Ethiopia and Kenya SGR comparison.The Kenya's railway was primarily designed for cargo haulage,the passenger option is just a fantastic addition to it! 25 tonnes minimum(Kenyan SGR) 25 tonnes maximum (Ethiopian SGR-this is a weak line)

Remember this tunnels are one of the longest in Africa with Ngong tunnel being 4.5km.Let Kazikazi prove us if Tanzanians have built such a tunnel on their own,as a matter of fact they don't even have a tunnel with a length of more than 80m!

Not any.The Ethiopian railway can't and many other railways can't.Lean more about double stacking.Railway tracks have limits as per what tonnage of goods can the tracks sustain to carry per metre of tracks. Ethiopia went for category two SGR-which cannot allow double stacking.Kenya's railway tracks have the ability to support double stacking.No any other railway in Africa can do this.You can prove it to me! I'm open to learn something new!

FYI;any SG railway can do double stacking. Even when Tanzania floated a tender for new electric trains they mentioned them in their tender documents.. There is nothing new in double stacking.
