ITbomb: If it was for love and she says no, let her go
But if that punny must be chop, guy keep pestering her. She must yield, after collecting, pass it on
Guy. Lmao.
Even if na for punany. Still walk away. What's the point of pleading with someone, who you will spend on her and the likes, and she still won't appreciate you. There are many out there, why waste your time pestering one. L
Goo0dHardDick: You ask a woman out, she says NO. As a man, don’t start thinking, “Maybe I need to try harder, maybe if I apply pressure, she’ll like me.” That’s a loser’s mentality. If she’s not interested, two things can happen: She’ll keep rejecting you and start hating you for disturbing her. She’ll use you since you won’t stop.
Understand this: the moment a woman meets you, she already knows if you’re her type. If she finds you attractive, she won’t play games, she’ll show interest. Women only play hard to get with men they don’t really want. Learn detachment. Walk away. Respect yourself. Desperation is unattractive.
Well, a woman will most likely still play hard to get, with a man she really likes. Especially with their ingrain mindset of not wanting to be seen as 'cheap'.
Palehair: It's not just in the MCU, Hollywood in general don't know how to portray intense poverty especially during the romcom boom and actors couldn't be bothered nowadays to get out of their comfort zone to portray characters in abject poverty. Gone are the days of Halle Berry who didn't bathe for ten days to accurately portray a crack addict in jungle fever or Robert De Niro who literally worked 12-hour shifts driving a taxi in New York City for taxi driver
How is that post different from what we see everyday in Nigeria? Haven't you seen dead broke girls and boys, who live in squalor and yet, they brandish iphones worth more than their entire existence? Didn't they say "art imitates life"?
If someone can not survive snake bite, because there is no anti venom, bros you think am na, na gunshot wound dem wan come survive.
meobizy: Do people actually survive gunshot wounds in this country? Every piece of news regarding the act, I see “the victim was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.” The realization suppose make anybody japa. If 50 Cent was shot five (not nine) times in this country, he would’ve been past tense today.
Her driver should be invited for questioning. He's the first point of call. I can't imagine how he escaped unscathed, while she didn't. Or didn't the assailant rain bullets on the vehicle? 🤦
Well, I wish him well. Let him enjoy the full hospitality of the FG, i.e free food, free house, simply put, free basic amenities. He's a very lucky man.
Ishilove: None that I know of. I was referring to the video in the OP
Okay. Was thinking you were referring to the video the king was referring to about videoing the victims when they were being raped and harassed.
I believe the police should use that video to identify those who took part in that nonsense and arrest them. Let them tell the magistrate the reason for their stupidty.
We have many mad people roaming about Nigeria, waiting for the slightest excuse to show just how mad and raving they are. It's the very reason I am never in support of any protest, because this raging lunatics are always about waiting...
She should prove her case in court. I wonder why she would even agree to such a thing, without having witness and having receive the so called payment she was allegedly promised.
I think the reason for all this, is just money. She wants money, and when the money isn't forthcoming, she has resume her lamentation.
I trust in court, she will provide all her evidence she claim to have, not all this social media noise making.
I'm curious to know if he signed a contract. I honestly don't get this lamentation about him not owning a house or a car, when he knows his is no different from an employee.
What a shame. Imagine how this randy and useless men turned a scared tradition into mockery.
It's a good thing the King invited the police. Let the chief priest a s his cohorts tell the police their own version of the story. The police should also take statement from the girls and all those involve in the festival.
Don't gaslight. There is always a choice. The choice of getting pregnant solely rest on the woman)girl. It was her choice to let the man go raw with her, talkless of allowing him come inside her.
So, please don't gaslight.
Mariangeles: How are they so? Because they were impregnated, and chose to have the baby?
Na this kind of your comment dey make some young girls flush pikin wey them suffer born inside toilet, because of shame and fear. Make una dey try do better. After all, na men like una impregnate those ladies, come abandon them.
Foolish woman. You wrre promised to be paid 70k dolls, yet you retracted whatever frivolous claim you've made without being paid? How foolish can you be?
DissTroy: Before I came on here, I happened on this beat: https://www.facebook.com/share/r/17Lidch44B/ Which Nigerian rapper do you think can spit on this beat to make it go platinum then drop a music video which is just as classic?
Mode 9 of course. That instrumental sounds alot like that of Cry.
DissTroy: I don't listen to Davido too. Or Wizkid. I can tolerate Burna Boy but he's not on my playlist. I've always been clear about artistes and genres I listen to (alternative music being chief amongst them).
