Na where una see dis one again?
This is H1 season. Half year results ( Q2) have started trickling in. Check your NGX website. More results are expected next week and by 31st of the month most will release their results for those that comply.

Am more interested on companies that pay interim dividend. I hope they will meet my expectations. African Prudential Registrar failed woefully with just N0.10k

Bua Foods dividend landed. Though, no withholding tax deducted. The dividend small sha.

Lesson learnt: The more units you buy, the more your dividend grin

Let me help you out here bro.
That I supported a claim then on the bases that it was achievable based on return on some stocks on ngy.I still went further to mention some particular stocks then.I never said I supported the maths in that particular portfolio to have achieved the said claim
I only gave him benefits of doubt based on growths we all have witnessed on some stocks here.I came to realise that the guy is also a lamba writer garnished in lies so I withdrew my earlier reservations about his claims support
.Did he show you how the maths pened out when asked. Like this is what I had and later sold and moved to this which later grew to this. The frsh funds injected at different times or nothing was ever injected.
If you no like a handle be bold to always say it straight don't be looking for opportunities from others post to say your mind.I get monikers here a hate like my shit and don't pretend about it.
I wanted to ignore but said let me set the records straight
So I don't speak from two sides of my mouth. I be street and always straight
Thanks for the help. You are actually entitled to your opinion. It is very true that you can renounce what you once believed in. But, it only took you until the argument about Nigerian politics that you suddenly realized that the guy is a liar. We would not have been typing this now had it been you immediately challenged his one billion portfolio and claim it was a lie there and then. There were some people who said it openly that they never believed that. But, it took you until another argument before you recounted.

To set the record straight, when someone was attacking mankind for attaining one billion portfolio the street mu$mu was all over here supporting mankind but because mankind is not on the same page with him today on politics he turned back and said mankind claimed was fraud. Where is the integrity

What I can understand from his attitude is, is either he is unstable or lack complete integrity. He is to tell us which of the two.
Thank you for your observation. I thought am the only one observing this trend. When issues are raised and discussed, trash it objectively and possibly let your stand be known. When some other issues come you do the same. You don't take matters personally because it doesn't favour you and you can not always have the support of everyone in all matters. No man knows it all. If you always petty with argument when you are losing out, it shows immaturity. It is really funny how a human being changes like weather. Today you maybe on the same side of a debate with someone and tomorrow you maybe in opposing sides for another topic. You don't throw tantrums and rubbish all you had earlier stood for and argued about just because the fellow do not see things the way you see them in the present topic being discussed. Life goes on. cool

📊 Yesterday's closing prices don't tell the whole story...

🟢 INTBREW was the only stock to finish green every day this week.
🏆 NIDF hit a fresh 52-week high.
🚀LEGENDINT traded 9x normal volume, but sellers still won the closing battle.
📉 MCNICHOLS went from +7% to -10%... the session's biggest plot twist.
🔄 FTGINSURE and REGALINS staged the strongest recoveries.
💰 ZENITHBANK and GTCO led money flow.
The index tells one story.
The market tells many.
Kudos to you for this highlights. It practically summarizes the market, this will be lovely if it can come up at the end of every trading day. Keep it up.

Pay 1500 for N23 (1.25%) of dividend? Won't the buying and selling commission erode the dividend gain?
The thing tire me o. My people just love to get dividend alert. Sometimes, it is better to accumulate a good company after it has been dumped after qualification date. It is all about getting your calculations right. cool

Zenith: Wema

105:30

3.5:1

Pay close attention to Wema especially if the gap narrows further or else expect Zenith to sharply rise to 120 to maintain 4:1.
Ratios were formulated from their annualized earnings and had been held substantially for months. The lower ratio could point to an improvement in Wema’s Q3 earnings relative to Zenith’s, narrowing the ratio; probably influenced by insider information. A ratio above 4:1 could point in favour of Zenith, maybe an interim dividend or further improvement in her earnings.
But, this your ratio is not reflective on the dividend paid by both companies. Are you postulating that instead of by 1 unit of Zenith bank share, i should buy 3.5 or 4 units of WEMA bank ? Everyone has what works for them, if i have WEMA bank, i will sell it and plunge in everything on Zenith bank. grin

You want to be relevant in today's Nigeria either in your work place, business, family, school, church, mosque and most especially in politics, you need to up your game in sycophancy. Truth is dead, you need to improve on the way you do your praise singing of your master and flatter him excessively as if you are wooing a woman to gain his special attention. Just like Megawealth will say and i quote :The game is game

Ride on Tony Elumelu you will surely be recognized. So far you pay me an increase interim dividend in UBA ( not the N0.25k interim and only dividend you paid last year). Don't also go to SEPLAT to spoil things for us, the standard had already been set by your predecessors.

Please any advise on where to put 5M in this red market?

Use all to buy Zenith Bank stocks, it should give you about 48,500 units after removing the stockbroker's commission at the current price. You will be happy you did and you will thank me later.

Please do your due deligence.

I try small but solid men with solid bars full this forum. Nothing but respect to everyone, regardless of the portfolio size.
You are indeed very correct. Before i joined this thread i was on my own ( me, myself and I) priding myself that i have a huge portfolio. But, when i started interactions here on this thread my eyes opened wide. Then, i realized i was just starting and was humbled. Yes, they say investment is not a team sport, but when you see the way people analyze stocks, trade stocks and speculate stocks then you just have to put your acts together. I am making good progress and challenging myself to do more.

Have very few years to retire, grin grin grin

Lol ... No worries, I dey okay. My BP in DangCem is about N600. My July 2nd dividends is a solid 8 digits. The eyes blurring statement is just a mere comedy. My eyes don see all seasons for this game, nothing fit make am blur. And Yes! It's time to separate the boys from the men!
Then, you are one of the big guys in this platform. Whatever you lost in the form of capital appreciation, you gained in dividend returns. If my arithmetic is still okay for you to have 8 digits in dividend on 2nd July with Dancem means you have nothing less than 247,000 units (i am being modest here, it could be more). Yes, you are truly one of the men in this platform. When i grow up, would like to be like you. Congratulations.

It is campaign season be ready to hear all forms of rubbish from jokers.

If not in Nigeria, should the likes of Yahaya Bello be presenting himself for election purposes. Someone that is yet to clear his name from EFCC. It all boil down to the fact that we only do selection here and not election. Desmond Elliot is now crying over the same system that benefited him. We are not actually ripe for this democracy with what am seeing.

Good evening all. I have two brokage accounts A & B. I domiciled my WEMA shares with broker A, and some time ago the company decided to do a share reconstruction. This made my holding to reduce. Just after the share reconstruction, the tasere WEMA shares disappeared fro. my portfolio. But, still receive receive WEMA bank dividend any time they pay. Both my stockbrokers A & B don't have any records of my WEMA bank shares as reflected in the CSCS statement they have sent at different time.
