ppogba:This is H1 season. Half year results ( Q2) have started trickling in. Check your NGX website. More results are expected next week and by 31st of the month most will release their results for those that comply. Am more interested on companies that pay interim dividend. I hope they will meet my expectations. African Prudential Registrar failed woefully with just N0.10k |
Transcorp Power interim dividend - N1.50k African Prudential interim dividend - N0.10k ![]() |
Bua Foods dividend landed. Though, no withholding tax deducted. The dividend small sha. Lesson learnt: The more units you buy, the more your dividend ![]() |
Streetinvestor2:Thanks for the help. You are actually entitled to your opinion. It is very true that you can renounce what you once believed in. But, it only took you until the argument about Nigerian politics that you suddenly realized that the guy is a liar. We would not have been typing this now had it been you immediately challenged his one billion portfolio and claim it was a lie there and then. There were some people who said it openly that they never believed that. But, it took you until another argument before you recounted. |
crownprince2017:Thank you for your observation. I thought am the only one observing this trend. When issues are raised and discussed, trash it objectively and possibly let your stand be known. When some other issues come you do the same. You don't take matters personally because it doesn't favour you and you can not always have the support of everyone in all matters. No man knows it all. If you always petty with argument when you are losing out, it shows immaturity. It is really funny how a human being changes like weather. Today you maybe on the same side of a debate with someone and tomorrow you maybe in opposing sides for another topic. You don't throw tantrums and rubbish all you had earlier stood for and argued about just because the fellow do not see things the way you see them in the present topic being discussed. Life goes on. ![]() |
toyeoye:Kudos to you for this highlights. It practically summarizes the market, this will be lovely if it can come up at the end of every trading day. Keep it up. |
mikeapollo:This one should not spark off another debate. The bottom line is the victims were rescued. Leave politics for the politician and talk stocks here. |
deathwing:The thing tire me o. My people just love to get dividend alert. Sometimes, it is better to accumulate a good company after it has been dumped after qualification date. It is all about getting your calculations right. ![]() |
aj8:But, this your ratio is not reflective on the dividend paid by both companies. Are you postulating that instead of by 1 unit of Zenith bank share, i should buy 3.5 or 4 units of WEMA bank ? Everyone has what works for them, if i have WEMA bank, i will sell it and plunge in everything on Zenith bank. ![]() |
Yoursfaithful: ;You want to be relevant in today's Nigeria either in your work place, business, family, school, church, mosque and most especially in politics, you need to up your game in sycophancy. Truth is dead, you need to improve on the way you do your praise singing of your master and flatter him excessively as if you are wooing a woman to gain his special attention. Just like Megawealth will say and i quote :The game is game Ride on Tony Elumelu you will surely be recognized. So far you pay me an increase interim dividend in UBA ( not the N0.25k interim and only dividend you paid last year). Don't also go to SEPLAT to spoil things for us, the standard had already been set by your predecessors. |
kintus:Use all to buy Zenith Bank stocks, it should give you about 48,500 units after removing the stockbroker's commission at the current price. You will be happy you did and you will thank me later. Please do your due deligence. |
samarine:You mean akara, kwilikwili and agbado ? ![]() |
mikeapollo:Just buy your Zenith and GTCO to be guaranteed of your banking interim dividend. Access and UBA are speculative in term of dividend. ![]() |
CAP dividend just dropped. Dividend dey sweet sha. Weekend groove is assured. ![]() |
Bigdeal01:If these stocks ever get to this price, i should be able to make it to the Board of Directors of one or all the companies. ![]() |
Ginalex:Share you money into two. Use first part to buy today and watch how it goes on Monday. ![]() |
I love this Seplat. They don't waste time in paying dividend. This will just be enough to cruise my family for Father's Day on Sunday Children's Day - Fathers spends. Mother's Day - Fathers spends. Father's Day - Fathers still spends ![]() |
Shalom428:You are indeed very correct. Before i joined this thread i was on my own ( me, myself and I) priding myself that i have a huge portfolio. But, when i started interactions here on this thread my eyes opened wide. Then, i realized i was just starting and was humbled. Yes, they say investment is not a team sport, but when you see the way people analyze stocks, trade stocks and speculate stocks then you just have to put your acts together. I am making good progress and challenging myself to do more. Have very few years to retire, ![]() |
Shalom428:Then, you are one of the big guys in this platform. Whatever you lost in the form of capital appreciation, you gained in dividend returns. If my arithmetic is still okay for you to have 8 digits in dividend on 2nd July with Dancem means you have nothing less than 247,000 units (i am being modest here, it could be more). Yes, you are truly one of the men in this platform. When i grow up, would like to be like you. Congratulations. ![]() |
This is an opportunity to buying sound fundamentally stocks. Buy in tranches as you don't know how low they can go. It is definitely not a time to sell but, a time to buy. Buy wisely. ![]() |
thebargainhunte:Hmmmmmm. Something is fishy here. You sure say this result go good ? This excuse upon excuse is getting too much. On or before 19th June is crazy. |
Asangbekoko:Seplat dividend is beautiful. How i wish i can afford 10,000 units. Their quarterly dividend make sense. I will likely declare a state of emergency on how to acquire the stock. ![]() |
aj8:So, who win ? I am actually thinking of converting my Fidelity bank to WEMA bank. ![]() |
megawealth01: ![]() It is campaign season be ready to hear all forms of rubbish from jokers. If not in Nigeria, should the likes of Yahaya Bello be presenting himself for election purposes. Someone that is yet to clear his name from EFCC. It all boil down to the fact that we only do selection here and not election. Desmond Elliot is now crying over the same system that benefited him. We are not actually ripe for this democracy with what am seeing. ![]() |
Agbalowomeri:The patient dog eat the fattest bone, |

Good evening all. I have two brokage accounts A & B. I domiciled my WEMA shares with broker A, and some time ago the company decided to do a share reconstruction. This made my holding to reduce. Just after the share reconstruction, the tasere WEMA shares disappeared fro. my portfolio. But, still receive receive WEMA bank dividend any time they pay. Both my stockbrokers A & B don't have any records of my WEMA bank shares as reflected in the CSCS statement they have sent at different time. |
Redoil:I love the bolded. When they didn't pay dividend ![]() |
KarlTom:What are the benefit of these people ![]() Are they paid to deceive genuine investor or they are hyping chaffs just for them to offload theirs. This is really very terrible. ![]() |
chimex38:javascript:void(0); When will my own opinion on stock matter in NSEMPA count too. This one that members of the thread are capable of dragging down share prices by their simple comments. Please [s]guys with their crystal balls should help me look into it and move Transcorp Power up for me to make a kill[/s] ![]() |
ogawisdom:Congratulations on your dividend alert. Bonus does not come immediately, it takes a while, that is why every investor must be patient. |
orriyomi33:Congratulations. Then there is hope that my own will come today. This is good news. |
