missberrypop5: And the professor didn't ask if he was going to be paid or not. you have a good mind for business. Mr. school goer, Who cares? Now Babe, take that somewhere else. Apparently you! Mind you I never said I went to school did I?. "Assumption is the mother of all fuckups". |

chrisviral: No offence but some peeps self talk as though they aren't educated, right from the onset of this contest, It was evident Naijaboy was going to win, even the goats in my street knew, the war was just for the runner ups.
Again, stop all the popular shit, he is handsome shit, humble shit and six pack, what matters is who is the peoples favourite, and the people has made their choice, if Naijaboiy didn't win, I personally would have thought something fishy about the result, besides the contest wasn't for person way get fine face, no offence, kulboy had only a fine face, that's all, Chibwike was humble, Emperorking displayed simplicity, all contestants displayed intelligence but at the end, who was the peoples favourite, Naijaboiy was.
Same happened in Jemminma case, vivly fine pass for face, rokiatu get the shape pass, but at then end who was the peoples favourite, and she won! Accept defeat and go to bed, there is only going to be one winner and we have it.
*if you quote me and talk rubbish or insult me, I won't quote you back, you just increased my mention by one Like you rightly said: "the peoples favourite won". Seeing as the peoples favourite successfully put GEJ in ASO ROCK and as a result people die left right and centre and the peoples favourite can't do a damn things about it I'll say the people are silly!(No offense). Democracy was and never will be for the black man. |

missberrypop5: no i didn't. Maybe you teach me.
. . . . . So this thing finally came to an end. Congrats To the Winner. Now I see you didn't go to school because if you did you'll really know 'teachers' hardly ever teach pro bono. They say "talk is cheap, especially when you're not using a GSM phone". I tell them "try being a teacher and you'll know talk is a sextillon light years from being cheap". |
Romance › Re: Mr Nairaland [December 2014] Contest Winner - Naijaboiy! by joseph1832(m): 10:14pm On Nov 22, 2014 |
So the moniker naijaboiy won. Sincerely speaking I know not what this person did that warrant the judges to deduct 10 votes, if the judges could actually deduct votes based on what this moniker did I really don't think it fit that such a moniker should be address as Mr Nairaland.
There again this proves another testament to the fact that Nairaland is truly the reflections of many Nigerians on social media and believe me, its full of nepotism, religious and tribal sentiment and heavily laden with bias and egotistic emotions.
Congratulations Naijaboiy! You really prove that election, be it social media or real life is 'a do or die affair'.
Congrats once again to you and all those who contested!. |

Congratulations to all those who contested in the Miss Nairaland and Mr Nairaland contest. All you guys rock.
PS: For Mr Nairaland 55 guys contested while 14 girls contested for Miss Nairaland. I believe this is a valid testament to the fact that here in Nairaland, THE GUYS HAVE MORE BALLS THAN THE GIRLS!!!.
Thank you very much. |

Love! The consciousness of guilt, Aura of essence, And the mother of emotions.
I am still finding my feet with poetry. Im more of a prose person. Sometimes I write poetry like I'm writing prose Hate! The opposite of love The essence of darkness The reflection of anger and rage The consciousness of emotions spiraling out of control. *same here, sometimes I also dabble between poetry and prose. My thoughts influence my words. Its based on what I see and hear around me*. |

I actually haven't written a poem since 1999. The Miss Nairaland contest woke up the poetry side of me, all thanks to rozzay abi na rozzayy now. The girl can make you discover stuff about yourself. berem: Everyone keeps saying Buhari will islamize Nigeria. You see the extent PDP has totally brainwashed Nigerians? They all fail to let common sense be there guide. I mean muslims have ruled this country more than christians and if they the muslims couldn't Islamize Nigeria, I don't see Buhari doing it. Even Abacha with all his gra gra couldn't. So what tha hell!!!. |

rhymz: Nothing scares me like a woman who is too keen our where the relationship is leading to the point it becomes a theme topic every time you meet.... Nothing annoys me more than a woman who try and shove her religious beliefs down my throat especially by always wanting me to go to church(with her). |
