Doesn't sound like much avoiding to me. Have heard that 70% of the music played in your country is Nigerian, possibly more from Kenyans themselves. Your country doesn't have an impact or influence on Nigeria, where as Nigeria's culture, music, movies & entertainment have a huge impact on your countrymen & women that's quite clear to see. An increasing number of your fashion designer's have admitted that they're heavily influenced by Nigerian traditional fashion and culture. Remember - Kenya CitizenTV makes money for all of those Nigerian movies they show daily, ensuring the "country to be avoided like a plague" puts money in the pockets of Kenyan TV networks in the form of viewership and ad's. The shops & vendors in Nairobi selling knockoff Nigerian movies put food on the table for everyday Kenyans by way of Nigerian talent from that "country to be avoided like a plague", interesting. We aren't complaining, be careful.

Kenya unemployment rate as of 2017 was 11%.Really in Africa where people have to work to survive unemployment is non issues.There are not that many couch potatoes just idling around like developed world and surviving on state welfare .You literally have to work for your dinner.The problem is under employment... majority over qualified people doing menial jobs.The unemployed in Africa are mostly over 16 -24 studying in collegs like jonraid and ednited.. and depending on their guardians for upkeep.In developed world they would be doing the menial jobs.. waiting tables and such jobs..that are fully occupied in Kenya by underemployed folks.The solution is to get jonraid and college kids some virtual online jobs and then slowly move people from farm to non farm economic activities..from petty trade to formal trading.
