nosa2: Why chase a moving bus? I was screaming Zenith at N60 for fundamental reasons. If you are looking for what to enter today go and buy ETI at N47. ETI fundamentals are a lot sexier than Zenith was at N60.
Heck ETI should be trading above Zenith I have been in Zenith long enough to know what they can do. I also bought around that N60 price. I bought some N70, N75, N80 and even N87. But, it keep looking good to me because i know their antecedents. I just want others to enjoy what i have been enjoying. I am a dividend investor . i am no prophet but i see Zenith Bank upstaging GTCO sometime. I don't have any analysis to back this up. You have really harped on this ETI, i think i should take a good look at it now. My only problem with them is they hate to declare dividend, i have been in and out of the stock. But, there is always a room to come back to any stock. |

Byankee: Zenith Bank is going to do at least #10 dividend in FY2025, interim plus final I will celebrate if i see N6.00 final dividend from Zenith bank. After all, they paid N4.00 final dividend last year Especially now that they have a larger outstanding shares due to recapitalization. I am currently trying to build my portfolio with 25% banking stocks and 75% others. My portfolio is presently having about 65% banks and 35% others. |

Byankee: Zenith Bank is going to do at least #10 dividend in FY2025, interim plus final This will be a welcome development. If they do this, they will surely play catch-up with GTCO. I am beginning to have a rethink on my Fidelity bank, Access bank and UBA. They have been trading side ways for sometime now. |

222Martins: Did it not occur to you that the reason Tony was declaring huge dividends across his several companies was to equip investors with cash for the UBA Recapitalization? Well, that era is now over. Expect more disappointments. Well, i never seen it from that angle. No wonder he paid only N0.25k for UBA interim dividend. This is the time to act fast. sell-off all my UBA and convert it to Zenith Bank. At least 2 units of UBA will give me 1 Zenith Bank at the current price. I also believe something big is cooking in Zenith Bank with the volume i observe daily. Now is the right time to act than to be caught unaware. @222Martins thank you for opening my eyes. |

ogawisdom: This is what is called dividend, you will only get reasonable dividend when you concentrate in the right stocks esp with good capital. Quality growth stocks Yes o. You are very correct. It doesn't make any sense in buying all stocks. There are about 155 stocks on NGX today. I presently own about 30 companies. This really doesn't make sense. I have planning to trim it down to 10 stocks which have rewarded me in dividends and capital appreciation. I am really working on it. If one is heavily loaded in a stock, once they pay dividend you are very happy. Hence, i am concentrating my energy to massively invest in just 10 stocks. |

Rubyjade: 🚨 IRAN. ISRAEL. USA. WAR HAS STARTED. Are you financially prepared — or are you about to get wiped out?
Today — February 28, 2026 — the US and Israel launched joint military strikes on Iran.
Missiles hit Tehran. Iran fired back. US military bases in Bahrain, UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait are under attack RIGHT NOW.
The Middle East is on fire.
And while the world watches in shock… I'm not shocked. I've been warning about this for YEARS.
Here's how we got here — because nobody's talking about the FULL picture:
December 2025 — Iran's economy collapsed. The currency cratered. Prices exploded. Millions took to the streets in the BIGGEST protests since 1979.
The Iranian regime's response? They massacred their own people. Over 30,000 dead.
June 2025 — The US already bombed Iran's nuclear facilities. Iran rebuilt. Quietly.
February 13, 2026 — President Trump publicly called for regime change in Iran.
February 26 — Last ditch peace talks in Geneva. FAILED.
February 27 — The US told its embassy staff in Israel to GET OUT.
February 28 — TODAY. Missiles flying. Bases burning. World War III has begun.
This didn't happen overnight. The writing was on the wall for anyone paying attention. But most people were too busy watching Netflix to notice.
Here's what the RICH know that the poor and middle class don't: Wars are not random. Wars are FINANCIAL events.
20% of the world's oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz — right where Iran is firing missiles today.
If that strait shuts down, oil hits $200 a barrel. Maybe more.
And then what happens?
Everything gets more expensive. The dollar gets weaker. The stock market bleeds. And YOUR savings account gets quietly destroyed by inflation.
The poor and middle class will wonder what happened.
The rich already prepared.
Rich Dad taught me this: In times of crisis, "SAVERS are LOSERS."
When governments go to war, they PRINT money. Trillions.
To fund the bombs, the ships, the bases.
Every dollar they print makes YOUR dollar worth less. This is not conspiracy. This is history. This is math.
WWI — inflation exploded. WWII — inflation exploded. Vietnam — inflation exploded. The US is already $38 TRILLION in debt. Now add a massive war in the world's most critical oil region.
Who pays for that? YOU DO. Through inflation. The slow, invisible theft of your purchasing power.
So what do you do RIGHT NOW?
The same thing they ALWAYS do when governments panic:
1. Gold — Governments can't print it. When missiles fly, gold rises. It has for 5,000 years.
2. Bitcoin — People's money. No government controls it. No central bank can debase it.
3. Real Assets — Hard assets that inflation cannot destroy.
The scariest part of today isn't the missiles. It's the lost lives and the financial crisis which will follow after that.
The question isn't "Will this affect me?" It will.
Prepare now. Not tomorrow. NOW.
By Robert Kiyosaki Hmmmmmmm. When we are in the middle of earning season. Let's see how markets open tomorrow then we know what action to take. We move. |

abuhusna1: I think the fees and commissions being charged by broker are outrageous. Imagine all the fees they are trying to charge me for selling. Ill rather hold forever If you had made some gain, you sell your stock. There is no way your profit will be less than than the commission you are paying. You can't trade stocks without a broker. And you can't also hold forever. This is actually the main reason i don't go in and out of a stock. If you are not making enough profit, you will be in the market serving the broker. |

Sixty days is almost over. I am patiently waiting for the announcement of dividend, i thought after board meeting companies are expected to roll out the results with corporate actions. I know banks will still have to wait for CBN their regulator. What about others who have no regulator like Dangote Cement, MTNN, Wapco, UCAP, Transcorp etc |
