Opposition is already in disarray. The 2031 election will be much easier for President Tinubu to win than 2023. The OK movement only favours Kwankwaso in 2031 when power is expected to shift back to the North. While Atiku is going nowhere, as for Obidients, they are loud online, as usual, mistaking social media hype and momentum for election winning, but lack the political strategy and substance to win a presidential election. The hard truth is that their messiah will come a distant third again.

NDC is merely masquerading as an opposition party to deceive gullible people and divide opposition votes. They lack both the structure and strategy to win even a councillorship election, let alone a presidential election. They are just a bunch of noise makers and pretenders.

This is what the serial party defector is known for — photo ops, chasing headlines, quoting questionable statistics, serving rice in public, making unsolicited donations and constantly referencing “China this, China that” as if that alone is a development strategy. None of these media stunts or social media hype will automatically take the social media president to Aso Rock.

Both Obidients and Atikulators have reduced politics to a permanent “Tinubu did it” chorus. If the ADC sneezes, Tinubu is behind it. If the NDC coughs, Tinubu funded it. If opposition parties collapse under the weight of their own confusion, somehow Tinubu is still the mastermind.
At this point, they have elevated president Tinubu into the most influential political figure in the country by attributing every movement, alliance, crisis, and failure to him. A man they claim is unpopular apparently controls their parties, their narratives, their strategies, and even their sleepless nights.
The real tragedy is that while serious politicians focus on building structures, strengthening grassroots support, and presenting workable ideas, sections of the opposition remain trapped in a cycle of excuses, conspiracy theories, and social media outrage. They spend more time monitoring Tinubu than convincing Nigerians why they deserve power.
When a political movement talks more about its opponent than its own agenda, it is already campaigning from a position of weakness.

It looked like Obidients had once embraced Dino, Atiku, Malami, El-Rufai and others as their saviors and messiahs. However, the centre could not hold and the narrative has changed, revealing inconsistency and confusion on the part of the so called Obidients.
