If we hung out, now using Time travel, it's very possible for me to return back to the exact same date, in a different location, the same time zone and not encounter my old self chilling with you guys because it's a different location but the same time zone, as I wasn't in the location I traveled to in the past, this creating an alternate timeline or so I think

Time travel would mean leaving that line at one point and getting to another point either ahead or behind while time itself doesn't stand still.

I believe Time itself stand still and the same time, it moves. It stand still with dates. Take for example 05-10-1983 etc. That itself is Time standing still, and Time can't go back to that time again, but it might be possible, humans can, with the aide of machines, just like aeroplanes, that usually take us from one time zone, to another.

How do you know where you'll land since it doesn't stop, and if you leave the " timeline " where will you be while waiting to reenter. How would the person exist outside the timeline.

There are so many questions unanswered.

The Blackhole theory ( bending the straight line till two poonts meet )is still the only one that has tried to answer the question however its still a theory and still doesn't answer " when the time traveller would arrive " there's no sure way of knowing.

The blackhole theory just make it easier to people to arrive at their various Time destination.

Take for example, going to Egypt. Egypt is 2 hours ahead of us, if I'm to walk there, it will probably take me more time, and also age me during the process of walking there. So using an aeroplane, it takes me less time and doesn't age me, much as walking will age me. This is the same logical explanation I have that buttress the blackhole theory.
