Some fans here are very funny and have been spoilt, in fact some on here started watching football during pep's era.
For history sake this is the sixth time in the club’s history that FC Barcelona won an away leg in the Champions League quarterfinals. In the last eleven times since 2009 in the Champions League quarters, FC Barcelona has won three times.
Even under the Magnificent Pep, away games are extremely difficult talk less of a team like United, I dare say it that under another manager we would have drawn or conceeded a goal when United had that spell of brief pressure.
This was a masterclass from EV and the team, they got the freaking job done. |

I'll take any victory honestly, just any one will do. Going by EV's antecedent I am shocked to see a 4-3-3, I thought he would use his usual 4 man midfield he has always used in away games. I guess this means we plan to attack and control the game at the same time. An iteresting game awaits us guys, I can't wait. |

Tundexxy: With Kane not playing second leg...
Man city will qualify.... is it not 1:0?
City were not at their best yesterday as he guardiola rest some player, the reason best known to him.... and i hope he realize that the guy called Delph will continue to be a disaster for him if he continue to use him as a fullback..
They won't struggle as much as they did yesterday and will qualify next week A goal for tottenham means City has to score 3 goals, it won't be as easy as portrayed. Delph is bad luck + Horrible put together in his apari head and to think he was the one getting angry when City lost to wigan in the FA Cup last season like say na one senior player. Otu oshi |

Isomerizm: The way Barça fans are bragging on twitter, boy! You'd think they just came back from the future.
And, honestly, I used to be very wary of Man City, until that yesterday's game. Pep always have a terrible record playing away games in the champions league especially in the knockout stage. He has this believe his team can whoop any team at home hence his reason for benching Sane, Debryne and Bernado. It might be his undoing this time around as it was with Barca in 2012 and Bayern in 2016. |

Olamyyde: Lol...bonnuci is a ret-arded defender. Chiellini has been covering that fool's ass this season. Why do u think milan let him him go after one season? He has been underwhelming since his transfer to milan.
Pique and leglet is still the best cb pairing in europe so far. You have changed the context, you talked about pairing not individuals.A Pair is entirely different from individuals, so even if one out of the pair is below par and the other one covers his blushes it doesn't remove the quality of the pairing. Bonnuci-Chielini pairing has played consistently unchanged throughout the season while Pique-Lenglet is subject to changes occasionally especially when Umtiti is fit as it was before November(before Umtiti's injury) and after February(when he returned) Calling a pair that hasn't played together all through the season unchanged consistently the best is far-fetched..A season is a marathon, August to May not December to March although Pique-Lenglet's partnership has been top notch thus far. |

Sommyroy10: The €120 Barça are charging MUFC fans for Camp Nou is the most expensive ticket in MU's history outside of a final. MUFC will now increase cost of Barça's tickets at OT to €120...and use difference to subsidise ticket prices for travellers to Camp Nou down to £75. Now because United have increased their ticket price for Barca fans to €120, Barca's board has decided to subsidize the price too for our fans, now our fans will pay 75 too when they go to old trafford while Barca board pays the remaining 45 on each travelling fan. Very Childish back and forth really, one wonders why Barca Board started the nonsense in the first place. |

IKON360: Dani Alves was easily the best right back in the world for 5 years. Its just that Xavi and Iniesta's work were more obvious. Personally, the most important player in Barca's midfield for the past 11 years is Busquets, Busi helped Xavi, Iniesta and the whole team both Barca and Spain to thrive, yet you almost won't notice him. Xavi left, Busi and Messi thrived, Iniesta left Busi and Messi thrived. Only Rakitic has been able to replicate Busi's contribution to our build up in the past 10 years. Busi was very important actually the context is who is more productive with Messi not who's most important in Barca's midfield. Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets were all crucial in their respective roles in that Barca Midfield. Im just trying to erase that fallacy that Xavi, Iniesta made Messi. |

Sommyroy10: Lionel Messi & Luis Suarez, A Bromance Capped With 41 Assists The Blaugrana duo once exchanged passes with their chests then Messi brought the ball down to his left foot and scored. In his last assist to Messi, Suarez pulled off an insane blind backheel pass to the five-time Ballon d’Or winner in a crowd of Real Betis player on Saturday.
With that assist, the Uruguayan is now just one goal-pass away from equaling Dani Alves’ record of the most assists to Messi, which amounts to 42. Yet scummies everywhere said Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets made Messi... Fools Most idiots don't know Dani Alves had a far more productive relationship with Messi that those aforementioned. |

biomustry: We do need him, he's young and good. Vermaelens contract will eventually come to an end De Ligt is right footed so Vermaleen doesn't even come to the picture at all. Whereas he's very good, a special player, he shouldn't be signed just yet because he will have to fight for space with Gerard Pique who can still guarantee at least 2 years at the top level and i know De Ligt can't wait for 2 years. So its either he signs now and understudy Gerard for the foreseeable future(which i don't see happening) or we don't sign him at all, we already have the highest wage bill in Europe, 70% of our turnover last season went to wages and we've overspent on De Jong already too, coupled with the fact that there are more pressing needs and positions that needs urgent replacement. So De Ligt will be a very good signing and can go on to be one of the best defenders in recent times but we can't have it all.If a 19yr old defender is signed for 60M with the precarious situation we are in right now then the end lopin cinema. |

Notable mention: Arturo Vidal(Mr Viking)
He must play in all our remaining champions league games this season, especially the away games(this one is non negotiable).
I remember earlier this season, I once said he should buy mouka foam and cement his place on the bench, How ignorant was I?..Sometimes just a little patience is required |

Messi decides when he wants to turn up in games. Vidal is an absolute steal. I don't know why I'm so worried at the sight of Suarez been injured at this time, like I suddenly realize Boateng isn't better and Suarez is needed at least for this season. Lastly, this just shows If we play really well we can beat any team on our day. |

Eruditor: As usual, we have started boasting again. Fellow Cules please relax. We have not been a good away team and we are facing a United team that will willingly park the bus. We don't have any evidence that we have broken down teams that sit back and defend so we should hope for individual brilliance. United are also good on the counter with pacy players like Martial, Rashford and Pogba who can hurt us on the break. It won't be an easy fixture. Don't even deceive yourselves. We will win though. Hopefully.
As per the next fixture, take it one step at a time. Liverpool will be × 2 more difficult than United because they don't need to play well to get chances. I know what I am saying. That's the only thing needed, when we defeat United then we can discuss Liverpool. |

The danger of underrating United is very very minimal. Manchester United isn't Roma and Barca knows the threat they pose also. However saying United will be out is a conclusion drawn from the Roma disgrace last season. They can't repeat the same mistake again. |