Naeto was just being his suave self.
Carriage/finesse/style are almost the same thing and Naeto's is better.
Did you watch the BET cyber I mentioned where all of them were on?
Notice all of them jumping all over the place and when Naeto came on, he just slowed down and did his easygoing, soft life thingy? That's the carriage Jay Z had in the later stages of his career. All those collaborations with Beyonce before he married her and Pharrell. Hov was oozing finesse Lil Wayne, 50, Ricky, and Jada and many others can never replicate. But Wayne will hit Jay for lyricism.
Even 3 Stacks who I consider a more introspective lyricist than Hov can't match Hov for sauvity/finesse.
Like I sad before, I have watched that cypher more times than I can count. Heck, I even watched it again, and Mode 9 killed it. He is way better than all of them combine.
Respect to the greatest Nigerian rapper/lyricist of all time: Mode 9 🙌
DissTroy: You guys have started. That's how you people try to diminish Davido's accomplishment, tagging it to generational wealth like BRed who is just as silver-spooned isn't on an alternate musical trajectory.
By the way, go watch their BET cypher 14 years ago. Naeto bested all of them with finesse and that composed ease while Mode 9 had the best lyricism but was all over the place like M.I.
As for mummy's money, Mo'hits were shooting videos just as expensive as Naeto C's in 2008 too, but if you don't have that finesse, no number of "Directed by Sesan" can give it to you.
I'm giving everyone their credit. M.I.'s 2008 "Talk About It" album was the first Nigerian rap album I bought. Everyone knows Mode 9 is the lyricist king.
The comparison was essentially about suavity/finesse. The same characteristics which set apart a CAPital F.E.M.I. from a Wande Coal, even though Wande is the better vocalist.
Believe me you, I don't know who Bred is. I don't even listen to Davido. The only song, I've ever liked from Davido is Kante, and it's because Fave killed that song, not Davido. I mean, Fave literally committed double murder in that song. Not that I'm toning down Davido's accomplishment, nope, I'm not. I'm just saying I don't like his music and don't appreciate his kind of music, especially with the fact that it's coming from his mouth.
I've watched that BET cypher more times than I can imagine. Mode 9 dropped a hydrogen bomb in that cypher. He bested them all. While Naeto C was just being Naeto C, swag, nothing more.
Kay, ma main man. What makes a rapper/lyricist, are his lyrics, not his finesse or how much he has in his pockets. It's the same with KRS 1. Dude never won a Grammy, yet he's number 1,2 ,3,4 and 5. Can't even compare him with Eminem.
Take this from me, I love Eminem with every fibre of sense in me, but when it comes between Eminem and KRS 1, bro KRS 1 got me.
A rapper is a rapper because of his lyrics, not his looks. Naeto is using fine boy, finesse or swag, with plenty money to do music. Atleast you can agree his lyrics are wack.
Point me to any Nigerian rapper who has/had as much finesse as Naeto.
Finesse isn't lyricism, you know? Drake has more finesse than Lil Wayne but Wayne is the better lyricist.
Show my any rapper with more finesse than Naeto C. Don't mention M.I. or Mode 9 because you'll be wrong.
Mode 9 role-played and still role-plays a thüg with lyrical mastery. Lyrical mastery isn't finesse.
I call lyrical mastery finesse. It takes a great amount of finesse for one to master and manipulate words, like Mode 9 does.
If you're talking about style, meaning finesse, yeah, Naeto's got it, I mean, with Mama's heavy bucks supporting him here and there, why won't he have finesse.
Even after many years, that video kini big deal still has style written all over it. Aside that, bleh. So, Style = swag, swag = finesse.
No Nigerian rapper since Naeto has half as much finesse as Naeto C.
Others were and are role-playing gångsters, Naeto was and is being the Don.
Point me to one Nigerian music video with as much finesse as Naeto C's 2007 "Kini Big Deal?" The closest is Banky W's 2010 "Lagos Party" but it had some tacky parts. Rewatch both on YouTube now.
"Kini Big Deal?" Is even too much. Let's start with his "Ako Mi To Po Ju" music video. Who comes close? Nobody touches Naeto.
Now your definition of finesse relates to his videos alone? Not his style, his lyrics, his poise, his use of literary devices, his message etc?
Need to know, because I know when it comes to all what I wrote, no Nigerian rapper comes as close to Mode 9. I honestly don't think there ever will be any rapper close to him.
