happens in the secret. The seed you sow in the secret is the fruit people will see. When your secret life is bad, your growth will be stunted and your presentation will be shameful. Sow righteous seeds and place priority on pleasing God even when no one is placing a watch on your life. Place more value on building a formidable secret life which promotes righteousness in every facet of life. The secret life of a man is what determines how much value God will place on him!!!

The way you prepare for the future reveals how much faith you have in it. What you do today has an impact on your future. Sometimes a man may wonder why the reward for his deeds does not appear to be forthcoming; the truth is that it will come after many days (in the future). Pharaoh was advised by Joseph to store grains during times of abundance in order to survive during times of famine.

The ten virgins were at the mercy of the oil they had at the appearance of the bridegroom. Mephibosheth ate with King David because of the good deeds of his father Jonathan. Life will not give you what you want, but will only give you the opportunity to have it. There will always be an opportunity to prepare for the future.

As you proceed in destiny, prepare for the future by saving a good attitude, relationships, prayer life, service life, devotional life, a seed for the future, and career life. Don't be reckless with the resources at your disposal. Live your life with the future in view. Also, be mindful of the fact that there is God's timing for everything and purpose in the land of the living.

In the course of your enjoyment don't forget the fact that your best is yet to come and do not look down on those who are yet to enjoy the measure of Grace made available for you.

Also, you must not forget that nothing on earth lasts forever and that the perils associated with success and prosperity are much more than when you are still trusting God for them. In speech, appearance and in every action be a perfect example of a life characterized by humility and righteousness.

Therefore, God in His infinite mercy always offers Himself to all generations. This is because He knows that there is a point you will get to in life where what you think you have and everything you are made of will not be enough to give you the required peace and calm.

When situations like water, rivers and fire come; do not consider it strange, it is part of life. Always seek to see God in those situations when they come. His provision is that; He will always be available for you and with this, the river of life will not sweep over you nor the fire of life consume you.

Sometimes we wonder why some of our attitudes did not change despite the word of God made available to us and the prayer we offered about them. Some people even try to bind themselves to some rules and resolutions but eventually found that it does not change their experience. When a man is ruled by sinful nature, he will not but manifest the works of the flesh.

You cannot change sinful nature but you can only deny it to walk in the spirit. The only man who is free from the works of the flesh is that man who denies himself and walks in the spirit. The only time you will bear the fruit of the spirit is the only time you submit yourself to walk in the spirit (Gal 5:16-23). However, you can only walk in the spirit when you carry the nature of God through the new birth experience (John 3:3).

A man irrespective of who he is and how far he has gone in the journey of faith in God will live a disgraceful and shameful life if the sinful nature finds expression in his life. He will equally be good and bear the fruit of the spirit when God finds expression in his life.

Lord! Help me to always deny myself and cooperate with you to manifest your attribute in Jesus' name. Amen!!!

It is practically impossible to know who a friend or a brother is when everything is fine and you are enjoying prosperity. Your friends and brothers were those who did not abandon you in the time of your shame, weakness and incapacitation. A man cannot boost to have a wife/husband until he/she remains loyal and ready to love sacrificially even in the worst situation.

A true friend loves both in good and bad times; in health or sickness, joy or pain, prosperity or penury, abundance or lack. It is an exhibition of pride and ignorance for a man to think he does not need a friend or a brother. You need a brother and a friend because life has proven the fact that every man will have a share of his ordeal in the journey of destiny.

If you are a type that is always available to enjoy the prosperity of men and desert them when they are experiencing challenges of life; it is only a matter of time before you will reap in multiple folds the seed of your deeds. Don't ever say the issue in the life of someone does not concern you. When you have the grace to do something about an issue in the lives of men don't hesitate to do it.

A man will feel great and think he is something until what is beyond him befalls him. As you are preparing to be great in various aspects of life don't forget to find strength in the Lord; when life happens all achievements will be irrelevant.

The heart of all men is weak and can easily get weary and faint in the face of difficult situations in life. You must be strong in the Lord. To be strong in the Lord requires having faith in God and trusting the power of His might. As we proceed in destiny be mindful of the fact that we will be faced with several issues and they will be many. The instruction given to Joshua as he leads the Israelites into their promised land is that; he should be strong.

