Truth be told, The Nigerian Armed forces is not all that bad, there are a few brave men here and there in the army, But majority of them have become cowards, the recent reports of supposed soldiers retreating from boko haram is highly discouraging, and to add insult to injury, we are now hearing stories that hunters have started recapturing towns which the Nigerian Army retreated from tactically, if the Nigerian Army can not handle boko haram, a terrorist organisation made up of rag tag hungry looking men, I wonder how the army would be able to fight hardened Jihadist militants that will soon start proliferating the border towns, Tuareg rebels from Mali would likely start trooping to Nigeria to help their islamist brethren, and these rebels are hardline fighters, far more experienced than the crop of fighters in Boko haram presently, what would the army do then? The army is our last form of defence, and honestly it's asif Nigeria is without an Army. We are doomed if the Nigerian Army continues this New Trend of "Tactical Retreat" from major fighting. If The army feels it can not deal with fighting boko haram, it should contract the fighting to PMCs.
Brother, I tell you majority of the people in the armed forces, even the officer corps joined the armed forces because of the blatant fact that there are no jobs in the country!.

Who wants to die? Especially when you know that you are the bread winner of your family and if you die your family will be left high and dry, and the FG won't even pay your entitlements on time. So what are we saying?.

The spirit of nationalism is dying faster than the speed of light in this country, its as if our motto is: "all man for himself, God for us all". Everyone looks after himself and everyone is for himself. All the more reason why "things fall apart" in this country.
RomanceRe: Nairaland Ladies Can Form? by joseph1832(m): 7:40pm On Nov 14, 2014
Igbohater:
How can i successfully woo a lady on Nairaland? I have sent series of PM's to several ladies including the one's i'm crushing on but they all have one thing in common. They tend to ignore my Pm's and form that hard to get attitude. This is sickening cos i'm single and searching for a lady i can build a relationship with. I have read several threads about how people met and got married through nairaland and it inspires me and i decided to try it out. Why are all the ladies on here ignoring me? Are nairaland laides insecure? Guys how do you go about getting their attention? Matured answers please cool cool cool
The mature ones will reply your pm, I believe its only the immature ones who'll ignore.

The basic thing a girl needs to know is: listen to what a guy has to say, then if he's saying gibberish, give him the booth, as simple as that.

lets get two things straight:
1. Ebola was engineered towards black people and zmapp can only cure the whites, thats why they didnt admisnister it to eric duncan but the other eight people were treated.
2. synagogue guest house was brought down the same way world trade center was brought down. is it a coincidence that the biulding went down when up to 100 south africans were lodged there just the sametime nigeria was trying to buy weapons through SA, weapons which the us refused to sell and blocked isreal from selling.
Men oh men. I suppose the C-130 hercules aircraft slammed into the synagogue building right?. Dude you're only giving me conspiracy theories based on personal opinion and assumption.

it's so unfortunate that the Nigerian Army is now a shadow of it's former self.
The Nigerian Army is still okay. Remove tribalism and religious bigotry and you'll see what the army can do.

Ask ECOWAS today if they still respect Nigeria as they did during Abacha era. Nigeria that is disgracing itself begging for loans to to buy jets to fight a fake jihadist who are sponsored by the same America our government has become a puppet for.

Those who were calling for the overthrow of Abacha should now realise that it was enemies of Nigeria USA and others that were funding and intigating dissent. Now they can see what has become of the post Abacha Nigeria.
I really can see that you are pro despotic! Even before Abacha Nigeria was respected in ECOWAS and the world at large!.

You should stop shouting Abacha Abacha because Nigeria was relatively good before the coming of Abacha! It become worse during the era of Babangida!.

If you say the U.S are sponsoring Boko Haram please show me real proof don't give me personal opinion or conspiracy theories.

GenBuhari:
Ask ECOWAS who was considered leader of Africa ?

Why do you think Sierra Leone has a major road in its capital named after Sani Abacha.

Would Cameroun have dared open it mouth to even claim Bakassi during Abacha's days?

Who was the regional superpower that intervened in Liberia and Sierra Leone wars to stabilise the region?
Dude when it comes to ECOWAS Nigeria is a superpower, but when it comes to A.U well I reserve my comment.

You seem to forget that the times of General Abacha is different from this present time.

Roads are named after villains and heroes, I really don't see how that aid in development.

When one consider is different from what really is. Nigeria is considered the 'Giant Of Africa' does this mean that we are really the giant of Africa?.

There's a vast difference between a man who says "I will tar this road and does nothing" and a man who says "I will tar this road and went ahead and tar the road.

USA and Europe are broke so it is time to suck harder on Africa.

They need to ensure that China does not replace them in securing our resources and also the danger that Nigeria could become powerful as we were during the days of Abacha is a risk that they may not want to take.

BTW latest Oil price: $74 per Barrel
Nigeria powerful during the days of Abacha? Powerful in what sense?.

Terrorism has started.
Ebola vaccine when it come will depopulate us, not only from killing us directly, but would make those who survive it infertile.

Those who have ears let them hear!

Boko Haram is CIA sponsored and is aimed at distablising Nigeria to the extent of widespread sectarian unrest which would NATO /UN the excuse to come in and break up Nigeria.

Those who cannot see the white man as your enemy you are doomed!

A word is enough for the wise.
What will NATO/UN gain from distabilising Nigeria? Seeing that they are already gaining more than enough.

The Catholic Church is not as biased as you think. They tell you the blunt truth and they don't involve in partisan politics.
Spoken like a true catholic! They can start telling the truth by compensating all those people they burnt alive and accused of heresy just because they have different beliefs.

The blood on the hands of the Catholic church still reeks....

As usual you can't hide your dislike for CAN President.
No Spiritual leader or group of persons speaks the truth about insurgency and the state of the Nigerian nation more than the CAN President, not caring whose ox is gored.
The independent day speech and many other speeches he addressed Government and Nigerians at all levels is available for unbiased minds to decipher the truth.
Is that right?

This is the last thing Ayo Oritsejafor will tell Jonathan about the real situation of things in the country. A whole CAN president for that matter!

God bless the Catholic Bishops.
You expect Machine Gun Oritsejafor to bite the fingers that feed him.

I believe the Catholic bishops will not live Aso Rock empty handed. Also I just hope GEJ didn't cajole them to support him come 2015.

Poems For ReviewMy Little Chi. by joseph1832(op): 3:08pm On Nov 13, 2014
My little Chi

So little and rare that men think you are mere.
Amidst trials and travails you hold your head high.
You stand firm and just for that which you must.
For your voice is as serene like a siren.

My little Chi

My hearts sings a melody;
For that which is our parody.
I haste to taste the liquor which conquer like victor.
I stoop to ponder that which wonder like thunder.
My tongue shudder at the rudder of your rubber;
I plunder with glee when I entered your fonder.

My little Chi

I wake with haste and realize you were chaste.
Feelings of shame wash and frame.
For I knew I took away that which is chaste.

My little Chi

Pain and gain have I caused.
Cause I knew I had slain that which was chaste.
And I haste to chase what I must,

My little Chi

For the aches and the shakes,
For the nights of brakes,
For the fakes and wakes,
For the tears and wails
That echo in the mind of saints.

My little Chi

I am sorry!.
