After graduation, no job. I now present on Tv. Nutrition Segment. I feel I would have done better in a food company or a research institute like NAFDAC, SON, FIIRO etc so pained.
Big Food Companies would rather employ a Zoologist or a forestry and wildlife graduate in their companies rather than those who devoted 5 years to know every thing about Food deterioration, safety, postharvest technology, food analysis, new food product development, brewering Technology etc... Food Science in USA is like Medicine and Surgery in Nigeria.(Ignorance)
Note: I am a professional Member of Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIFST). The apex professional Food Institute in Nigeria.

This is indeed life touching. This project deserves some sort of award or NYSC commendation. Doing this in times of economic recession is shocking and unbelievable. Please take this to front page.

National Taskforce whose mandate is to fight against Small arms and Light weapons proliferation, importation of contraband goods etc are currently doing recruitment in Akwa Ibom State. The recruitment started since February, 2015. It started with submission of credentials, shortlisting of names, writing of exams and another shortlisting of names. Payment of #5,000 for medical screening at a Clinic in University of Uyo town campus. Afterwards, names where shortlisted again. What baffles my imagination is that this agency slated her training for 12th July, 2016 but later postponed it with another useless screening of checking the credentials they had already checked and asking useless questions they should have asked in their first step. Also issuing of guarantors forms. This is happening at the Federal Secretariat in Uyo. I am sensing delaying tactics. From February 2015 to July, 2016 hopes raised, with no clear destination.In fact, Screening is still ongoing. Good people, can one say Natforce is for real? Op, please take it up. A stitch in time will always save nine.

same situation one old suffering office assistant is going through in my office...the man has spent almost 25years as an office assistant,washing teacups,going on errands for people way way his junior all cos he wants to earn a decent pay and send his first son to the university...the Arrow got to university of uyo,joined some bad boys on campus,had extra year and finally graduated with a pass (aka fourth class upper division) after spending a whooping 6years studying the simplest of courses (micro biology)...micro biology that i have never seen someone that graduated with a 2.2 not to talk of this Arrow that came out with a 4.1.....
