Saudi Arabia has been remarkably successful at building and promoting a destination where millions of people gather to worship a phantom supreme being (Allah) and perform rituals such as the symbolic stoning of Satan. From a strategic and economic perspective, that is a significant achievement. What amazes me even more is how some people believe that dying in a foreign land somehow guarantees or brings them closer to paradise

Both Obidients and Atikulators have reduced politics to a permanent “Tinubu did it” chorus. If the ADC sneezes, Tinubu is behind it. If the NDC coughs, Tinubu funded it. If opposition parties collapse under the weight of their own confusion, somehow Tinubu is still the mastermind.
At this point, they have elevated president Tinubu into the most influential political figure in the country by attributing every movement, alliance, crisis, and failure to him. A man they claim is unpopular apparently controls their parties, their narratives, their strategies, and even their sleepless nights.
The real tragedy is that while serious politicians focus on building structures, strengthening grassroots support, and presenting workable ideas, sections of the opposition remain trapped in a cycle of excuses, conspiracy theories, and social media outrage. They spend more time monitoring Tinubu than convincing Nigerians why they deserve power.
When a political movement talks more about its opponent than its own agenda, it is already campaigning from a position of weakness.
