So many entities were part of the inventors. There is no a single person who invented it. Without Kenyans there would be no mpesa, without Vodafone there would be no mpesa and without the cbk and Dr bitange ndemo there would be no mpesa. https://www.google.com/amp/s/bizextras./2011/05/23/so-who-invented-m-pesa/amp/?espv=1 Kazikazi: |
The stake is not even greater than 1 percent or maybe even more than 0.5% Kazikazi: |
What's stake has a Tanzanian had. Safaricom market valuation is worth billion of US dollars. The Arab guy from Tz bought shares worth 4 million US dollars! That is so so insignificant! Kazikazi: |
They are old but still minting the awards and getting a good number of tourists? Not so bad to me! Kazikazi: |
Still on paper.Get back to us when its up and running. The fact is of now, only Kenya railways can do double stacking in Africa! And stop it all with your education nonsense. Your education system is crap! No wonder Tanzania is a nation of illiterates! Kazikazi: |
That dirty Hilton is known worldwide.Built in the year 1969,it's one of the most decorated hotels in terms of awards and travelers reviews.Your new recent hotels can in no way complete with the Hilton! forgiveness: |
Its nice seeing our tea and flowers country being in the list of the mineral endowed countries! Algerian1: |
Ethiopia and Kenya SGR comparison. The Kenya's railway was primarily designed for cargo haulage, the passenger option is just a fantastic addition to it! 25 tonnes minimum(Kenyan SGR) 25 tonnes maximum (Ethiopian SGR-this is a weak line) Technicalities
|
The words of Mr Maina-MD Kenya Railways as quoted by Capital Fm Business. ''Ethiopia are constructing class two (type) railway dictated by their demands. Their cargo volumes are less than 10 million tonnes, so we cannot do a class two here. The port of Djibouti does less than 7 million tonnes while the port of Mombasa is doing nearly 30 million tonnes per annum. Our SGR has a capacity of about 22 million tonnes per year, with double stack capability,'' REFERENCE https://www.capitalfm.co.ke/business/2017/01/kenya-railways-dismisses-comparisons-sgr-morocco-ethiopia-projects/ |
We have a fella who probably thinks that tunnel construction is merely drilling a hole inside a mountain! Oh My! But who built the Tazara? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LO8-svpsK24?t=32 Remember this tunnels are one of the longest in Africa with Ngong tunnel being 4.5km.Let Kazikazi prove us if Tanzanians have built such a tunnel on their own,as a matter of fact they don't even have a tunnel with a length of more than 80m! |
What we are saying is that renewable energy is the way to go! Kazikazi: |
What affected every country in Africa? Iwillbegreat: |
Let me be! The GDP downward trajectory is rather shocking! Iwillbegreat: |
How can the GDP go down from 500 billion plus to 300 billion plus just like that? ![]()

Beat the Nigerians and what they bring forward fast is Kibera! It's as if millions of Kenyans live there while in reality is only 170,070 of the 4 million Nairobians! |
https://africacheck.org/2014/04/09/what-do-nigerias-new-gdp-numbers-really-mean/ Nigeria's GDP is all lies. The biggest GDP with the highest population of poor people in the world just doesn't make any sense.Kenya with a population of 50 million people have a much superior education budget of 4 billion US dollars compared to Nigeria's two pennies of a budget....and the fact is Nigeria's military budget isn't far of from Kenya's.There's much to think of Nigeria's GDP! They can't even afford to buy new car models that Volkswagen had to invest more in Rwanda and Kenya. They have the fakest middle class. The number of malls in Kiambu beats the whole of Nigeria! |
You won't see anything as big than this! Can't wait for a new ICD(Inland Container Deport) and (SEZ) Special Economic Zone at both Naivasha and Mombasa https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJcbRjqlfic?t=3 |

Not any.The Ethiopian railway can't and many other railways can't.Lean more about double stacking.Railway tracks have limits as per what tonnage of goods can the tracks sustain to carry per metre of tracks. Ethiopia went for category two SGR-which cannot allow double stacking.Kenya's railway tracks have the ability to support double stacking. No any other railway in Africa can do this. You can prove it to me! I'm open to learn something new! Kazikazi: |
Enjoy this video of the double stack container-No any other country in the continent can do double stack except Kenya. The train is at the Mazeras SGR bridge in Mombasa! How many containers were those? Wow! https://www.facebook.com/mohammed.hersi2010/videos/10156841984812422/?t=19 |
What kind of development? infrastructure? sea ports, air ports, railways, tourism and recreational facilities, roads, real estate? You want a challenge? Bring your pictures then.It is going to be Mombasa versus all those three cities! forgiveness: |
Calabar,Kano and Ibadan are no where near Mombasa in the rank of Africa's wealthiest Cities. It is sad that you can't comprehend this! forgiveness: |
What is this building? The first one Kur17: |
This discussion was won long ago! We are just doing patrols shooting down those who would think of making a comeback! They messed with the wrong country online! Well,my WIFI is unlimited. The fact that I can't finish it gives me a headache! ![]() Yobeezy: |
Long suspected that we are not taking full advantage of us being at the Equator. We can do more I reckon.South African cities being on the periphery of Africa makes them loose that central appeal! I think investments in infrastructure coupled with our strong human capital have been the magnet to BBC opening its biggest office outside the UK in Kenya! rvp2018: |