Therefore, you must be strong in the Lord. Irrespective of whatever betide preserve your salvation, be righteous and apply the words of God as both defence and offence against the prevailing situation. Pray to God for divine intervention; align your expectations in the positive direction of your desire and let your faith find a resting place in the Lord!

Every man created by God is created to solve problems. People like Moses, Joseph, David and Daniel solved unique problems in their days. Therefore, problems are inevitable as we proceed in destiny. They are the building blocks of a very beautiful world. Our lives are programmed to get better through overcoming challenges.

Any problem you fail to take a bold step to confront remains to keep increasing your sorrow. Facing your problems is the pathway to happiness under God. For every issue in your life, the Lord is looking forward to seeing you doing something about it.

Do not fold your hands or wait for another person who equally has issues in his/her own life to solve your problems. Things get better in this life by taking proactive measures under God over difficult situations. Do not ignore, deny, run, rationalize your problems or blame people for them. Pray and ask God to take the problems away even as you take steps to solve them!!!

David was not ignorant of the fact that there was an enemy and the damage they could do if they had their way in a man's life. This understanding made him pray that "God should not deliver him to the will of his enemy". You also must be on alert and always pray not to be delivered to the will of the enemy.

The devil is the main enemy of a man. He comes to steal, kill and destroy. Even when it appears as if a man showed himself as an enemy; it is the devil who is at work in him. You must not be ignorant of his vices and be on alert not to fall into his trap. What the devil can do is in the record. We saw what he did with the life of Job at a slight opportunity. He is still in the business; going to and fro seeking for whom to devour.

Apart from praying against the enterprise of the enemy; you must be mindful of the fact that living in disobedience, committing sin and walking contrary to God's will for your life is a way to cooperate with the enemy to perform his enterprise in your life. Acknowledge God in all you do and let him come first in your thinking.

There is no doubt that in this life we have seen people who used to be rich and influential who are now poor and irrelevant to society, as well as people who used to be poor and nobody who is now very wealthy and influential among men. Those who have had a bad fortune, as well as those who have been fortunate, cannot believe how their lives have turned out.

There is a hand that elevates a man and changes the course of events. This hand is God's hand. If this hand is still holding him, he will never fall or fail. If you find yourself in a high position by the grace of God, it is not because you are the best; you simply found favour with God. And if your life is like that of a man who works so hard with nothing to show for it or everything appears to be against you, what you need is God's grace and favour.

Whatever the case may be with you and every man with whom you interact, the fact remains that things can change. Remember that what you saw yesterday is not what you are seeing today, and what you will see tomorrow is not what you are seeing now. Recognize God in every situation and treat men with the utmost respect, not because of who they are, but because they contain a measure of God.

When sentiment overruled a man he tends to be silent about the prevalence of evil acts of men. The silence of a good man is worst than the evil of evil men!!!

A good man is known for the words of wisdom and the fact that he speaks and seeks justice. The fact that all men are prone to being selfish due to the sinful nature of man makes it paramount for everyone to walk in the spirit at all times. A man who claims to be good and righteous will surely disappoint God when sentiment takes a better part of him.

It is pity today that several men who are expected to defend the truth remain mute and inactive simply because they stand to gain something from the prevailing act. What makes you good is the fact that you know the truth and failure to speak and defend the truth is the worst evil. As you proceed in destiny be mindful of the fact that history does not forgive and the truth cannot be killed. When we take a cowardly, quiet backseat to injustice, we are doing more harm than good in our silence.

Evil men will always look for people who will provide cover for their evil acts. Do not allow evil men to take solace in your personality. Don't support a man to be at the helm of affairs because of what you stand to gain. You must stand for the truth and justice because God loves justice (Ps.37.28). Do not be a coward, rebuke the oppressor, defend the less privileged (Isa.1.17) and do everything in your capacity to expose evil. Always remember that everything will come to an end!!!

Lord! I receive the grace to speak and stand by the truth, I will not be overruled by sentiment in Jesus' name. Amen.
