Kazikazi: OK fine.Since you sincerely asked Tz to forgive kiberans, we have forgiven them! We won't close the border post so that they can keep on receiving food supplies
The numbers of Ultra High Net Wealth Individuals. The UHNWI's (Ultra High Net Worth Individuals) are individuals with a net of over 30 million US dollars.South Africa leads the pack with an impressive margin followed by Egypt,Nigeria then Kenya.
Bit low numbers for Nigeria considering their big GDP and population
There is also a nurse strike ongoing in some counties in Kenya. You can also highlight about that
You are looking for negatives in Kenya,I mean just like any country we have them. These hitches won't make Tanzania eclipse on Kenya.I might as well post the negative reports I see from Tanzania but Tanzania doesn't faze me!
Kazikazi: OK let me leave your sigiri bridge disastrous construction.
How is Kenyatta airport doing today? I see a lot of planes are diverted to Tanzania. Can you guys do without us??
The variance of Kenya's climatic zones has even affected where most Kenyans live in the country. In the humid regions,we get to see clustered human settlements,in the much drier areas the population is scattered and nothing much happens on the ground. From this,we can juxtapose these three maps of Kenya and come up with interesting deductions!
1.Large swathes of the Northern and Eastern part of Kenya which is characterised by arid and semi arid climate isn't much visible from the space at night. This areas are sparsely populated.
2.Most Kenyans seem to live in some sections of the coast, central and western part of the country. There seems to be linear settlements along the Nairobi Mombasa highway as witnessed from the satellite light mapping of Kenya!
3.Good climatic conditions still remains a huge factor influencing population distribution in the country.
rvp2018: Kenya seem as dry as Somali - yet produce & export lot more agricluture goods than all it's lazy neighbors with favourable climate. Look at Tanzania - huge arable land - and incredibly lazy witch-craft practicing primitives.
Let not even talk about the ZOO - Nigeria - where everywhere is nearly arable - but poverty is now out of this world.
A pity indeed, how could the curriculum not give mentions to some of this history movers?
Before age 14, a Kenyan child would have known of Gamal Abdel Nasser of Egypt,Ahmed Ben Bella of Algeria,Siad Barre of Somalia,Leopold Senghor of Senegal, not forgetting the likes of Nkurumah,Nyerere,Milton Obote,Haile Selassie,Nelson Mandela and among many others who leaved a mark in the trails of African history!
We would learn of gold mining in Ghana and South Africa, copper mining in Zambia and Uganda,Diamond mining in Tanzania and SA,crude oil extraction in Libya and Egypt. The curriculum gave us all these,we would be tested on what's being mined in Witwatersrand,Mwadui and Kilembe. You'll be asked when Ghana gained independence and the nobel prize winners of Vilakazi. You might also be asked of the Aswan high dam of Egypt and the Danakil Alps of Ethiopia. All these was just at primary level. It was even more expanded in secondary where the social studies was broken into two subjects in history and geography! It's impossible for me to just write up on what we really got from the curriculum,it's impossible to say the least!
chrisagyei: Wow,that's wonderful to hear, that's basically the main cities in Ghana including the highly industrial and port cityTema where the GMT longitudinal line ends and also Tamale the Savannah City in the north. It's a pity we never learned about a single African country or leader in general Social Studies .We only talked about the big Six,Kwame Nkrumah, different ethnic groups in Ghana and only Ghanaian history. No South Africa,East Africa,North Africa or even West African country was learnt or at least mentioned in our general Social Studies. We know little or nothing about Africa except Ghanaian history lessons. Its some of us who dared to read outside the box who got to know something about Africa otherwise the educational system is centered on nothing buh mostly Ghana stuffs.Buh Ghanaians read wide.Maybe it's because we felt Africa betrayed Nkrumah or maybe the leaders wanted to forget Nkrumah's one Africa project and dream.
AskiaHarem: Stop trying to play victim mouthbreather. I only started exposing you fruads when you unprovokingly came after the land. I'll stop when the truth finally penetrates the thick skulls of you peasants and you realize your place
Now get off this site and get back to doing what you guys do best when it comes to the land. HATING AND CLOUT CHASING
Non-verbal cues you mean? You could make a great teacher!
XhosaNostra: Not the ones you have in mind, but yeah The thing is, I'm very animated when speaking in real life, so using pictures is my way to replicate that. To create a visual image
You can imagine the outrage coming from the republicans hearing of that large sum for an embassy! Worse still, that embassy is in Africa. vaxx was in error just like we sometimes do.
rvp20182: That would be huge dent on us foreign service budget...a billion dollars embassy..does it also launch space ships.
We never said that we are perfect, we just want him to substantiate his facts of a billion dollar embassy! We just think that a billion US dollars is a lot for an embassy building! The one billion dollar embassy in London should be the most expensive US embassy and it's only new! I guess it was a slip coming from him!
jaycent: Everything about Kenya is perfect. Everything in that country is the best in the whole world. I don't really know what's wrong with those people!
A billion US dollars means about three Thika Superhighways! Few buildings can cost that much!
rvp20182: Accra us embassy was built at total cost of 70m dollars..do you guys know what 1b dollars can build... kindly fact check before posting. The embassy is nothing of a beauty.. sorry Ghanaian you guys need to find something more braggable.
This are facts! Someone who passed Kenya's KCPE and KCSE is truly knowledgeable of not only Kenya,East Africa,Africa but also the world. With some little training,a form four leaver might as well get into formal employment in some careers without even passing through varsity or college. The 8-4-4 is brilliant even though it has some challenges facing it!
tylann: Kenya are taught history of kenya History of east Africa History of Africa History of the world .
XhosaNostra: Not the ones you have in mind , but yeah The thing is, I'm very animated when speaking in real life, so using pictures is my way to replicate that. To create a visual image
I remember a mention of Ghana in my primary's Social Studies. We had this triangle of mineral towns which composed of Accra,Kumasi and Takoradi if I'm not wrong! Another big mention from Ghana was of course Kwame Nkurumah! I mean we learned lot's of stuff,I till this day remember of Samori Ture of Guinea the tough fighter who made the French forces labour for their win against his well equipped army! Talk of political legends like Leopold Senghor of Senegal and more great figures. Our curriculum is and was truly Pan African!
chrisagyei: The only history taught in basic schools are Ghana and her neighbors. We have only three neighbors which is Togo,Cote D'Ivoire and Burkina Faso.Their capitals cities are only taught and the meaning of ECOWAS,AU and the UN.That's it about Africa,so most Ghanaians hardly know the African communities except maybe Nigeria who are all over the place.
So your gallery is filled with all this kind of pictures?
XhosaNostra: Religious differences is one thing, that is workable imo if each individual respects the other's views, choices & opinions. However, you should at least share similar beliefs in important matters such as fidelity, having children etc. You don't have to be each other's clones as that'd be a bit dull & lacking a little...
